I've been a Ratchet and Clank fan since the first game was released, and have been waiting for this game to be released on PS2 for a while now.The gameplay is classic Ratchet and Clank, with levels spread across the galaxy. Levels involve little mini games, such as a Giant Clank flying through space, where you ust shoot anything in his path, the classic grind rail sections, and the hover board racing. As with the other games in this series there are plenty of weapons and gadgets to choose from too.The only thing that disapointed me was that the game wasn't as magical as the first 3 on the PS2, even though the gameplay is the same. The fact is that the game was made for the PSP and lacks graphic power, durability and story. Ontop of this the game wasn't developed by Insomniac. The game is still worth a buy as there are plenty of new ideas thrown in and it is one of the best games on the PS2 in recent years.

Ok Lets get one thing straight, I am a hardened RnC jedi and was very happy to see this lil beaut come onto Ps2 after I'd completed it on Psp several times (FANTASTIC GAME bit short though.......)After playing Ps2 version I was saddened to see that its basically just a stretched to fit tv screen version aof this game. Obviously the replay value is awesome ie bonus weapons, armours, power ups etc but I think the WOW! factor is on the Psp version.Personally I HAD to get this cos I'm such an anal completist but I'll be honest I enjoyed it more on Psp.Play this then play Ratchet and Clank future- Tools of Destruction for Ps3 (if you haven't already)then sit back and look forward to Secret Agent Clank on Psp..............

Here it is, the fifth game in the series for ps2. Ratchet & Clank has varied the formula little from game to game - and for very good reason, it works and people like it. This game is no exception. More of the same explosive action, huge arsenal of weaponary, mass destruction and hours and hours of fun. This is a highly recommended game for anyone who has enjoyed any of the previous games or if anyone is considering it for the first time then this would be a good game to start with. Superb graphics, funny, engrossing storyline, and big replay value there is nothing here to dislike. Highly recommended, buy and enjoy, it's gonna be worth it (",)

I have been a huge Ps2 R&C fan (not getting a Ps3 and going down the Xbox 360 route instead), and when I decided to revisit them I realized that this was a game I had missed out on. A few reviews and videos later I decided to order it and see for myself if this game was all that bad. If I'm honest, being nearly five years after its Ps2 release, being made by an outside company and being a port from the PsP i was very skeptical, but I have really loved this game and by no excuse should it be considered a bad game!It has great replay ability but unfortunately the camera and controls are a bit funky, so it just falls short of the 5 stars.

I have reawakened my love for the PS2, I haven't played with it for years, but thought I would have a go again and revisit R&C. The game is great although have to agree with other players that the graphics are not quite as good as R&C that were originally designed for the PS2 (this one was originally designed for the PSP). However, it is still a joy to meet R&C again, and quietly laugh at the characterization and humor.

When I first got the game I thought it was a big let down! The graphics seem bad and the picture just seemed to be stretched from the psp to make it into a ps2 game. However, the more I played it the better it seemed to become! I'm about a third into the game and I am enjoing alot!

The game is not awful but it's not brilliant either. This psp port could have used some more fine tuning but all in all still contains some fun. Would recommend the Insomniac Ratchet and Clank games over this one any day.

An excellent game for the older PS2 platform. Newer games may have more bells and whistles, but for sheer fun, this one takes a lot of beating.
