I purchased this on a gut feeling that it was right for me. I had no reviews to go on. I found it very easy to set up and tweaked it over several days to get it just right. The picture is excellent with enough options for adjustments. The sound quality is good. There is a 'black' enhancement available but I found it was not needed for general tv, as it tended to focus the eye on all things black making everything else fall away into the background. So it is better for films or games. I personally would have liked the 'Guide' to have slightly larger print or perhaps a bit more space between the boxed lines because as it is not easy on the eye to follow.I like the return to previous programme button which is often not available on a lot of sets these days. The HDR certainly makes a difference. At the moment I have not connected up to Wifi as I am using another source, but it seems simple enough. This is a tv that offers much and all seems very good. The info' book is very informative and gives step by step guidance. I have had no trouble setting it up or understanding what it has to offer, of which there are good features to satisfy most. I am happy with this great tv.

Bought this tv Couple of weeks ago, I like the picture but the sound quality is not what I expected of Sony, I do have a 2.1inch Sony sound box if I didn’t have this I would not be happy with the Sony Bravia at all, it does have a nice crisp picture I like the fact that you can hide the cables neatly so you don’t see any behind the TV, the remote I’m not a fan of the middle button I feel could protrude up slightly as it’s the same level as the guide and options buttons When I press the arrows to go up or down for the channels I end up going back to the home or info page as your finger hits these buttons..If you are fan of a good sound quality TV this one will dissapoint you,I had tried the sound options but found it very tinny not enough bass option, once you add a sound system you’ll then enjoy the TV a lot more....the Apps are very easy to use along with the set up, minutes and your away, you don’t need a 7 year old it really is a very easy Smart TV to set up and get around...Overall It is a nice TV ...

I have had this tv a month, it is a spare one for our front room so not in use all the time. At first I was concerned as I couldn't get Netflix when I turned back on and I read this was an ongoing problem for this tv. I did some research and followed advice about switching off at the plug after use. That seems to do the trick, Netflix comes up ok the next time I switch on. If it doesn't work from the Netflix button on the handset I go to Home and go into the app that way. Picture very good considering not HD, but I had read that it was a good picture. Sound is quite good, could be a little better, though I do wear hearing aids so it's hard to judge properly. Only thing,no info on each programme in the guide. Easy to set up, just follow 'easy' option onscreen and it finds the internet automatically. All in all, a good purchase. I bought a 32" as I didn't want it too big in the spare room.

Bought this 2 weeks ago to replace a 10 year old Samsung 28". Thanks to the Sony's thin frame it hardly seems a bigger TV than our previous one which we really appreciate. The picture is very sharp and the sound is pretty good too for a TV of this size and price, so excellent value for money especially with the 5 year guarantee included in the price. The You Tube button on the remote is a useful feature and the included internet browser as one of the installed apps was an unexpected bonus. However, this is frustrating and ponderous to use with the remote control and accessing live streams has, so far, proven elusive! Had this feature worked as seamlessly as the catch-up TV apps, and the HDMI connections been located at the rear of the set rather than on the side, which makes it difficult to hide the cables from view this TV would have rated a 5 star review.

Have been using this Sony TV for over a month now, and am very pleased with it. It replaced an ancient Sony Trinitron which gave long and excellent service. Hopefully the new LED Sony lasts just as long!Picture quality is excellent, crystal clear, vibrant colour that I really can't fault. Sound quality is also very good, which was a bit of a concern before I purchased the TV, having read online reviews that criticised sound output. I need not have worried, as the sound quality is fine.I don't use the SMART TV features much, and really only view terrestrial and satellite channels, so can't comment on the smart tv aspects of the product. Initial setup is very straightforward, the instruction manual is fine, the remote control takes a little getting used to. Overall, an excellent TV, I'm very pleased with it.

For the cheapest Sony TV I could find, I was expecting this set to be very basic. However, it's full for apps for catch up TV (all the major TV channels seem to be covered), picture quality is excellent (for the type of panel) and it is quick (i.e. turning on, changing channels, loading apps). A few downsides; there is no Chromecast built in, Freeview doesn't work with the TV guide like YouView (i.e. you can't scroll back to find missed programs - instead you are presented with a screen with popular programs to select) the sound is very tinny (lacks any form of bass) and there are a few occasional glitches that require you to hard boot (i.e. remove the plug, wait 10 seconds and reconnect). However, for the price, you can't complain and it would be an excellent TV for a child's playroom or a den.

I bought the TV a couple of months ago and am pleased with the features. The most notable improvement on my old telly was the improved resolution. The Iternet connectivity required required a little mental adjustment (I am in my late 60s and am not so agile in coming to grips with the technology as the young). Previously I had used Chromecast which required the use of my laptop. The dedicated facility is simpler to use but means I can no longer access personal data held on my computer. The on/off control is very quick, and the slowness of some operations must be down to the speed of my Wifi and so not the responsibility of Sony. The navigation of the menu I find rather slow compared with my laptop's trackpad as it requires more operations.OverallI am pleased with the features avilable.

Bought this set recently and it has all the features that we are likely to use. However there does seem to be an issue with an external hdd connected to record programmes using the timer function. The first hdd we tried refused to record and the tv kept locking up. The only way to get out of it was to cycle the power. It turns out the hdd was too slow. We only found that out by testing on another smart tv which actually said the hdd was too slow. We now have a faster hdd that works fine but there is still a bug. If we go into the 'Title List' of the recordings, the top recording will be highlighted. If we press the 'Select' button on the remote the tv will then lock up.Again the only way out is to cycle the power. To avoid this we must use OPTIONS button and select PLAYBACK.

I have this TV for over a month now and overall I am very happy, the picture is great, the sound is better than a lot of other TV's I looked at. The TV is wall mounted in a kitchen and very tidy. As a SMART TV there are not a lot of apps but YouTube connecting to a phone/tablet over Wifi is good to have (Tested with Android and IOS). Screen mirroring works really well from an Android tablet so displaying anything on your Android to TV is easy and buffer free for videos, Apple IOS users do not have this option though as my fiancée found out. The sound is very good quality for watching TV and listening to music. Having built in Wifi at this price range was great, for a kitchen TV it really is good.Would recommend.

I researched alot of tvs before choosing this one even though it was dearer than other compatible ones. As an oldie I am not so good with some modern technology and had a slight hitch in setting it up. I had to ring the Sony but had trouble understanding the operators accent, I don't think it is uk based. However I got it sorted myself and rest of set up ok. I have not connected to wi fi yet so cannot comment on that aspect yet. Picture clarity, colour and sound are fine. I cannot see why anyone would need a sound bar. Only niggle is on the remote, I have largish hands and find the left, right and side buttons too close to the other buttons that surround it. So far quite pleased with it.

I only wanted a 32" tv and there is not much choice out there presently. I didn't think going from a 1080 to a 720 would be an improvement but my research told me this was not relevant on a 32" tv and they were right. The picture is excellent, easily matches tvs of much higher spec. The colours are true and bright. The sound is good for such a slim tv. Easy to set up and operate with loads of features. The only slight negative is the navigation buttons on the remote and the EPG. Even after a couple of weeks of use I keep mis-pressing the buttons and spend far too much time just trying to find out what's on the telly. That aside,I'm really pleased.

So many great features, where to begin?Easy peasy setup. Just the stand to screw on and away you go.Automatically found the digital channels. The usual crisp Sony picture even on YouTube and only 720p.Sound is good but lacks base from the built in speakers, HOWEVER, the neat "headphones socket" triples also as a digital sound output or a subwoofer output chosen from the menu. Putting a subwoofer on makes all the difference for a great all round performance.Switch on a peripheral and the TV fires up automatically.A 32" HD TV at this price point is a high quality bargain; so good we bought another one for our bedroom!

I purchased this a month ago, for my conservatory, due to the fact i could not see my plasma tv, due to bright light mainly the sun it was just impossible.I took a chance on buying this Television not knowing if a LED would be okay, boy was i surprised what a fantastic difference it made it was so clear and even better on the dynamic setting. i was so impressed that a bought another 4 days latter for the lounge much bigger and better and bought the sound bar for it, and believe me that Television with the sound bar is out out of this world i love it, and also the wattage is so low on both Televisions compared to plasma.

I bought this TV for the bedroom as my old one died on me. I bought the Sony Bravia for two reasons, one because the reviews were so good and the other, because I knew the picture would be superb and crisp. I am Visually Impaired/Registered Blind and I am so happy with the picture and quality of this TV. Only negative point is that the sound has to be turned up a fair bit as the speakers face down from the base of the TV, rather than facing straight out. For me personally, I do not see it as much of a problem as I just turn it up a little bit. Set up was easy too and I did it myself! Overall, I love it!

I brought this a month ago because the one that I wanted to replace my faulty Panasonic tv was not available which was also a panasonic tv . Because of all the good reviews I took the plunge to by this Sony TV and it is the best thing that I have had to do as we had no tv working in our flat . The sound is first class and a improvement on the Panasonic the picture is also a improvement on my old Panasonic . It was easy to set up I even managed to get it connected to the internet . You could say that it is Sony gain and Panasonic lost as I have always gone to Panasonic for my tv dvd and hi fi equipment .
