Excellent game. Really engaging way to exercise been playing for a couple of months on my partners and I've got myself my own I've enjoyed it so much. The adventure itself is really good and is getting harder as I go along. Only problem is I sometimes get sidetracked and don't end up exercising as much as I intended. But if you want to exercise while having some fun i really reccomend it but do be patient at the beginning as it does get harder as the game progresses but you can set your own difficulty which is great. I have tried it on quiet mode as I was getting up early however it is really hard as you do mini squats to move instead of jogging on the spot. It's not to bad until you have to run fast to get somewhere you're knackered 2 minutes in! My partner has also loved this he's a gamer and definitely not someone who exercises but this has got him up and moving and keeping at it which is great. I highly recommend this game, but maybe not for more than the RRP.Read full review...

Great work out game which genuinely provides a full workout with what initially seems to be a couple of quite easy exercises. However the ring is quite deceptive and actually has a lot of resistance and provides some really quite challenging workouts on the high settings and you also get some beautiful Zeldaesque type graphics to look at to boot. The only potential criticism I can see is that there aren't any rewards for the gaming enthusiasts to unlock as you play more. So, you have to want to get fit which is fine as we want to work out but aren't near a gym and this makes it fun enough but, the lack of long term unlockable rewards probably won't work for everyone.

I bought this for my son who has loved using this. Its like a story to follow where you have to defeat a demon type monster by exercising and completing physical tasks to beat his minions and eventually him. There are many different tasks and so works all the body and you work up to earning more and more exercises.I have used it myself as well and have been enjoying it.I would say its great for exercise and good value for money compared to going to a gym. If you don't want to exercise in view of others it's great.

Absolutely amazing for me. I don't really leave my house or workout but I love gaming. This is amazing for me, it's a really good workout and gives me that gaming incentive to workout, it's not much in terms for giving you muscle but it's a massive improvement for stamina, I can feel a huge change in how much I can workout one after 5 sessions of about 20 minutes (workout time) with some days off in-between. It has also given me the incentive to eat healthier (smoothies and low fat food). GET it

I bought this to encourage/force me to do some exercise during lockdown to avoid the WFH belly. I have been impressed with how challenging it has been - for a video game it can give you a decent workout and I am usually dripping with sweat when I've finished. I consider myself relatively fit, playing sport 3-4 a week normally so this has been good to help maintain/improve my fitness levels. As I use it most days it will be interesting to see how the ring and leg strap hold up but so far, so good

Purchased to motivate both myself & hubby to exercise on daily basis and this is a fun way to do that, as the characters gee you on. As we are not particularly very techie found it frustrating to start working out as no written instructions, they assume you will know this.Amount of exercises to target body. Will Nintendo bring out another game with more exercises eventually although enough to keep you going for awhile. You can also play on the adventure game taking you through various 'worlds'

I bought this to engage my two teenage sons in some form of physical exercise whilst we are in lockdown and it has not disappointed. The level of exercise can be set for individual players and the mix of gaming with physical activity is the perfect balance. My thirteen year old son said he was so involved in the adventure he forgot he was exercising. The desire to move through levels keeps them exercising longer than they would with a YouTube exercise routine. It’s a hit with the whole family!

Great little exercise game for the other half. My wife has been enjoying it and her ring has definitely taken a battering without feeling like its going to break. Its really sturdy and up to the job with just the right amount of resistance. Easy to get a sweat on when really going for it and you can unlock new positions as you get better more experienced to work you even harder. If you fancy a change from the main game there are lots of mini games you can play to use the ring in other ways.

Finally managed to get a hold of this game, it’s easy enough to set up and get going, the ring looks well made and sturdy, played it and have enjoyed the process, it will get you up and off your sofa and it can get you warm and sweaty if you put the effort in, but it’s great fun and I do like these kind of interactive games much like the wii balance board some time back, so from me it’s a thumbs up! Well done Argos for not price hiking during these COVID times! BTW staff in store were great!

I bought this game as I am currently on maternity leave and being unable to leave my son to go to the gym I thoight this might help. There are different modes depending on your fitness level and the ability to set an alarm to remind you to do your daily exercise. I do half an hour a day which is a good way of keeping my fitness level up and i can also pause and come back to it if the baby needs me. Doesnt work as well as the gym but would definitely recommend if you can't go out to exercise.

Brought for rainy days stuck indoors to up mix the running and cycling.Great fun, the game, mini workouts, even create your own session! Can adjust to what you feel you need or want to do.Hasnt gone down with the kids too well, not even interested I would say its more towards grownups.Even educates & teaches the simplest of things, stretching, warm ups, diet etc.Sounds expensive (not if you have another set already) is get hold of another set of joy cons so your not swapping a lot.

Great product, improved my muscles after a few days and I have never paid to use a gym. Good for both short & long periods of exercise. Worth every penny! All fabrics detachable and washable. Very robust electronic ring - no breakages or dents in it yet, and it has been sat on, left on the floor and dropped countless times. Works around you in regards to time and strength for exercises. 100% improvement from the WiiFit. Only do what you feel you can do, never exert yourself & keep hydrated.

I have not ever wanted the kids to be playing computer games, but the Ring Fit has changed my thoughts. Instead of the kids sitting fixed to another screen, as a family we are up and moving without even realising how much for we are getting. The mini games have created a family competition to climb the ladder boards, whilst the adventure section is great for a single player. Even after a month we are still finding new games and challenges. Intensity is set for each player for fairness.

I’ve always been sceptical of fitness games, but this year I wanted to get fit, and after getting bored of the Switch boxing game (after a five month streak!), decided to take a chance on Ring Fit.Now I wish I’d taken a chance on this far sooner!Yes, the story is cheesy, but it’s fun and keeps you engaged. You tailor it to your limits, and it does well to keep you motivated and going. Give it your all, you’ll walk away feeling like you’ve been at the gym every time.A must have!

Positive + Really good funPositive + Really effective exercises and detection of what you're doingPositive + Provides a proper and surprisingly varied workout in very little spacePositive + Great on-screen instructions and coaching, really easy to usePositive + Flexible; calibrates itself for different ages and strengthsOpportunity - The story and videos are at young children level and quite annoying, inclusion of a grown up (or just less intrusive) version would have been nice.
