I did a lot of online research before buying this amp. There are a lot of contenders for a small solid state amp, but this edged it for me as it offers so much more than the competition. It's not the smallest, the lightest or the cheapest, but it is definitely the most feauture laden. It is not complicated, and the sounds straight out of the box are fantastic. When I tried this amp out in the shop a few people commented on the sound and were suprised when it turned out to be this amp. If you like Fender amps in general you will love this amp and it does represent good value for money even buying the not included footswitch. I am really enjoying this amp :)

Seems great to me, only slight issue is a bit of latency when using it to play YouTube videos from my phone. But within 10 mins I had downloaded presets for van halen sound, Gary Moore sound etc etc and they sound very close to my beginner ears, without buying loads of different gear and pedals etc. Hoping for another firmware update to fix the latency.

I've had a bunch of amps, large, small, combos, tubes... all sorts...This is the best of them all by a long way. Feature rich and a great set of sounds you can achieve with it. And small scale is perfect for my little flat.If you're wondering if the footswitch is worth the extra, it definitely is...

I bought this after a fair bit of research, for a practice amp. I have to say I'm delighted with my choice. Small and light, but still packs a punch. The included effects and different amp simulations are a great bonus.

Saw a few negative reviews on YouTube and the net about this amp but I love it . You should just try it for yourself. The only downside is you really need to get the matching pedal to make the most of all its features.

Obviously you did your research and you get what you need.GT 40 is great.I got it for my daughter as it's future proof (so to say)... She absolutely loves it ! Fast and secure delivery. 5 stars all the way!!!
