I bought this spanner because, as the other review mentions, it was the cheapest 300 mm adjustable spanner I could find direct from Amazon. The spanner has a metric mm scale on it, with the markings going from 0 to 36 mm (0 to 35 mm after accounting for the error), but the scale is slightly small, with an error of 1 in 30 compared against a single metal ruler (The ruler shows 29 mm compared to the spanner scale which shows 30 mm over the same distance). The spanner when fully closed still has a gap of about a millimetre, even though the marking against the scale lines up with 0 at this point. Fully opened it has a jaw size of 37mm.Unlike the other reviewer, I found that the wheel is easy enough to turn with one hand, using a finger or thumb. The edges of the spanner are rough around the edges, including the handle.

It took me ages of doing research trying to buy the right wrench for the job, some of the brand names are way to expensive. I decided to buy thhis one because it seemed to fif the bill on paper, and I was right. It is heavey and made of good solid metal, not like some other flimsy looking ones, and my husband was able to use it to tighten the leaky washer dryer inlet pipe.I gave it a five tar rating because it is so easy to use and is of good quality

I have this wrench and there is nothing wrong with it for the lighter demand jobs but I found it unable to release a seized tap body and needed to use something longer and with better grip. If you are an occasional DIYer you may not have the upper body strength to undo really seized items...that is why you may find this less effective than a heavy duty version. Price wise it is a bargain and having used it for ages it does the smaller jobs just fine.

Bought this when on a pliers and spanners spree but it was definitely a worthwhile purchase. They are well made and robust, easily standing up to everything I have thrown at them thus far. They have a nice weight to them when using them so neither feel flimsy or leave you with aching muscles from lifting a ton weight. Will probably reorder so that I have one in each tool bag.

Not bad quality, but they did need a bit of oil on them to make them run smoothly. Also there is a little bit of play in the jaws which could mean that they might slip int he future (and I will end up skinning my knuckles...).However as cheap addition to my in car tool-roll, I think they are just fine, but I wouldn't want to be using day in and day out.

cheap wrench. reasonably well made (especially for the low price) I would recommend it for DIY type people like myself (I use it to change Calor gas bottles over). probably not designed for heavy use such as a car mechanic... but if you are a car mechanic what are you doing buying tools under £3. It's not Snapon quality but it does the job pretty well.

I was a bit worried ordering these, expecting a lot of play and the jaws not to line up. Under load I expected this to lock up but these work perfectly for when in a rush.My prime use is the measurements on the jaws which I use to check the size of a nut then I can get the right spanner.

A well made adjustable wrench with very little play in the jaw. Typically cheap wrenches are notorious for having ill fitting jaws, but these are very good and well finished, providing a reasonable quality tool for the price. Well done Silverline. Recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Works well with no undue sloppiness in the jaws. I used it in conjunction with a bicycle crank puller which necessitated using my foot to turn the wrench and it felt secure at all times. I like the scale on the jaws to aid approximate size setting before use.

It's inexpensive, it does the job for those that don't need the job done often, and so I recommend it to anyone like myself who just needs it every once in a while. I'm not sure it could hold up to long-term use, but it won't fall apart very easily either.

Bought 2 their simply that good, they boast a lifetime warrenty and they are good standard, i bought 2 due to this so i can work on a bike wheels which you have to grib one nut while turning the other side simply a job that only one of them couldn't do.

Great piece of kit. Save yourself room and money on a different sized kit, I've yet to find a household job that is too narrow or small to use this in. It's great from tightening nuts on decking to tightening bolts on the children's gate.

It's a tough spanner, having survived being used as a hammer in times of frustration, it works well, there is not a lot you can say about it really. It's cheap too, probably costs Amazon more to ship it then they make on it.

You cannot really say much about a adjustable wrench other than it works well and was very reasonably priced. I would buy other products from this seller if the need arose. Arrived timely and well packaged. Very pleased

The Silverline WR20 200 mm Adjustable Wrench was purchased for use whilst cycling to enable adustments, and roadside repairs to be made. Will use in earnest in August, but appear well made and reasonably priced.
