I've had this TV for 3 weeks, it's easy to set up. It has excellent picture quality with good viewing angles and is crystal clear especially when watching HD movies and programmes. I Haven't tried 4K yet. There are lots of picture adjustment settings. The sound quality is good but not always, there aren't enough different sound preset settings for my liking and for some reason while playing content through the now tv app the sound is not good at all as you can't hear people talking very well so I turn up the volume but then all the sound affects are to loud, I hope this will be resolved through an update as it seems like it could be a software issue.I might get a soundbar to use with this TV to see if that would improve the sound quality. It came with 2 remotes, the standard one is just standard, but the other remote is very good and once you get used to it you can fly through the menus at speed and it has a built in mic for voice control. Overall I would recommend this TV to my friends and family.

Brought this tv to replace a 10 year old samsung LCD, got a 32 samsung d5000 in bedroom but not been able to warrant the purchase until now for the loving room, & what an upgrade, tv looks great in the dark ish grey colour with the slim bezel, even tho sound has been a big criticism of modern TV's, I am impressed by the level of bass this TV has, I know it's not as good as a soundbar or theatre kit but for a slim TV it's pretty.good. Picture quality is superb, even tho this is still an edge lit LCD panel, I have suffered no light bleeding, colours look great after some calibration, plenty of YouTube videos to help with that. 4K content with HDR looks amazing,if this set looks as good as it does then god only knows what the high end QLEDs & OLEDs are like. Overall very happy with the set & highly recommend in the price range this set sits in.

Where do I start, this tv is brilliant only had it 5 days totally love it. Firstly this tv fully connects to your WiFi so you get access to all the usual stuff like Netflix, you tube, Apple TV, itv hub, bbc iPlayer, prime video and loads others. If you have Netflix any movies that are 4K UHD play automatically as well. Sky q works brilliantly on it which is the main reason I purchased a Samsung 4K tv. The picture is outstanding and adjusts to your light setting in your room. It also upscales normal pic to a better quality near to 4K. Alexa also can be used with this tv which is brilliant my 12 year daughter thought that was really cool. Thank you Samsung for a brilliant tv.(Previous tv also a samsung 46 inch hd) had it since 2011 and is still going strong and is being sold on. Also thank you very for the fab price.

I bought this TV one month ago to sit in my kitchen. The TV itself is easy to mount to a wall and is suitable for one person to setup. The colours of the screen are vividly great and the features surpass my previous models. I particularly like the control via SmartThings and Alexa making automation a breeze. The TV is quick to boot and easy to navigate, although the UX does have the odd quirk which does get a little irritating if you're just wanting the guide. This to me is a minor, but I can see those who're dependent on this as a main screen getting frustrated quickly. Regarding the design, the only real downside is the bezel/border around the screen is a little plasticy and chunky so makes the unit itself feel a little cheap. But this again is a minor issue compared to the positive features.

great tv for the money, easy to set up..only negative comment I have is when I opened the box the batteries were already in the remote controls and nothing was wrapped in plastic and all documents were crumpled up,,someone had already had this t.v,,so I took it back and got a replacement, everything in the second one was as it should be(everything wrapped up) bit annoying when supposed to be buying something new only to discover its second hand,,other than that its a great tv,loads of connectivity

This screen is available in a few flavours and it’s hard to distinguish between them but UE43RU7400UXXU is the full featured one of the lot. This is the one that comes with the Bluetooth remote and allows you to record live tv to a USB device, the others don’t, but it took some digging to discover this because the descriptions and tech specs are often copy pasted. This is last years model but it has the benefit that it comes with an iPlayer app with this year’s model doesn’t come with as yet.

This was one of a number of 43" TVs that got a What Hi-Fi five star review.Argos also (at time of purchase) offered the best price by some distance.Simple to set up, with clear instructions. Make sure you are connected to the internet for software updates and to set up your apps like Netflix and Prime Video. My only small criticism. It's not easy to work out how 4K upscaling and HDR work, but you will find instructions easily with an online search. Overall a great TV with a great picture

Please utilise this television by visiting the settings and optimise your experience. It will run perfectly well straight out of the box....but there is so much more.Buy a quality Samsung Soundbar to utilise Dolby digital at its best.Tip: Use a good quality HDMI cable; attach it to the Soundbar hdmi ARC port and likewise on the tv; .don’t listen to engineers telling you to go down the optical route...l bought an optical cable, tried it, then threw it away....follow my hands-on experience

RU7400 is 2019 Samsung series with pretty much all bells and whistles but no HDR colour, which was a bit disappointing bearing in mind it theoretically has wide colour gamut. If you need that, you need to got Series 8 but smallest are 49". Comparing to 55NU8000 from last year is close but series 8 has deeper blacks. One thing I didn't like is the stand or the leg which looks like antlers and is really massive which is not well visible on the pictures. RU7100 has two stands on each side though.

Going from a 32in 1080p TV to a 43in 4k TV was a massive step up for me, and at first even gave me a bit of motion diziness, but now that my eyes have adjusted to it, i think it's a great TV! Though currently i can't make the most out of it, through YouTube on Xbox I can watch 4K videos and stuff, Netflix 4K films/series, but i only have the xbox one S, so can't play games in 4k, and I'm reluctant to buy the ONE X because there's a new Xbox coming out in a years time now. But anyway, good TV.

We are very pleased with our new 50" Samsung TV. The picture quality is brilliant as is the sound. It makes watching all the films a real experience. There are also lots of wee extra's that we hadn't bargained for like having GoogleTV so's you can buy TV shows made in America that haven't played on British TV such as Succession. That was a bonus! I am sure we will discover other things. The panel board is very easy to use and Netflix plays wee trailers automatically which is good. We love it!

On the whole, an excellent TV that was easy to install (out of the box, base fixed and set up in under half an hour). The only niggles I have are:-1) Teletext (Yes, I still use it) can be very slow to load or will not load at all (the service cannot be found is displayed.2) When on the stand, the TV tilts back ever so slightly and the screen is not at a true 90 degrees. There is no option to adjust this, so if you have a bright room light over there will be a slight tint on the screen.

Once out the box ,always a challenge for a short elderly person, fitting the stand was one of the easier ones I have had to do over the years. All in position and working within 30mins. It found all the tv channels by itself no problem. Picture is a definite upgrade from my previous tv,the sound is acceptable but I have a sound system so not an issue in any event. You do have to create a Samsung account for apps etc but that is no different to having to have an account on a pc. Great tv.

The TV is fantastic, incredible how the price of these large 4K LED TV's has come down in recent years. The picture quality and interface are superb, the only slight quibble is that the sound is what you would expect from a TV's internal speaker (i.e. acceptable but not incredible) and the stand doesn't quite match the rest of the chassis for appeal. If you're wall mounting and using external speakers then neither of these matter a jot, and both points are just nitpicking for the cost.

Overall a good product. The quality of video is amazing however the sound quality is quite poor such that I am thinking of buying a sound bar. It works with Alexa although just for turn on and off. Bixby is also great although it does not listen continuously but only when you press a button on the remote. The universal guide is an important idea but it does not work with all the app you have, i.e. if you have now TV or BBC player you cannot see their offer under the universal guide.
