My son had this for his 5th birthday and absolutely loves it. I was actually looking for similar items to buy when I came across the rather disparaging reviews and felt I had to write a review of my own. Far from being too old for him the game is actually perfect for my son. Admittedly initially we had to check some of the names etc of the dinosaurs as we went along but after about a week he knew them all by heart. I would say however it is not a straight forward snap game you have to match one of four different categories but it is fun and educational and we love it.

Very nearly excellent - apart from the fact that it is a bit TOO clever in terms of SNAP!You are not comparing like with like, but trying to match the Dinosaur Picture with its skeleton...However, I had a cunning thought - and bought 2 copies - which can then be merged to make real SNAP - as well as allowing the opportunity to match on the skeleton as well.

great stocking filler the cards are really clever for a simple game of snap, they are perfect for any kid who is mad about dinosaurs, has loads of info to learn as you play along, cards can be tricky to work out the information so it does need an adult to help but once the facts are memorised its a great little game perfect for traveling with.

Our son was given this game for his fourth birthday. I had put it on his Wishlist because I thought the age rating was probably over-cautious. You have to match the dinosaur picture, skeleton, name or what they ate. After the party, the grown ups played a game which was a surprisingly long and slow game! Great fun, needs practice though!

Great little bargain! I bought this for my 5 year old son for christmas, who is dino mad! It's got some variations of the game, matching skeletons ect instead of just shouting snap when you match a picture, so it's great for helping children to learn more about dinosaurs, as well as us adults!

Of all the toys and games the boys got for Christmas this was the one which entertained them most. Though to be fair - their dad and granddad were also enthralled which led to a bit of a gender split in the household with mum and gran being left in peace.

granddaughter was so excited when these came as I let her open the parcel when she seen the dinosaur cards she was so pleased but she wont let anyone play snap with her as she said their her cards laugh out loud

I never knew how much fun learning about dinosaurs could be until I played this game with my 4-year old son and 6-year old daughter! A great present for any time - perfect for journeys on the train.

Ideal for a young boy of 5+ who was delighted with the game. Additionally it’s packaging in a tin box. will ensure a long and happy life and ideal for taking around for sleepovers etc.

Given as a part birthday present, he loves dinosaurs so he should like this. Will also help as he growswith speed of reaction I hope! Perhaps also with the competetive side of him!

Great Little product. Funnily enough i didnt buy for a child but as a drinking game for university..... random i know but never the less an ace product. Highly recommend seller.
