Excellent practice amp with two overdrive channels and clean and crunch, gain, reverb and FX. The amp also has an input for a music player, so you'll be able to play along with your favourite tunes and there are headphone and footswitch inputs. This Marshall 30 watt amp packs a lot into a relatively small package and packs quite a hefty punch when all of those watts are unleashed. This is a surprisingly civilized sounding amplifier compared to my other practice amp - a fourteen-year-old Fender Champion 300 - and the effects are relatively subtle. For example, switching to gain on the Fender amp is a frightening experience as buzz-saw sonics ensue - excellent!

The M15GFX is compact amp, just plug guitar in, controls are small and FX settings sensitive, this amp replaces a Blackstar ID40 which by comparison seemed fiddly to set up. No buzzing or background noise, more expensive than other 15 Watt amps but well built.
