It's funny how fashion repeats itself. This style was the rage in the 60's when the ultimate hipsters wore them. Of course they had the totally round frames back then. These new lenses are a brilliant update from the classic round lenses. They oval taper slightly on top giving a really unique look. The bridge gap between the lenses is a wide 21 mm, so these fit comfortably if you have a thicker nose. The gold frames really set these off well and the crystal glass gives comfort and quality. The field of vision is almost as good as the Aviator lenses, so you won't have your eyeballs rotating to find the open areas around the frame edges. Get them in polarized for extra protection and you will stand out from the crowd with these retro-cool shades.

I tried these on at the store and automatically fell in love. I already adore the round-sunglasses look, but the pink (copper) color made them even better. It's such a classic yet modern look and they are definitely unique. These sunglasses are not for everyone though. Not everyone can pull off the round shape, and the reflective (flash) feature on them makes it a little harder to wear, but I enjoy the fact that no one can look through my glasses. This was a great buy, but try them on at the store before you buy it online. I also believe these glasses only come in the standard size, so if you have a larger or wider face, I recommend buying different sunglasses like the Erikas.

Overall, I love these. They are a little bit wide for my face but that's a me problem not a sunglasses problem. Comfort is great, and shape is great.The lilac mirror finish is super cool, but the only reason I did not give five stars is because they already have a small scratch and I've only had them for 5 days. Friends warned me that mirror finish is hard to keep pristine, so I was VERY careful with them and never set them down if they weren't in their case. Have no idea how they got scratched, and a little bummed that the lens surface is not more scratch resistant.

I owned a pair of these Raybans in the '70's and was thrilled when I heard that Rayban was re-issued these classic frames! John Lennon may have made them famous but they were already uber-cool! The teen-something clerk at SGH described them as "the next BIG thing" when I was trying them on. I just smirked at him and said, "Oh honey... these were the next big thing when long before you were even an EGG!" I don't think he got it. Oh well, they are still uber-cool. We can only hope that one day, the younger folks will understand that everything old is new again!

I've been wanting this pair of shades for over a year now and finally had a chance to get them a few weeks ago! I think the flash lens works much better on the RayBan rounds than the aviator version. In person the lens color very saturated and VERY red compared to what you see on the website! its perfect. Since I've worn them out and about, I've received many compliments and inquiries about where to find them [this style/color is hard to come by in stores, not sure why] so I sent them to rayban.com! These will definitely turn heads for all the right reasons.

After losing a pair of Polarized New Wayfarers a couple years ago, I finally got enough courage to buy another pair of RayBans. I love these glasses. I was deciding between a pair of clubmasters and these, and I chose to go with these as not many people have these and they definitely make a statement, if you can pull them off. The quality is great as always, and I love the polarization which is a must have from Ray Ban. I've received many compliments and can't wait to continue wearing them when the sun is shining. Hopefully I don't lose these!

I have a few other pairs of Ray-Bans, and these are my hands down favorite; all others have been retired since buying these. They have an edgy, sophisticated look to them that make them very fun to wear. The only reservation I had before buying them was that the frame is a bit thin. I was concerned I was going to ruin them, all my other glasses I've always just thrown in my pocket when I'm not wearing them. With these though, I have made sure to keep them in the case when carrying around and not being worn. Other than that, I am in love.

I've had these for about a year now and I'm still not over how great they are. They are so thin and dainty but they literally could not be more of a statement piece. I never have issues with clashing outfits because they somehow go with everything. I'm very pale with brown hair and usually stay away from golds but something about the copper paired with the gold is just warm enough without washing me out. I totally assume a different personality when I wear these. If you are even considering splurging on these, do it. So worth it.

I bought these as a gift for my little sister's18th birthday... she LOVED them! [she mentioned she wanted this pair, but still] She loved them so much she wore them right away...and it was dark out! ; ) She has a rounder face, but they look great on her! She was concerned they might not look good on, but she was wrong & she wears them all the time!!I've bought many pairs of RayBan sunglasses in the past for myself and as gifts and I've never been disappointed. Great quality and they'll really last if you take care of them.

I saw these frames when they first came out. It took me at least another year til I was able to sport them. While it does have traces of the John Lennon shades of the 60's, it is definitely a unique look for anyone. You need to have the confidence to rock something like these. It's not as extravagant as oversized wayfarers or onassis glasses but but it is a bold choice. The gold frame/ polarized did not suit me as well as the gunmetal. I used them in a photoshoot for my upcoming ep. I attached the photo to this review.

I bought these glasses a couple weeks ago after months of debating with myself. I had always intended to splurge on a good pair of sunglasses but was unsure of which style to choose--all I was sure about was that any good pair of sunglasses that I bought had to be a classic Ray-Ban style. I am so happy with this purchase, my only regret is not buying these sooner. This style makes me feel cool without trying too hard. These sunglasses feel sturdy and durable and match any outfit. Highly recommend!

As silly as it is that sunglasses can make us feel so so unbelievably cool, this pair of sunglasses brings a coolness second to none. I agree with the first review on the list though that with the shape and pink/gold combo, not just anyone can pull it off and reach maximum coolness. I feel lucky, but at the same time I look so goofy in sooo many other sunglasses that I don't feel bad "bragging" about it :) -- Seriously, though, the second I put these on, I had to have them. HAD TO HAVE THEM!!

I BOUGHT THESE IN THE COPPER FLASH COLOR. IF YOUR LOOKING FOR MORE OF A GOLD ON GOLD COLOR THIS IS IT. I WAS SCARED TO PICK THIS COLOR I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE MORE BROWN. BUT ITS GOLD. IM HAPPY WITH THE SIZE OF THE LENS ITS NOT TO BIG. THE LENS IS NOT EXTREMELY ROUND IN SHAPE ITS KIND OF OVAL. THE GLASSES ARE VERY LIGHT AND THE FRAMES ARE VERY THIN. THIS SITE HAS EXTREMELY FAST SHIPPING I ORDERED MY GLASSES ON THURSDAY MORNING AND THEY WERE AT MY DOOR THE NEXT DAY WHEN I CAME HOME FROM WORK.

I've truly enjoyed this pair of sun glasses. The style is unique (round / John Lennon type of look). The (glass) lenses are a rose color. Although light by shade, they've adequately protected my eyes from the California sun and Michigan / Connecticut snow. I like that I can wear them indoors and it not seem odd to be doing so. They're durable for a wire frame. Have had them two plus years. A lot of complements. Not a look for everyone. If you can carry it off, definitely worth having.

I literally get compliments like, "Wow!" and, "Love your sunglasses," each and every time I wear these. They're a perfect size and fit for my somewhat narrow face, and the color is like a summer sky. Fabulous glasses. The only problem I've had is a couple little pinhole spots where the blue/mirror has flaked off on the lenses. I've had these over a year. The nose pads leave marks on my nose regardless of where/how I position them, but the marks don't last long.
