As long as you understand what you're getting with the Polaroid Snap and still want it, you're unlikely to be disappointed. It's a more modern take on old-style cameras that didn't reveal what you had snapped until the film was processed or, in the case of real Polaroids, what developed before your eyes. You take a photo, and the camera prints it on a 2" x 3" paper that comes out from a lot on the side. You get instant, glossy prints that have a backing that can make each into a sticker.Unlike other digital cameras, the Snap doesn't have an LED screen to review photos both before you shoot and before you print. Instead, it has a small viewfinder that approximates the frame of your photo. There's a bit of a learning curve if you like to take close photos since the distance from the lens to the viewfinder is such that you can cut off the top of your subject. The camera does not have a zoom. It is a basic snapshot camera with an instant print feature. Although everything you take will print -- no take-backs -- you may insert a microSD card (not included) to store what you've shot. You don't need a memory card, though, to use the camera since it has just enough internal memory to store the photo before it prints. The cool part of the technology is the Zink (zero ink) paper that prints your photo on paper roughly the size of a business card without using ink. You don't add cartridges or anything else -- just a pack (10 sheets) of Zink paper. The camera does NOT come with paper, so make sure you buy some packs when you purchase it. As mentioned above, the paper has a removable backing to turn your little photos into stickers. The camera has a magnetically attached lens cap. Fortunately, the camera doesn't take a snapshot if the cover is in place, although you may be scratching your head, wondering why the camera isn't working. Although the Snap has few features, it does have a color setting (full color, black-and-white, and sepia), a 10-second timer, and the ability to take four photos to place on one piece of paper. It has a hole on the bottom for a screw-mount tripod. It does not have a flash, but it can take indoor photos as long as a room is adequately lit.The Polaroid Snap is definitely not for everybody. It is a limited-use, special-purpose camera that is perfect for situations when you want to be able to hand people their photographs or to turn snapshots into stickers. It's a fun accessory for parties, classrooms, and hanging with friends. I imagine that its greatest fans will be teens, college students, and teachers. I do love this camera but I couldn't give it 5 stars and here is why...this camera doesn't come with an instruction booklet. To learn about certain features I had to do some research online. It comes with a very simple illustration showing how to turn on and how to open the back and that's it. Also after using only twice the camera started flashing the paper light, and I couldn't shut it off or anything, I had to wait for the battery to run out. I searched and searched for troubleshooting and finally found where the reset is which is right beside the USB input. This camera has three color settings :back and white, color, and vintage. Those options are on the far left of the camera. To the right of that button is the borders option so you can have an old fashioned Polaroid border. In the center is the power button and the view finder will pop up. Finally all the way to the left is the power button in red, also this is how you tap into the photo booth option where it will take for photos I a row. You hold down the power button until it beeps then it will snap a photo and beep again and so on and so fourth. This option I really enjoyed. This camera has a mini SD card slot which is perfect to have a back up of your pictures, the quality is also higher then that of the printed photo. The only way to not print a photo is not have any paper in it. If there's paper then whatever pictures you take they will print. When inserting your pack of paper you must load the whole thing. This is because you need the Barcode to be read before it can start a new pack of paper. The first photo you take of every pack will print out the blue Barcode sheet then your photo will follow.Overall this camera is a lot of fun to use and its great with thw different color iption as well as the photobooth option. The pictures print out realtively fast. But Be careful with storage because the camera will turn on if the power button is hit, which is easy to do. You don't want to find that your camera has run out of juice and can't capture the moment you wish you had.I think this camera is perfect for all ages, my boyfriends six year old son was amazed as he isn't use to singing instant cameras since everything is digital these days. This camera is perfect for traveling and even for weddings, which I have seen them used before.*I received this product at a discounted price for my honest and unbiased review*

Wow this brought back memories of the first Polaroid camera I owned. The instant camera that you watched as the photos developed right before your eyes! Times have changed that's for sure. Now with digital cameras and smartphones the idea of instantly printing pictures may seem unnecessary. However how many times do you wish you could have instantly printed a photo to give away or for a keepsakes, The Polaroid Snap allows for moments to happen instantly without waiting for the picture to develop, and best of all the photo paper can also be peeled back and the ZINK photo becomes an instant sticker. Stick them on anything from folders, windows, lockers, etc. After taking the camera, wrist strap and micro USB cable out of the box I noticed there were no instructions. Just a little illustrated drawing showing how to remove the magnetic lens cover and how to power up the camera, just pictures no words. There also was a little card with small writing stating to go to a website to get the latest firmware update. After charging the camera that is what I did, went to the Polaroid website indicated on the card and did the update. Then I decided to go to polaroid.com and that is where I found the users manual. As you can see in my picture attachments there are several picture color modes to pick from; normal (color), black and white and vintage sepia. The camera has a built in flash and 10 second timer. After playing around a bit I noticed for closeup facial pictures the pictures were blurry and out of focus while the backgrounds were focused. The camera seems to do better for facial shots when there are no objects in the background. Landscapes or a picture taking up the entire picture area look nice and clear.Camera can be used with ZINK paper and/or Micro SD card up to 32GB. When using paper the pictures are also saved on the SD card. The photo paper is inserted with the glossy side up and it takes up to 10 sheets at a time. It is amazing how the camera does not take any sort of ink, all the magic is through the ZINK paper. The camera does get a bit warm while the photo is processing I noticed.Disclaimer: Product sample provided for free or discounted for an honest unbiased review with no means of payment or incentives offered in exchange.

Package is beautiful and very easy to open. The device is manufactured with an incredible quality and the catch in hand is pleasant. The cap which protects the lens is magnetized with the contour of this one, so the installation or the shrinking of the cap is done instantaneously. The camera has several features:- A button timer to take a picture with delayed-action (10 seconds)- A button to choice the picture colors, (standard Colors, Black and White, and Yellow Antique)-A button to activate or disable a white framework surrounding the picture-It also has Micro SD port to save the pictures taken of digital manner in order to be able to view them in its telephone,or another device. To open or close the device it is enough to press on the sight so that it opens physically and that he lights on the device automatically. The paper of impression is very easy to install. The box also provides, besides the Usb wire to charge the device, a wrist-strap in order to take over the device in a safely way. The pictures are superb in term of quality and it makes us fall in childhood again where that kind of devices were at the top of the market, oh memories.. The device will make oldest one nostalgic a little bit and young people happy of being able to take pictures. As regards the price of the cartridges count 1$ per photo, it can be a little bit pricy, but for the adults, this device is used to immortalize some moments in a retro style and not to take everything in photo ,and for the children, it is an excellent way of teaching them the money value. With all the attention with which it was manufactured, the Snap Polaroid deserves one easily 5 StarsI was provided this item by the manufacturerfor testing purposes.I didn't received any compensation to write a positive review.Since i never do fake reviews, all this is my real opinion and i hope it would help you. :)

I actually bought this camera about two years ago for my ex boyfriend so I knew what it was like, but wanted to wait until I tested it out myself to decide how to review it.So it is a fantastic camera, the film is pretty cheap (you don’t get any when ordering this camera so make sure you purchase it additionally) and the reason I chose this camera over the Instax is primarily because of the use of a SD card. If you don’t have film you can still take images which is amazing, and if you lose the photograph you know you have a copy saved to the SD card. This camera has three different filter types; normal, black and white and sepia, you can set a timer (10 seconds)and choose whether you want a classic Polaroid frame on the image.Very easy to use and arrived pre charged so no need to wait until the battery is charged up.It also notifies you if you have the lense cap on after you take a shot so you don’t waste paper. The two things I don’t particularly like is this;1. The view finder is way off, rather than using that I just recommend thinking about where the lens is and level it with your desired focal point.2. You can’t choose whether or not you want the flash to go off. I’ve found that covering the flash with your finger works well however I feel that there should be a button to decide if you want a forced flash.Other than that you can take some great nostalgia-like photos, it looks amazing and the film is also a sticker! Also love how there’s a fitting for you to attach a tripod which has come in very handy!

Technology is such a pride this generation. Its so amazing you could take a picture without a film or an ink instantly and this is polaroid Snap!It comes with strap, a usb cord and a small illustration how to used it. They got 4 different color of polaroid and I got a white one and 10 megapixel. Im a picture fanatic and I usually have my phone or my dslr with me every occasion. It has an button for turning it on, color selection if you want a lighter color or a black and white, flash and a 10 seconds timer. It has a magnetic lens cover. It has a micro sd slot holds 32Gb. It has a small hole for mounting it with camera stand. You need to buy a compatible photo paper for it.It print out good and clear when you have a good lighting. For me its so cool to have one especially if you want an instant copy. The photo paper has sticky back so when you want to make a collage or making an album. It is an instant picture with good quality for a 10 megapixel camera. I have some example of it ; different pictures taken, inside the house and outside to compare result. We love it and we have fun taking pictures.I got this in reduced cost in exchanged of my honest and unbiased opinion and its a 100% claim.

Great fun and good to have photos instantly printed instead of filed away on a computer hard drive never to be seen again. Photos cost about 20p each which is well priced compared to other similar products on the market. The fact that it also saves a copy to a microSD card is useful. People complaining about quality of photo here don't seem to understand it's printing inkless in less than 30 seconds, of course it isn't studio quality. However, if you look at the photos after on a computer via the microSD you will see that it also takes very good quality digital photos. The beauty of this camera is not only can you physically save the photos and give them to friends on the spot, you also take more care what you photograph because each shot costs you 20p (unless you take the paper out in which case it can be used as a normal digital camera). Not that effective in low light levels and the viewfinder (which turns the camera on) is a bit too easy to pop open accidentally. For my needs and purposes it's a great product, if I was rating it for everyone I would give it 4/5 but for myself and my needs it's a 5/5

It's easy to use and select between the colours and if you want a border or not. Sadly, it always defaults to no border when you turn the camera on, but easy to just push the button again. The pictures print pretty pronto, and although the image quality isn't as top notch as I'm used to it's got that retro vibe that you want from an instant camera. I like that the lens cover is magnetic too, as it's easy to quickly snatch off if you're about to take a pic and realise you've left it on, and easy to put back on. I also like that the pictures will save to an SD card- something we've not tried yet. Got this for my boyfriend's birthday and he's looking forwards to using it at a New Year party as anovelty way of recording the night.

The camera is fun and easy to use and good for selfies. The pictures are however quite poor quality, especially if it is too sunny or too dark. I accidentally discovered the photobooth setting where it takes a sequence of 4 pictures and prints it on one sheet, and I think that can be especially fun (though the pictures are tiny). The nice thing is that the photos are also stickers and can be glued for example on post cards while travelling. The original Polaroid used to have better quality photos, but this camera is quite good for this kind of use and the photos don't cost a fortune. So until they develope the instant cameras further, this gets just about 4 stars.

Lovely little gadget for my kid. Picture quality isn't great however I like that about it, it adds to the nostalgic nature when we make picture boards and when is say "isn't great" it's still a nice reliable picture with detail. I used to have a PoGo printer and it was awesome for when I was away with work. My Little lad loves this, he's started to take pictures to document things he see when playing out and walking the dog. Battery lIfe is very good and its extremely easy to use. Highly recommend! Please bare in mind this is a fun child friendly gadget, not something you'll use on Holiday to record family memories without a real camera.Worth every penny!.

I have bought this for a wedding but I'm a bloke so had to try it before the big day.It is easy to use, I see that the paper is a tadge expensive and this one doesn't come with any. I am going to let the few children at the wedding go a bit wild with this on the day and my grand daughter has already labelled it as hers. The dinkly little snapshots appeal to the kids, I am hoping that I can persuade them to stick them in a scrapbook for the bride and groom, but given my granddaughters reaction, I might not be able to prise them from their hot sticky hands. Not too sure that I will keep it after the wedding as they are of limited use.

It was a gift for my girlfriend. It is quite a nice gift as it creates really nice memories. The pictures are quite small, no really passport small but a bit bigger. You get 3 choices for colour warmth, which makes the picture look more vintage, depending on which one you choose. Really simple to use, it has even an sd card slot. It's like 2 mpx so don't expect mind blowing sharpness. It's a nice gift and that's about it. I ended up using it for her, taking some really nice pictures of us on holiday. It has a vintage thing about it. The colours make the pictures look like that, a bit grainy too. I don't regret it one bit. I love it!

I would have given 5 star but my only problem so far is that there were no instructions given. I did some online research to find out that you could do this photo booth mode where 4 photos would come out in one print, also I could work out how to use the flash and from what I've read its automatic and used when it needs to be. Another cool feature I found out while researching was that the prints that come out can be doubled as stickers and have a layer you can peel off to stick to what ever you please. Over all me and my girlfriend love the camera but a booklet of instruction would have been really helpful!

This is excellent! Other half is well happy with it as her Christmas pressie. To be honest I was interested in getting myself one! Photo quality is good and has a range of colour effects you can use aswell as with or without a border. The digital copy of the shots os also rather good, nothing special but decent as its just a bonus.Cant seem how to work out the ipdate firmware precedure though! Also I've noticed that any ZINK 3 x 2 paper works! Don't go spending loads on paper that says it's only designed for this camera. I bought 70 sheets for less than £10 on Amazon which work a dream.

I recently bought this camera for my 4 year old for his birthday. He loves using phones & old camera to take pictures so thought this was perfect. It's a decent size & simple to use. No fiddly buttons to faff with. Pics can be store on a memory card. His face when I printed the picture straight away made it a worthwhile present that we can all as a family enjoy. The printing quality isn't the best however if you choose the black and white mode the image quality seems to be better.
