I read a lot of reviews that said this camera wasn't great but I read a couple written by photographers who made it clear this is a fun camera to experiment with, as long as you know basic photography and have an interest in the functions on this camera. After toying between buying a Polaroid or any other Instax camera, I chose this one because I loved the idea of multiple exposures, detachable lenses, and the bulb function for long exposures. This is a really fun camera to take out with you and just play with! The pictures can sometimes be darker than expected, turning a pleasant beer garden early evening in Manchester into an amazing underground club in Berlin - but the flash makes up for this and on the auto setting it will work,even in sunshine. I think it's a piece of equipment that I will learn how to use the more I use it - the paper it takes isn't cheap, costing just under £1 a photo, but it is so worth it to have tangible photos you can give to your friends or keep in your wallet or build a wall of photos in your home!The only thing I have noticed is that if left switched on for a while, sometimes it can forget to take a photo and this has led to some stressful moments of turning it off and just snapping randomly to get it working again. When the photo eventually appears it is usually a multiple exposure. I think this is my fault for not turning the camera off between snaps (I'm used to an SLR that you just leave alone!). However I wish it had a beep function so you knew the cartridge had finished or that the camera had gone into a standby mode where you may have to switch it on and off a couple of times to wake it up.I would recommend this camera to someone who wants a fun, quirky camera that has many exciting features. Someone who is keen in photography or is willing to learn more about it would enjoy this camera too. I think it could be a bit hard to use for children and I wouldn't recommend it for a present to be used immediately (like a party) where you expect your first 10 images to be amazing - it took me a while to get the distancing and framing correct - and I think this could disappoint people who expect great and easy pictures without first practising in a stress-free environment.

I'm not too sure on this yet, I bought it for my brother for Christmas and so far none of the pictures he has taken have came out, the camera also wouldn't work with a few different battery's in the end the pound shop battery's seemed to be the only ones to work in it. But anyway I'm not sure if it's the camera that's the problem or the film, waiting for him to change film so we can see.

Plenty of reviews online so I'll summarise. If you want to take reasonable pictures buy the Fuji, if you want to get creative and like the Lomo look get this. You'll know which camp you fall into.
