This game will probably divide your entire family into bitterly competing rivals.Monopoly, as is tradition, will cause war between family members and friends.I played this with my wife for the first time and the game lasted almost 2 hours but once you know the controls and how to complete trades, things go much faster.Note: You don't have to do it in 1 sitting. You can continue games at any later stage as the game can save up to 3 game instances.The game is priced really well, very similar to the actual board game which is a big plus from me (and of course doesn't take as much storage space or organization when setting everything up).Property management options (mortgaging properties/buying houses or hotels)

Pretty decent version of the game Monopoly. There are some issues in that the game speed is very slow if playing with AI, due to the length of Monopoly the games the UI and movements could do with being quicker, or at least have the option to speed everything up. Oner more note on the AI. It's pretty poor on any difficulty and makes some very illogical calls. To this day I think the best version of Monopoly is the Westwood Windows 95 version, but the good news is this effort is as close to a decent version of Monopoly as I've seen since.The initial loading issue is indeed currently a small issue but a full system restart and you'll be fine. Ubisoft are working on a patch for this,

Received on release day but hadn't really played it until now.Like others I had issues with the loading screen- I wasn't aware of a bug as I hadn't read any reviews.....So I used my common sense and thought to myself.....hmmmmmm first I'll try turning it off, then turning it back on again and see how it goes??After that the game loaded flawlessly.I haven't played the multiple player mode yet- I just played against the computer in the 3D worlds and so far I'm enjoying it.It's not a difficult game- it's there to enjoy and pass the time- it's far from perfect- but it's a nice game when you just want to relax and not have to think too much.

I also had the slow loading problem which took so long but i had a look online and found that once you have the game inserted into the Switch and the day one update complete just hard reset the system by holding down the power button for quite a few seconds this will power down the Nintendo Switch (not sleep mode) then power it back up again and you will find the long loading times fixed :-) Yes not great and i hope they patch it soon. So anyway im now enjoying the Monopoly game so can now give it four stars.

This is still a classic Monopoly game, by digitise It, now offering more option of play setup. You can choose different rule to play the game, it even tells you how long you would expected to play a game in every RULE setup (35min, 45min, etc.), gave you control of how long you want to play a game.To be honest, until I see the RULE setup option shows how can you play the game. i did not know i can play Monopoly that way!!! For those of you who get long load screen when starting the game, just turn the switch off (hold the power button down then select the option to turn off) then turn it on again. Load times when starting the game should be normal now. (No idea what causes that though)As for the game the visuals are great, haven't really played into it much yet though.This is my second digital version of Monopoly, first being on Android.I usually play the actual Monopoly board games

I wanted to buy a game of monopoly to play durring lock down to keep my son occupied. He suggested the ninentedo switch version. I was not keen on the idea but I bought it. The on line game version is brilliant, I'm so pleased my son told me to buy this game. We have had hours of fun playing the game and I'm pleased I chose the technology over the game board. You must have monopoly in your gaming collection, it's awesome.

Monopoly on the Nintendo Switch is a good game - however it does make you sit through some of the animations such as watching other players (computer controlled) play every little bit of their turn, this could be improved with a skip function but on the whole it's a strong game and is faithful to the original game.Don't worry if you don't like the 'living' boards either, as you can play on a classic board if you want.

All the negative reviews are focussing on the loading times. There’s been a fix from day one, as other reviewers have mentioned. The loading times are fine.There are also negative reviews from people who don’t like Monopoly. Well duh. If you don’t like Monopoly, you won’t like this because it’s, well, Monopoly. If you DO like Monopoly, though - guess what! It’s great!

It's Monopoly, Good portable version of the game, Online play can be frustrating due to people leaving mid game. If your lucky enough to get a good group, then it's brilliant. Find myself getting frustrated and end up playing with AI, which isn't quite as fun. Local multiplayer is very good though when you can't be bothered pulling the board out.

If you like Monopoly, you'll like this game. It's basically the same version as on Ps4 and Xbox One. It plays well and looks great. You get a choice of three different themed 3D boards and two different 2D themed boards. There are lots of different play methods and a quick play feature if you don't want to be in it for the long haul.

Exactly the same rules as the board game so if you like that you'll like this, just made a little more fun by being able to play it virtually on the Tv via the switch, only thing I would warn is don’t be filled by the “quick game” option it still took 2 1/2 hours to complete with 4 of us playing.

The game plays well and is a perfect game for all the family with plenty of rule customisation, which can make a single game be over quicker. But you don’t need me to review Monopoly I’m sure you have all played it before and are well away of it’s infamy in causing family anger and arguments.

very good game I enjoy has many games of skill from simple and fun to hard and high risk count what you enjoy. it has many diffount board and style of play set to find fun in the game of risk I like this game and great with multi players setting or by your self at play lots of fun.

Intitial start up is around 10 minutes, so advanced set up is advised. Once that's done, and returning to it, even after playing another game, seems to boot up straight away (as fast as any other like MarioKart). Excellent game with really super graphics, very playable.
