Very pleased with this starter kit including Led lamp. Very easy to follow instructions and just like the one I used to have from the salon. This is the first time I try gel nails at home and I think it’s easy enough for most people who can paint their nails. I took about 30 mins including tidy up my cuticles and it was completely dry. I did some housework after and I thought I had scratched my nails but no, it was fine as strong as the one from the salon. This save me lots of money and I will never go back to the salon again. The reason that I only gave 4 stars is because I found the colour is a bit bright red-orange than the colour on the box. However, the colour is still nice!Please see photos from day 1-day 8,

I had my sensationail starter kit bought for mothers day 2014! Omg I love it! Everything you need to create a set of nails and remove your nails. You may wish to add a better cuticle pusher to assist cuticle removal and gel removal but you can start asap!I have 5-6 sensationail polishes and then I branched out on Amazon and Ebay to Bluesky and Elite99. Both are excellent.If you follow correct preparation eg, cuticle trimming, pushing, prepping of nail bed by slight buff and then wipe with alcohol cleanserApply nail dehydrator, primer,Be mindful when applying coats of polish that it never touches skin or cuticles,

I’d read mixed reviews so wasn’t entirely sure about buying this but for the same price as getting gel nails at a salon I thought it was worth a try. I thought the instructions were really easy to follow. I did double the amount of time for setting as some reviews said it was still tacky after 15-30 seconds. I also thought they were a bit tacky but once I gave them a good wipe with the gel cleaner included they were fine and I think I ended up with a great result. I only have a few minor comments which stopped me from giving this a 5 star review. I found the colour gel polish a bit thin so would probably use 3 or 4 layers to get a better finish. The bottles are tiny but it is only a starter kit so I guess that’s to be expected.

I honestly don't think that the one star reviews for this product have followed the instructions to the letter. The prep of your nails is the most important part of the process, if you do not take the time to do this correctly the varnish will not last as it is supposed to. I am no nail tech, but followed the guide and am so impressed with the results! I am on day 6 and have not one peeled, chipped or spoilt nail. Be sure to do the colour in two light layers or it will not cure properly - first layer should look patchy and like you have barely any colour on. I recommend curing your thumbnail separately. I am not sure how there are some 1 / 2 star reviews here, the lamp is very effective and the whole process is straightforward - just follow the instructions included. It took me about half an hour to do my manicure. I did leave each coat under the lamp for twice the recommended time, but realistically based on how well the gell is now holding up I will probably just follow the instructions properly next time. The red is a very bright scarlet, quite a 'flat' colour. Good for summer, or for toes. Personally I prefer something darker on my fingers but each to their own. I also like how small the lamp is - very compact and easy to put away (I don't have a lot of storage space!). I can happily fit my toes under,

I bought this product as my friend has one and swears by it so I thought I would give it a go and I am pleased! I saw some of the reviews saying that the bottles were small or that the colour was weak or had leaked in the box - I havent had any of these problems. The bottles are small but remember it's a starter kit (and when do we ever finish a bottle of polish anyway) the bottles were all packaged together neatly and the colour was fine; two coats was plenty. I also bought another colour to go with it from bluesky so that I had two to play with and it worked for both brands. I've had the gel on for 3 full days now and I've done usual activities around the house and in the garden and nothing

lovely colour and set. Starts a bright coral pink, but with wear after 3-4 days it does mellow in to a Peachy coral colour, which is just as nice. I have tried it on a couple of my friends who have a pinky skin tone and a asian skin tone ( I have mixed skin tones - Caucasian mixed with chinese) and it looks lovely on all three skin tones.My only gripe would be the gel cleanser lid. The plastic seal was very hard to remove and even when it was fully removed, it leaked so the bottle had to be upright all the time - making transport a little difficult. My sister also has Sensationail products and her cleanser has a popup lid which doesn't leak is much better when trying to do it one handed!But

I have never had gels nails or used a kit before. The box comes with everything you need to start doing your own gel nails at home. The box contains:- UV lamp- USB cable and plug- Gel cleanser- Gel primer- Top and base coat- Red colour- nail file and orange stick- How to leaflet and cardI used the quick guide card and it was super easy. apply the base coat to the nails, cure for 15 seconds, apply colour (if you want to) cure, then apply top coat. I did'nt use the colour because I prefer my natural nails and i'm using this to keep them strong whilst applying my own colours. You wipe of the sticky nails stuff at the end.

I was given this to me for my birthday by the ladies from work and so far so good! So quick and easy and he colour selection is great. Doesn’t look any different from the professionals and saves a lot of time and money.Literally takes a few minutes and your ready to go instantly. My only gripe being it’s quite snug. You have to do your thumb separately and your toes just about fit in.I will review again after I have done the first take off too.UPDATE. Day 6 and have had one chip. Photos to follow... day 1 then day 6

Having never had gel nails before I was pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to get a brilliant finish that lasted for a good few days.The starter kit includes everything needed, including clear instructions on how to achieve a brilliant finish.The only downside was that they took longer to dry than it states. I did have to be careful for a while so the gel didn't get smudged. It does take quite a while to do, but the finished result is so worth the extra effort.

Great, works well. Good staying power on the polish, even as the first time I applied gel varnish the colour lasted almost two weeks and I do the type of work/hobbies that don't mix well with nail varnish! My only criticism would be that the supplied bottles are pretty small even for a starter kit probably and the prep/wipe gel bottle although still sealed was almost empty. But that was probably just my one, I did get a deal on open box...

I think this is a fabulous little kit. Small enough to transport with you in an evening bag, as I did up a wedding and some lovely colours to use. Practiced this with my friends and we were all impressed with the colours and overall effect. Some of the colours may not be to everyone’s taste but this will always be a factor with this sort of product. Loved it

I love the product and it takes me 30-45 mins to complete. My only issue is that the gel peels off in one clean piece after 1 week.I’ve tried other brands of gel polish which work great with the lamp too.I think people saying the gel never dries/one star haven’t read the instructions properly and not used a lint wipe to finish?

Love this product. It came so quick and has a lovely colour. I had a problem with the last one I brought as the lamp wasn’t working however it was resolved quickly and now don’t have any issues.Absolutely love the colour and so simple to use. instructions are easy to follow.

Simple instructions make it very easy to use. The colour is so vibrant and beautiful perfect for brightening up a blue January. It was also very easy to remove, I have found some gel polishes in the past had to take off but this was very easy with the peel off base coat
