There are cheaper, but these are the only ones I buy now (other sizes as well).The only problem was my fault. I measured the clearance between carpet and the underside of the bed.What I omitted was the fact that when the bed, with castors, sits on the carpet and underlay, it sinks, so the box wouldn't go under. It wouldn't matter on a hard surface like laminate. The answer was simple, just added some 9-mm PVC spacers between the bed-leg and the castor and all is well.Nice size for all the socks and undies, sheets, whatever. Five of these fit nicely under a standard double bed.4-stars for sturdiness, because with a bit of effort, you can break bits off.

I love these boxes; I have bought a large number in the various sizes because they stack safely and properly, and they stay closed once they the lids are on. I have spent the last few weeks re-organising the room I sew in, and having been shielding since March, I have save a great deal of money, and I have chosen to spend some of it on these boxes. I would recommend them to anyone. I have got rid of all the cheap grotty boxes which didnt stack.

I have been using three of these, two stacked on a wardrobe and one in an ottoman bed to store clothes. So far they seem extremely sturdy and well made, providing moth proof storage for linens and clothing, I will most likely be purchasing further storage boxes in the range, as they do appear to be good value for the quality.

I bought this as it said it takes 186 cds - it doesn’t, it takes 144 with some space left over as it’s not really the right size. However it does take 75 dvds quite well (not 44 as in the description), so all’s we’ll that ends well! Only complaint is they are very expensive.

ordered this as needed something to use as storage for bags erc this was perfect for putting bags, linen in.Great size perfect to fit under the bed in fact was so happy i bought a couple more highly recommend

I have quite a few crates, i only buy this make now, its the only one you can relyably stack. These are more expensive, but dont buckle or break easy, i have had some for 6 years that are still going strong

This box is really strong and is a good size for slipping under the bed. It holds quite a lot for its size and is currently holding my collection of photos. I am really pleased with it. Just what I needed.

I use a lot of these for storing built plastic models. They are strong, stack-able & when closed - dust proof! We also use them for under bed storage of clothes & things for the same reason.

I have around 1000 Really Useful Boxes in all sizes and can honestly say, they simple are the best. This is the first of this size i have purchased and they are ideal for underbed storage.

These boxes are always great quality and with such size and format varieties they're perfect. I bought this one in specific for messy play with my toddler and it's ideal.

A little less deep than some boxes which is what I needed to fit under my bed. These are very good quality sturdy boxes and the lockable handles work well.

The Really Useful product itself is brilliant, hence 5*.The only issue I have was that the box had dirty water stains on it. Luckily they cleaned off.
