nice inexpensive extra pce to have with any scalextric "digital" set. Especially when using 4 or 6 cars on the newest tracks .we find the start grid helps keep the peace, starting the next race in reverse order with the winner & 2nd place car at the back of the pack eases the tension & adds alot of extra fun for minimal outlay.(remember it comes x2 in the pkt , so you only need "one" of them for four cars. .. ready steady GO..

Essentially just a pair of half straights, with the grid markings on so you have a four car grid. Since they cost the same as normal half straights I'm happy enough, would not be hard to paint you own really but frankly this is a lot easier.

Bought to replace a missing piece of our existing 10 year old track - perfect and now got our back up and working - so much fun!
