If you are not new or have some good amount of experience using almost every or some models of instant cameras like myself, the first thing you are going to ask is what is the whole point of this camera? Why bother when Fujifilm themselves had given the consumer an option of printing directly from their smartphones using the Instax Share SP-2. I know many people are going to throw questions like, 'where is the whole magic of analog characteristic in this SQ10? The joy of waiting if your photo is fab or crappy? The discovering, the unpredictability...Well, do not forget please, firstly it is a hybrid. Plus, you still get the option of 'printing on the go' by switching to auto mode.

Why 4 stars. The latch that holds the back pack panel together is made of plastic. As this is where the film is mounted it really should be made of metal. I have small hands and find it a little cramped to hold also struggle to feel where the shutter button is. Going from playback to camera mode by pressing the shutter button feels very wrong. AND the manual print/auto print button should be software not a physical switch. I caught the switch a few times without knowing it's lucky they display the mode at all times but still no need for it to be physical.On amazon.com someone wrote they needed to stop the photos down 1/3 i found this not to be the case.

I have only had this camera 1 day but love it, I have a standard format Instax camera already this new Square format is a vast improvement. Instax cameras are really fun cameras the instant prints produced are not up to the quality of a high definition print. The nice thing about this SQ10 is it also produces a good quality digital copy in the .JPG format. so unlike other Instax cameras in the range you have the chance of more than a one off print. The cost of the camera is not cheep neither is the film and it wont replace your SLR or Compact but just for fun it's wonderful. The 2 attached pictures are JPG's from the camera memory.

I'm addicted to this camera.We can take photos, play with the light and filters and then decide if we want to print. We can also print photos taken in other devices just by putting them into the mini sd card.I can export the photos to my computer and use them later one. The quality of the photos is nothing special, but the prints are... there is something magic about seeing a photo being developed in front of your eyes.This camera also has the advantage of using square photos that are bigger than the mini instax. So, I can see more of landscape aroundI'm very happy with it

I have seen complaints about digital photos that they are not so great however, I have tried photos myself and for me i do not see any reason to complain about!I am very happy about the camera, I like the way it feels, it's comfortable, photos are clear, the editing allows you to make the photo the way you want it it to be. The printed photos are not exactly the same as digital in my case (brightness) but, overall it does great pictures and prints great pics too! Defo fun to play with in different kind of photography and I would recommend it!

Love this hybrid as it means I don’t have to print every ‘bad’ shot taken. You can print automatically if you wish but you can put it on manual and choose. This also means you can tweak the photo with light, colour, background etc.I’m pleased with the quality of the shots which are much better than the originals back in the day they are not anyway near modern cameras.Lovely fun photos at an instant.

Seems a really fun camera to get your memories straight away. I bought one as present, I am really thinking about buying one for myself... So jealous when I had it on my hands.I resent it back to Spain as a present and despite all the items are packed as they are supposed- battery included- I am having a bit of trouble to be delivered to the person, seems to be lost in the warehouse

This was a Christmas present for my wife who is a keen photographer with an expensive camera. This was for her to take posh selfies and print them for friends at a wedding we were invited to and for our kids over Christmas. She loves it !!Very easy to use and the option to tidy up photos before printing stops you wasting the quite expensive print papers. Would recommend it.

I really am in love with using this camera, everything about it is amazing to use. The only issue I have with it is when I’m taking photos at night or dark lighting it’s very difficult to get the photo to come out right even when trying to adjust brightness. But other than that, I am so happy with it

Love the ease of use. This camera produces great photos and the square size is so much nicer than the mini. I love that you can edit the photos and zoom in before printing. This camera is night and day compared to the mini.Has a great feel to it and I know I will use it for many different projects.

Really enjoying this camera. I have the mini 90 and an old Polaroid which I love but really like the fact you can review and edit the pics before committing the print, already saved me from 'wasted' prints, although of course for some this is part of it. Really recommend this camera.

Purchased as a Christmas present and have a very happy daughter who loves the result. Even tempted to get another for myself love the retro throwback to the 1970’s and remember these first time round. Great product but prefer the larger photo’s so check the type before you buy.

Superb camera for social media feed and the whole Polaroid and Instax retro vibe. As an addition to the workshop it allows easy product and workshop feeds and I can print what I want from the SD card as and when. Allows meTo give souvenirs to students of classes I run.

Interesting take on the Instax.While it loses the charm of seeing an image develop before your eyes, it does lower the chances of poorly exposed images etc.The interface isn't the best thing in the world but once you get used to it, everything is lovely!

It is perfect I like so much this kind of camera it's just a little bit expensive. It's very easy to use and there are a couple of effect very cool it's a perfect gift for someone who likes photo.
