I don't watch much TV (or at least, I didn't!) This purchase replaced my 14-year old Samsung TV (that was only replaced due to overheating issues). A friend suggested a Smart TV and since there wasn't much difference in price, I thought, why not? Why not, indeed? Set up couldn't have been easier (the step-by-step instructions make it almost impossible to go wrong), the picture is superb, and the options available?... Well, who would have thought you could rewind a program and start again if someone phoned and interrupted your program?... And crouching over my iPad watching something on Catch-Up is now a thing of the past... and then, there's the 100's (1000's perhaps?)

Glad I picked this tv. The picture is perfect and the interface is very easy and intuitive to use. I mainly use the YouTube and amazon prime video apps and they work well. I've watched 4k videos on both apps without issue and it's a nice experience. Aesthetically the TV looks great. The stand is solid and heavy, so the TV isn't going anywhere once in place. I bought this to replace a 40" TV that was damaged and its surprisingly no larger than the old TV despite having a 3" larger screen. I guess that's down to the clever design of the TV itself. One negative I will mention about the TV is that it was a little tricky to set up with my soundbar and sub.

We bought this TV to replace an old Sony, it's out first Smart TV so I can't compare it to other Smart TVs. The set up was straight forward so no problems there, it was easy to tune in the stations and connect to Wi-Fi. Picture quality seems fine to me, remote layout is fine.The only little buggy issue is the TV Guide, the software gets stuck so to speak...sometimes there is a lag in scrolling with the remote and what happens on the TV....it lasts a few seconds then it seems to work fine. Also I needed to retune the stations via the D.Aerial method, there was an option to clear the list and start again which I did but auto re-retuning via the settings didn't find any stations.

Decent TV. Not the best on the market, but you get what you pay for!Key things I like about it.It looks sleek and has a nice standSound quality is good in my opinion- I noticed other reviews said it wasn’t, but sound is a big thing for me and this TV has clear sound qualityReasonably well pricedNegativesPicture quality is good, but not quite the 4K I have seen on other TVs such as Samsung/SonyBig negative is that the remote is quite poor. The plastic buttons are often unresponsive and it seems it doesn’t connect very smoothly with the TV.Other than that I’m quite happy with it. It didn’t cost much in comparison to other high end TVs so not sure I should expect so much more.

Given this is an entry level 4K smart TV the best summary is that it's good for the price. Picture quality is the most important thing and whilst it won't set the world on fire it's fine. It did a recent job of HDR but it falls far short of what you'll get on a £700+ TV.The Smart features are just about ok. The range of apps is limited compared to other brands but the big ones (Netflix, Prime, iPlayer) are there. A notable absence is Google Play. So really you need to pair this with a Roku or another streaming device.I was looking precisely for a quality TV in this price range and this did not disappoint. If you can afford to spend more however do so.

Easy to set up, this Smart TV with pre programmed apps and Amazon Fire attachment and Alexa integration is super. I use Freesat, which the TV takes me to immediately, without having to go through ‘source’ to gain access to it.I’ve the 55” model, and what I noticed is that when using room lights, they don’t cause any reflected light from anywhere in the room. CLEVER!I would definitely recommend this TV to everyone.The TOSHIBA smart TV, is as good as any expensive model on the market today.

Decent budget tv. Excellent picture, though you do have to tinker with it, loads of settings, took me about a week to get it how I like it.The UI is sometimes a little laggy and slow to respond.HD channels look great, built in Netflix 4k stuff looks great too. You can stream media from a PC to it using a media server, plays downloaded 4k right off a usb hard drive.The brushed metal stand is nicer than the two small legs you get on most units.Overall I am happy with purchase.

Tv looks great perfect size and happy the stand is in the middle so it fits on my tv unit. Picture isn’t as good as I thought it would be and Alexa is too confusing to set up (tv as a whole isn’t great to set up) just keeps saying can’t connect Also picture to picture view (connecting your phone to tv) doesn’t work it says you need to app which I’ve downloaded and i wouldn’t even call it an app it’s awful and can’t get it to work.Nice tv if you’re not bothered about all the extras

Looks great and works great. The image quality is impressive. The only problem is that the remote needs to be exactly in the front of the sensor and not side or something. Sometimes Alexa is starting to speak when heat something on tv. I would recommend not to activate Alexa as is annoting and sometimes if you are in the middle of the movie, destroy the whole mood. Othereise sound is good, so no need for a soundbar and image is amazing. Internet i recommend a wired connection, not wireless.

Fantastic TV. Amazing picture. Alex's was a little difficult to set up but I'm not the most technically minded person and it is working. The TV seems rather wobbly on the base and unless I've done it wrong there are only 6 screws, 4 attach the base to the ' leg ' and just 2 from the leg into the back of the TV. The leg was a bit wobbly on the base even before I attached the TV. I've ordered a pack of screws to see if I can make it more secure. The TV is fantastic and highly recommended.

This is a really good TV. The picture is stunning, sound is great with deep bass and once I found where the settings were it easy to setup and get it how I like it. 4 x HDMI slots is okay but could have done with a 5th - thankfully didn’t need the chrome cast in the end as it’s got built in capability to cast from my iPhone. The size is 55”. Thin edging too. I recommend this TV and even got the Alexa working to switch on and off. It took quite a few hours to set up but well worth it.

Bought this as an upgrade and read many reviews first, This lovely TV lives up to them.Picture is bright, crisp and very clean. The up scaling is awesome, some minor glitches when the action is fast paced but this doesn’t detract from the viewing pleasure.The LAN experience is fast, we have virgin so no speed issues and the streaming works really well.Sound is good, can be adjusted and balanced to suit your room.All in all a very decent TV for watching films, tv or sport.

GOOD TV, easy to get started, excellent heavy stand, good remote, had to fiddle with the picture, to get it right, but lots of settings, so, can be done. The DOLBY system on it, is i think, a waste of time, produces odd flat picture, and is of no advantage. This tv has one problem, viewing the screen from an angle, side or above or below, gives picture a washed out look, the excellent picture is only apparant if you are directly (or nearly so) in front of tv.

Excellent value and good quality. Picture is better on hd channels stands to reason I guess but sd channels can look abit hazed. Sound is excellent around, would always recommend sound bar though but this tv is very clear on sound. Connectivity is good it even has alexa built in with wifi and bluetooth technology. Only reason why I gave 4 stars is because standard definition channels seem hazed. Otherwise perfect Just make sure your watching at least hd content.

This TV is excellent! I cannot fault it. It looks lovely with the thin boarder which is mostly found on the expensive ones. The sound quality is excellent and picture quality is great with a few tweaks. I have owned very expensive Samsung and Sony in the past and I have to stress that this TV is in fact better. Unless your a technical geek and have specific requirements this TV has everything you need. Truly an amazing deal! You won’t be disappointed.
