Our last television was one of the last of the Non-Smart generations, but served us well. I avoided Smart TVs because I always felt they were clunky and slow - but we wanted to upgrade to 4k UHD, so it was time to look at an upgrade. The Q80T had a lot of good reviews, and seemed to suggest a very good Value for Money vs. Quality ratio. For a while it was a toss up between last year's model, and the 2020 version. This was definitely a solid choice! The picture quality of the Q80T is fantastic. Very crisp and bright. We have a naturally bright living space, so the variable brightness feature is a great help and addition. Sometimes I'd argue the picture is *too* good - fantasy worlds now look a tad too realistic to be fantasy.Not a complaint, just an observation. Intelligent Mode makes this TV shine. The only time I really switch off Intelligent Mode is when I am using the TV for gaming, and there's an easy On Off to gaming mode from the front screen. Sound quality is exceptional. We are in a relatively small space, but even then our last TV could be up in the 30s and 40s and still seem too quiet. With only the TVs own speakers I've watched shows or played games at 10-15 and heard everything with perfect clarity. The two remotes were a clever choice. The Bluetooth remote does most of what you need, without being bogged down with too many buttons. Still having a Netflix and Prime Video button for instant access to these services on such a minimalistic remote was a good choice. When it comes to tech, my partner quite often finds himself clueless. So if I was to rate the User Friendliness of the TVs smart features, I'd use him as a baseline. He got it from day one, and manages without a sudden panic of what he should do to work it. I mentioned previously about Smart TVs always seeming clunky to me, so I'll add that this TV doesn't suffer the same issue. It reacts quickly, and everything is easily accessible from the front screen with minimal tweaking. Ambient Mode is a lovely addition too - the only thing missing is a fireplace option. This TV was definitely the right choice for us, and was exceptional value for money. We will definitely be sticking with Samsung going forward if the quality continues to soar.

I love my new TV simply because it's an upgrade to the first smart TV I bought years ago, the first of its kind from Samsung too. Although I'm not very technically well versed when it comes to such toys but I can see why the price tag is what it was, the colours do adjust according to the quality of a video or whatever it is my watching. So if watching YouTube and the video is in 1080p, the TV adjusts accordingly, it's brilliant! I love how clear and crisp the built in TV speakers are, since I have it set up for surround sound, I can certainly hear it when a movie calls for it. Sometimes I'm paranoid my TV sound is louder than it is when it's late in the evening and into the night but when I leave my room,it's not really that loud! If I'm watching normal freeview channels and the quality isn't HD, I can certainly tell the difference but unfortunately not all freeview channels are available in HD. I've got a ps4 plugged into it and it automatically changes into game mode when it recognises that the ps4 is switched on. The features the TV comes with, the installed apps looe Netflix and YouTube plus other things are easy enough to use. The new Rakuten TV with preinstalled channels are a bit on the temperamental side but doesn't devalue how good my TV is. Love the fact I can also switch the TV on using my Samsung phone through the smar things app! Totally happy with my purchase. I also bought the soundbar with wireless subwoofer as part of a bundle and this definitely enhances my TV sound on the way it's meant to. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is interested!

I bought this tv just over a week ago late one Friday afternoon and it was delivered 4 days later just after the crack of dawn. It is truly an absolutely fantastic television set. I didn’t need a new tv but I wanted something that, when I’m watching movies I feel like I’m sat in the cinema, a screen and sound quality that I can fully immerse myself into, and boy, does this tv do that! I got it for a fantastic price with free and efficient delivery, compared to other options I had anyway. it does everything it says on the tin and more. It exceeded my expectations and it’s so easy to use yet so smart at the same time. Our front room is about 15 sqm and it’s the perfect size,even the 55” version I think would of been to big and I upgraded from a 39”. If you’re considering this tv then, in my own opinion, stop considering and but it. You won’t be disappointed!

Allways had Samsung television sets. I have only had a breif while to test this television but have tried both blu ray playback and gaming. Picture from this qled is so much more vibrant than my previous older unit. Being a smart TV it has all your usual catch up services etc built in. Granted its only a 60hz panel where as I believe the 55inch version uses 120hz but I really can't see no difference. Also tried 120hz on my phone display and was the same. Has a built in gaming mode which does some wizardry. Using a xbox one x and looks fantastic so I cant complain. For the area and space 49 inch is just the perfect size neither too big or too small.In relation to Very they had the best price and considering everything whats still going on with Covid 19 delivery was on time and as described arriving at given timeslot by there chosen courier.

Decided to upgrade during lockdown as feel a good tv is going to be an essential from now on. Bought online which I wouldn’t normally do but I couldn’t be more pleased with my choice. Set up was simplicity in itself, the features, the apps, the ambient mood feature superb. Connections to other devices no problem. Great clarity in the picture and amazing colours. All in all a great tv and Samsung never lets you down.

Hands down the best tv on the market, it offers an experiance that i have never seen in a tv. the way it changes from film to sports and captures light is just magical. I Am a film fan and it generally feels like cinema quality with basically no motion blur the tv is that good i am buying its big brother the q90r. i would highly recommend this tv and the Qled range.

I bought this TV for gaming and having it ready for the PS5, it it having game mode and the ability to have 120fps on 4K. And I have to say it holds up. Picture quality is amazing and the fact it just switches to game mode as soon and my PlayStation is on it great. It’s also go game motion plus, just to make you be able to enhance it more. It’s a perfect Tv

While 4K content is still relatively scarce on streaming services, this TV does an amazing job of upscaling HD content to 4k. It is not the same as playing 4K content, but still leaps and bounds above the HD quality. Of course, the features are brilliant, as expected from Samsung, but the quality of the upscaling puts this TV above all the rest.

I had a bit of help when it came to unpacking this TV and also when installing. After playing around with the settings to get to know this new TV, I must say that it delivers what this TV was made for. I'm not technically knowledgeable when it comes to items like this but so far so good. I feel it's a money well spent.

After reading reviews and watching comparisons videos I finally purchased the Q80T 65 and its stunning picture hasn't disappointed. Easy to use interface and set up was a breeze using the Smart App from my phone. Sound quality is also excellent and I would strongly recommend this TV

I have only had this a couple of days but the picture quality is amazing. The Smart TV menu takes getting used to but if you use Samsung SmartThings the process is very simple. The sound quality is also very good but if you want a cinematic experience then get a sound bar

Congrats to Samsung produced stunning midrange qled TV that got me t ok choose over LG and SONY.Stunning image and sound built in. Sharp and precise colour and amazing operating system. Very quick and responsive. Contrast just amazing. Buy it then believe it

Super awesome TV. Bought in readiness for PS5 later this year, but makes current PS4 HDR games look so much better!Great upscaling. A little too bright, so needs dialing down in the settings. Cinema mode produces the most natural colours.

Watched the reruns of Glastonbury - images just stunning. Easy to access non TV channels and guide for tv channels is much quicker than old tv. The images of films too have more depth and clarity so there is more detail to enjoy. Great product!

I haven't had a television for over 20 years (yeah, I know.....). I was dreading setting it up and working out how to use the controls. In fact it was simple, the on screen assistance was excellent and it was up and running in no time at all.
