I’ve bought a lot of Sony product over the years, they may be a little more expensive than other brands, but I think you really do get what you pay for. This tv has lots of plus points: • Great looking• Exceptional picture quality, which only gets better with HD and UHD broadcasts• Stylish solid metal legs, which were very easy to attach• No big power block attached to the power lead• A thin outer bezel around the screen• Easy to use and very intuitive user interface and remote controlIn my opinion, there are only two negatives:• As with all flat panel TVs, the speakers are just adequate so I would recommend a sound bar• The EPG (channel guide)I own a 2-year-old 32” Bravia and the EPG on it is great. When you click on it, you get a small picture of the channel you are watching displayed in the top left hand corner, with the list of channels displayed below, and as you scroll through the channels the programme information is displayed to the side of the picture at the top, so everything you need is there on the screen. I wish Sony hadn’t changed it. On this TV you have YouView rather than Freeview. YouView has a few more channels, and it looks quite snazzy but you don’t get the corner picture or the programme information. It shows the picture behind the guide so you only see the top of the picture and it’s barely visible with an opaque blue tint over it, and you have to press another button to see the programme information, which is annoying. But all in all, it’s great tv! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The TV was very easy to set up, and gave a great picture straight away, although I would recommend spending a little time using the systems menu to fine tune the picture and sound to your individual liking. For example, I favour the "vivid" picture setting. The 4K picture is absolutely brilliant when watching a programme like blue planet, and the upscaling software gives superb picture quality for standard definition broadcasts. There are plenty of HDMI and other inputs to connect Blu-ray players etc., and the picture quality when connected to my Sony camcorder was fantastic, as were the pictures taken on my android phone. It was very simple to link my android tablet and mobile phone to the TV.The apps section is easy to use,and my teenage daughter loves watching you tube videos on the large screen as opposed to her tablet. The sound is very good and for many people would be more than adequate. However, if you want a full cinematic experience you may well wish to purchase a soundbar or surround sound system, although that is the same for all flat screen TVs.The only minor criticism I have is that the remote control feels a little cheap, and the buttons are quite small. Finally, a great TV, superb picture quality, great sound, and, if like me you like android systems you will get on very well with this TV. I have had my TV now for a couple of weeks, and on all honesty it didn't start off as a great experience. I have wanted a Sony TV for many years, and finally I decided now is the time to upgrade to a 4K TV. I looked at so many options and makes within my budget, but I knew deep down that if I didn't buy Sony I would regret it.When I turned it on I was wowed by the clarity and the colours and everything, but when I watched it in the evening I was disappointed that the edge lighting caused a lot of bleeding on the screen especially in the right corner. This meant that the blacks weren't very black at all, but I thought I'd give it a day or two to see how it goes as I was ready to send it back. The next day I tweaked around with the settings, and also researched online about best settings and others having this issue. Well, now I'm very happy. The edge bleed seems to have calmed down after playing with the settings, but also it is less noticeable the more the TV gets used (which I did read that this does happen and you have to give it time, like breaking in a new pair of headphones). My TV is on the wall, and I have my full surround setup and I couldn't be happier now. The TV is quick to respond, everything works great and Dolby Vision and HDR really do make everything look great!

Had this TV a couple of months now. The picture is amazing. The sound isnt as bad as I'd read, I mean yes it's not amazing but that's what a soundbar etc if for. It's the picture that's important and with this TV sony do a cracking job. I did a few video test 4k hdr with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos and the effects are amazing. Very impressive. The set up was pretty straight forward, I wasnt a huge fan of the android system for the tv but now I've got used to it it's not bad. The app selection is good. Had no issues with Netflix or such apps. They all work and stream well in all formats 4k looks incredible, finished season 2 of lost in space which uses the Dolby Vision and wow incredible.Works well for gaming also. Had an issue originally when trying to play COD that the image didn't from properly but somehow I'd put screen display to the wrong setting so easy fix. Once sorted again very impressed. Another great feature is as I use the PS4 i can turn it on and use the TV remote with it, this is a great feature for playing DVDs/Blu Ray's. Overall best tv I've had. Used LG the last few times but for the price the features were much better on this TV, glad I made the change to Sony as the screen and especially the blacks are amazing for the price great TV.

I initially went in to look at the Samsung's QLED LG's Nanocell Technology. After a side by side comparison and a full look at the features added to the Sony Bravia I had made up my mind! Having had a Sony in the past which is still going after 15 years, I did not need too much convincing the Sony was the right TV for me. My old LG Smart TV has been great but all the HDMI inputs have fallen out if the back of the TV making it unusable (grrr!) and giving me doubt about LGs build quality... After looking at the brilliant Android operating system which enables installation of all the apps I use such as TV catch up applications, Kodi, NBA (perviously had to use a Chromecast to stream), Netflix,Prime etc... As it had prime and a build in ChromeCast, that freed me up two HDMIs and this TV has just really made things easier for our household with a great picture to boot! Happy Customer, great TV!! Only slight quibbles are accessing iPlayer, you seem to have to access via YouView which we don't use as we have a Sony HDD Recorder which upscales so bit of a pain, and the Ethernet keeps saying it's not connected where a restart fixes it... Hopefully just teething problems as had for one week now.

Had this for a couple of weeks now. The android software runs smooth and is snappy enough. The back-lit screen is nice and bright with even picture. The 4 corners do have a slight darker shade but this could be only my TV (have yet to contact Sony regarding this). The only issue I have is understanding the full spec, different websites say different things about the motionflow but its either 800hz or 1000hz which is good enough. The only thing to check is the apparent eARC hdmi port, awaiting my Dolby Atmost soundbar so will see how it works with the TV. The built-in sound is decent, louder than other models but as with most new flat screen TV's you'll want a soundbar for a cinema experience. As for kids and general TV shows the sound is more than enough. For a large TV this has all the requirement needed for general everyday use. And for the cost its worth it; as other TVs this size are a lot more expensive even though they have slightly higher tech screens - those screens are not necessary for everyday use in my opinion.

Just got this sony bravia, currently have a bravia XF75 witch is great but can be abit slow with the interfaces but that is due to being connected to the internet and only slows when updates are going off witch is to be expected. But with this new tv I was blown away, This product is even better. Better layout, faster loading screens, sharper picture, sound quility is better even down to the new remote layout. Easy to setup as always. All the ports you need for console pc's sound bars ECT. All round I'd definitely stick with Sony, I'd say my next t.v. would be sony as I appreciate the efforts they go into from the detail of the tv to the design down to the remote and functions with the capability to connect an android smart phone if needed. As it stands I'd say this tv is the best ive had by far and Sony has another satisfied customer. We bought this as we were due an upgrade from our 43" TV that had served us so well over 7 years. From 43" to 65" wow what a difference the screen size is. I was worried slightly as to if it would affect picture quality and colour but the difference is absolutely unbelievable... the design looks top class, a small thin bevel around the edge, the standby light under the tv that can be turned off or dimmed to preference. The tv was relatively easy to set up $from putting the legs on to registering it through google. Same experience as setting a mobile phone up. Great choice of apps when you do get it set up. The picture quality is that good I've taken to watching documentaries. The colours are unbelievable and you have the chance to change them from within the settings to make them more how you would want them. Very pleased overall and glad we chose this tv.

We bought this TV on a recommendation from a salesperson who waxed lyrical about the picture quality, which is top notch. They didn’t tell us about all the additional features that come with this TV like the voice activated search assistant (which is the absolute favourite feature for my kids). It has an inbuilt direct channel search function that takes either your satellite or cable input so we have ended the daily hunt for the numerous remote controls and can now channel hop with a single remote. Setting up the kid’s games consoles and our media storage was also a piece of cake, and with a handy input button you can flick between them all quickly and easily. All in all,we are delighted with our purchase and the TV (with its HD quality and features) is excellent value for money.

Delighted with this product. Crystal clear, vibrant picture with, frankly, astonishing motionflow (think that's what it's called) technology. Found myself revisiting favorite movies and been absolutely blown away by quality and smoothness. However, can't bring myself to give 5 stars for the following reasons - firstly, the record is completely non-fuctioning. Come on, Sony, how hard can this be to be able to record from youview? I bought a hard drive but it looks like it will sit empty for the life of this tv. Secondly, picture does wash out with viewing angle. I know that the technology and not entirely Sony's fault but it still surprised me. Finally - outputs!Sony is by no means alone in not supplying outputs but it seems so obvious to me to include some way to output A/V.

Responsive menus and fast startup. Great picture, smooth action even when gaming on PC.Support for HDR10 and DolbyVision is a plus.BUTYou will need a sound bar, the TV's sound is v.poor (to be fair this is a common problem across many brands) so factor this into your budget.Limited support for bluetooth devices means that even though the device will run "steamlink" to stream a PC to the TV from another room (at 4k 60fps) you can not connect a game controller without a wire.Limited options for attaching keyboard and mouse. This does work but with no sensitivity/cursor speed options my mouse needed to move nearly 2 meters to move the cursor from one site of the screen to the other.Mostly greatbut be aware of its limitations if they matter to you.

While I love the picture and the spec. To date I have had to reset my Sony Television to factory settings three times - the first reset I did because I could not search the web without the Sony browser telling me I couldn't reach these sites, and that was just searching for information. The second reset left me with subtitles I could not remove following all the right steps. Since the third reset so far so good, except every time I turn off my television at the plug, my sound bar won't work for me, even though it is on and properly set up. But other than that, the picture is magnificent. The sound could be better for such a great picture and that is why I find the sony soundbar such a great asset, but not when I again can't seem to get it working properly.

Bought this a couple of weeks ago and have been watching lots of Movies, series and football since. Great picture which flows brilliantly with fast moving action and is superb for nature programmes, showing details I never noticed on our previous tv. It switches on really quickly and is really easy to control when switching between inputs. The colours and contrast are fantastic and realistic unlike some other manufacturers TVs which I found too colourful and bright. The sound is good for a flat screen tv too, reasonable bass and great clarity of voices etc. It comes with built in apps which are easy to access and use. The remote control is of a non directional type so you don’t even have to point it at the tv for it to work. All my friends want one!

Pleased with purchase.Everything works as should.HD picture good.4K perfect as expected.SD poor as expected.A fair bit of experimenting with picture settings needed to obtain an overall " one fits all " consistent quality picture for watching differing types of programmes, but you do have an incredible range of settings available to make adjustments to tailor the picture exactly to your preference,Tried enabling the automatic picture control setting which automatically changes parameters according to the type of content switched to, but found this feature to make unsuitable alterations so left disabled.Overall a great TV for price bracket.External Soundbar with sub woofer or equivelent is needed to get full rich immersive sound.

Was on the market for a new TV and had an open mind to brands. What sold the Bravia to me was the extended features, specifically it being based on an Android Operating System. This is a massive plus as I was able to download and install extra features from the play store. The TV itself is very fast at switching between Apps and when playing games the Frame rate rarely drops. Setting up was a breeze too. It has Bluetooth, meaning I can very easily connect my Headphones and listen to Spotify! Speaking of which, it was so easy to transfer my Spotify profile over too! in built WIFI and Chromecast is a big selling point - It connects so quickly to my home network.Would highly recommend this as a mid range purchase which should last you 5-10 years.
