Before buying this amp I thought 5W is not powerful enough to support in the street performing. However, this amp actually perfect for street performace! It is powerful, as in its voloume, functions and it's good that it supports line in; vocal and guitar all at the same time!I would 100% recommand this amp to anyone who's looking for a street performance (i.e. busking), and up to audiance around 40.Also, I notice many street amp doesn't support Acoustic guitar, but this one does! (unless you going for AER amp which cost like £500+) There's a built in function for acoustic guitar, but I prefer using the electric clean sound due to the pick up on my acoustic doesn't fit well with the amp acoustic setting. But that's works perfectly!Battery life is good, I still haven't had a time running out of battery during my performance yet (usually 2 hours).Overall rating is very good from me on this amp!.Good seller as well, very quick, speedy delivery - 5 days earlier than the esitimated date! (I live in the UK, not sure about other countries for delivery time)Good stuff!E

I ordered this amp after much consideration. I felt it suited my needs. I had seen this many times used by buskers (due to it being run on batteries if wanted) and performers in almost impromptu situations and the like. This can plug two instruments in, most commonly acoustic guitar and microphone. It has one section primarily based around mic input with some effects like delay, and my personal favourite - reverb. Reverb effect on the mic makes vocals sound studio recorded (as studio tracks often add slight reverb to tracks when mastering audio). I love this real time reverb. Also the instrument track (which I've only used relative to my guitar as of yet)has many effects and volume dial which goes surprisingly loud compared to how big the amp itself is. I cannot wait to use this amazing amplifier and cannot recommend it enough. The price might seem daunting for a 10w amp but for what you get out of it, you can't go wrong.

The light-weight Roland Street Cube amplifier is the right tool for the job. Six AA batteries provided enough power for my Martin acoustic guitar and microphone for a two hour gig on a pub lawn and a following evening gig where I miked the Steet Cube through the house PA system. The batteries are still going strong. The two channels (microphone and guitar inputs have all the effects a git/voc performer will need in the way of effects, and, at a few ponds in weight, I can carry it one-handed without getting a hernia. If stars are the criteria then I can award it all five!Roland Cube Street battery powered stereo amp (Red)

Does great with acoustic guitar (Taylor ES2) and vocals (Sennheiser), once properly eq'd - mids virtually completely off (just a smidgen off all the way to the left), helps significantly with acoustic guitar on the specific 'Acoustic' setting. Just upgraded the stock speakers to Jensen Mod 4 ohm 8/20's - to my ear, this has immediately, greatly improved the sound on this already good sounding amp.For a 'street' amp, it is a DISGRACE that Roland want ANOTHER £50 for the case / cover / carrier. Outrageousmark-up on this item, that they know a lot of people are going to look for due to the nature of the amp?

We love this amazing Roland Street Cube Amp and our sons guitar playing sounds really really good through it when he uses some of the many on board sound effects. We also bought the Stagg SDM90 Professional Cardioid Dynamic Microphone (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0133GHX7K/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) which is the perfect companion for this Amp and provided a lot of 'Karaoke' fun at Christmas! This is a very versitile little Amp which looks and sounds great.Happy to HIGHLY recommended this Amp. It is definitely the best buy this year!

I had the original street cube and was very impressed I bought this when it first came out to compete with the endless stream of karaoke singers taking to the street, it has plenty of volume, I would have liked a few more upgrades to the vocal channel a separate delay firstly and to be really cheeky perhaps a separate chorus also, I did find the addition of a three band eq much to my satisfaction it really does offer a wider variety of settings useful for cover songs, overall quite content, but think a little more for your money could be expected

Best amp in the business for busking and small venues, all the necessary effects you need on an amp and separate channels keeps everything in perspective. Using the reverb with my Boss VE1 vocal pedal sounded so full and made such a big impact to my performance. I like the fact you can plug in XLR or normal jack mics too.For a 5 watt amp it really is powerful and loud, I have to turn it down at least half in the shopping centre its that loud. I've tried a few busking amps but this one is the tops so far.

This amp is fantastic, I have used it for busking twice now and am yet to see the extent of battery life. Although it is fairly expensive (the deal was I busk to earn it) the quality is great. The acoustic setting for guitar is perfect and I would recommend it not just as a street amp but for any occasion/gig. There are 2 inputs so you can have both guitar and mic. So pleased with this!!

I ordered this little amplifier yesterday morning from Devon and Mann's Music delivered it today from Essex! The service is amazing!I tried the amp as soon as I could get it out of the box and it sounds wonderful. The vocal input is sharp and clear and the reverb works great. This should be perfect for small acoustic gigs and busking! Can't wait.

1st class product..I was pretty impressed as to how loud it can be...haven't used it in the street but at home at 3/4 volume is enough to annoy the neighbours.Build quality is amazing....all and all a perfect speaker to jam along with friends or do a solo or even practice quietly with headphones...Thanks to Amazon for quick delivery.

Versatile and brilliant all round. Replaced stock speakers with Jensen MOD 20 - 8s (4 ohms) and was knocked out by the result. Loud with crisp highs, warm lows and loads of presence. Has stereo out so, if you want even more volume you can always run it into a PA and keep your sound the way you like it.

Seriously the greatest portable amp of all time. The volume and tone are stupendous for such a tiny piece of kit. So in love with mine was I, I ended up buying 2 more for our band so now we can play unplugged with out own customisable "PA" wherever we go :)

This is the buskers dream amp. Certainly worth every penny. I purchased a spare battery box directly from Roland UK, for the purpose of a quick change of batteries, should it be required in the middle of a session. An excellent piece of equipment.

Yes a great bit of kit, good sound and effects. Sturdy and traditionally easy to use. Is it me but the whole control panel is upside down? I will use it in front of me or to the side to avoid feedback but the controls are all upside down.

So I mainly bought this for the battery and portability features and I definitely haven't been let down.its a busking default for a reason. sounds good, it's a great little device. I put through a rc-3 and ve-2 with a mic and a ukulele.
