Hello to all friends of Amazon, this time, given the particularity of the treated article, I would like to make a "review / comparison" between the two rivals of instant photography: Polaroid with its classic square films and FujiFilm with its new Instax Square.I consider this comparison necessary for anyone thinking of approaching this type of photography because I find the two types of films extremely different, in terms of type, size, color fidelity and prices.Of course in the video (which you can find on my YouTube channel) I show examples, so you can evaluate whether to buy these films or a different type, based on your needs. As for Polaroid we have:PRO- photo size;- card quality;-At the end of development you will have the exact same photos of "when we were children";-compatibility with many cameras of the brand, including the "old" vintage that you may already have in the attic.- great variety of frames, many are the colors available for the frames.VERSUS-high price;-8 shots instead of 10;-colors (naturally) not faithful to reality but more "dull";- high development times (15 minutes);- impractical mode of conservation. As for Fuji we have:PRO- convenient price (about 1 euro each pose);- color and print quality;- development time of only 90 seconds;- simpler storage and longer film expiration;- they are used by different brands, if you don't like Fuji cameras, like Lomography, Leica or Jollylook.VERSUS- although they are larger than the Instax Mini, they are still smaller than the Polaroids;- less vintage image, the photo tends to look modern.- you will fill the house with these photographs and friends will ask you to always give them one :-DI hope this review/comparison, a bit anomalous, could be useful and helpful in case of purchase or indecision on which films to use.If you have any questions do not hesitate, I will answer you as soon as possible.A hug and see you at the next review.Good shopping.

When looking for a Polaroid camera I wanted to maintain the original square photo's from the timeless classics whilst having a camera that wasn't too bulky. I committed to find a happy medium and acquired the Instax SQ6 by Fujifilm. The prints are smaller than I expected, which I should have measured for myself but the quality met my expectations to a high level. This is not to say the pictures have the greatest quality if I were to compare it with my phone camera but of course that's not what you should be expecting. The images have a lack of sharpness, high contrast ratio and a slightly degraded saturation but do they live up that vintage nostalgia and artistic flair of capturing an emotion suspended in time. For me, it was a hard yes. If you're thinking of casual way to enjoy a poloroid then I'd recommend the set up I chose. My only disappointmentment was with the packaging. It should have been contained in a cardboard box for protection as they have a fragile nature to them, instead a sparsly bubble wrapped linned envelope not ideal for over-sea shipping. The actual contents arrived with a torn box and dents in the orginal foil seal for the film, which I suspected to be dents caused by a person's fingers as they gripped the product heavy handedly. However, this could have most likely been caused on the courier route or even inspected by customs. Not to be said, it could have been avoided with more appropriate packing methods and greater attention to detail. Fortunately the film is still working fine, thankfully.Overall great product but poor delivery.Thank you,

I bought these to use with an Instax mini 9 camera when it occurred to me that while I may take a few hundred photos at a time with a digital camera, they usually remained in a folder, on my computer, never to be seen again. Since buying both of these my photos are now often out, or in an album which actually gets looked at, so a fantastic purchase in that regard! While there isn’t a huge amount you can say about film, here goes anyway: it is incredibly easy to use with the camera, the packaging it comes in makes putting it into your camera without worrying that you are going to expose the film to light incredibly easy (as long as your careful not to squeeze the box).10 photos a cartridge takes some getting used to when you’ve had a digital camera for a while, but it means you actually really think about what you are taking as opposed to hitting the shutter button repeatedly and mindlessly, meaning your photos are actually generally better. The photos themselves are small but well defined, but you are buying mini film!Overall a fantastic product if a little on the pricy side, but it works, its easy to install in the camera itself, and its nice having something you can hold, look at and have out.

This came the next day with prime and did everything I expected. Image quality was exactly what I expected it to be, and is dependent on how well you can use your camera! This is the first pack of film I got to use in my Fujifilm Instax Mini 9 and so took one or two films to get used to it but once I did I loved the vintage, old school look all the films had. It was so lovely to have a tangible, physical copy of pictures in my hand instantly. Didn't grow up with polaroid style pictures where it came out instantly so it was a novelty for me but those who did grow up with it really loved the throwback! For anyone who hasn't used the camera before, make sure you don't open the back when you insert the the cartridge as this will overexpose the film and will come out all white. First shot that you take when you put in the cartridge will take off the back and will spew out a thin piece of plastic. One pack of the two was damaged but was sorted once I contacted Amazon.

This film is brilliant, It captures a scene in that perfect on the spot moment! You can get some fantastic effects depending on which camera you have. I have an Instax Neo 90 and along with double exposure and long exposures, this film really has great colour and contrast.Simple to fit in any Instax Mini Film camera, all you do is slot the film cartridge in (check camera instructions) close the camera and snap away! You get 10 pictures in each cartridge so 2 film cartridges works out at less than £1 per picture. Not too bad really considering instant film has gone up in price since the demise of the original Polaroid film.Make sure you look around as the price for this film can fluctuate.I have found it here on Amazon cheaper than in the shops and vice versa.

downloaded the app charged the battery inserted the film with the yellow dots lining up took a pic with phone opened it in app after pairing and printed all worked straight away. Pic ejects within 5 secs but then takes a good 60 secs before an image appears and then almost 10 minutes before the pic is fully developed. The app software doesnt give you massive control over the images and the square pics are still noticeably smaller than the polaroid equivalent and the printed image is considerably cropped from the original image displayed on the phone and is also cropped from that shown in the print app. Images a bit softer than on phone and not as much contrast but reasonable. So only 6.5/10

I bought my daughter two cameras for her birthday as she needed a good one for her studies but I also knew she had hankered after an instant camera for a long time so I bought the Fuji Instax Mini 70 which I felt would be more for fun.It came with a cartridge of 10 and we were all very impressed with the photo's.I mooched around trying to find a good deal on refills so as to speak and found this deal on Amazon.Cheaper than anywhere else I looked which is definitely a bonus as these camera's aren't very cheap to run but priceless in other ways.I can't find anything to fault them and provided the price doesn't rise I will be stocking up from here as and when required.

This is the second time I've purchased this item, and i am still in love with the quality. Each box contains 2 packets of ten exposures, and is easy to load into any Instax Mini 8 camera. They are credit card sized, and the images develop in about 30 seconds in room temperature conditions. I took one exposure at about 3 degrees during winter, which struggled to develop instantly, but developed once back at room temperature. However, the chemicals did react and formed a green haze at this point, so just be wary at extreme temperatures.I've used this film along with the appropriate camera to shoot at birthdays, and they have gone down a treat with party goers.

I am very careful when buying film. These films have great picture quality and it's worth the money. Most places are expensive when buying film even when buying in a bundle. So I always get my films from here and in a bundle. Its totally worth the money. I've brought 50 shot pack twice from this seller. The film quality is great. I would definitely recommend buying film from here especially for instax devices. I have never had any problems with the film i've brought from here. All the pictures I have taken with this film have come out great. I have used this film for my camera and even my instax printer. So I totally recommend buying from here.

I used this film for my Instax Mini 8 polaroid camera. It takes less than 30 seconds to replace the film, and the yellow stripe on the film container makes it super easy to do so.The quality was just as you would expect, I am really pleased. These small polaroid photos look super cute, whether you are keeping them in a photobook or hanged across your bedroom wall. I recommend hanging string across your wall and hanging the photos up with a peg.As for the price, this is the best you are going to get. The delivery of these were very prompt also, so my money was well spent.I would really recommend these for your polaroid camera.

I've always used this brand and almost never have any problems, however, I have had about three of 10 prints come out with heavy discoloration. please take care when holding your pictures after printing and DON'T shake them as everyone says. Put them into a bum pocket of trousers or under your armpits (sounds weird i know)... basically anywhere that is warm so you get the best development possible.this product is very good in terms of the price ( a few years ago i remember them being much more expensive) and the shipping was ok, it came extremely quickly but the postman left in on my doorstep where anyone could've taken.it.

I bought the Instax Wide 210 a while ago after a bad experience with an old polaroid (impossible to find cheap film, and the new Impossible Project film is insanely expensive and poor quality).I have to say, I'm extremely impressed with the quality. The film is still slightly expensive (but way, way cheaper than polaroid), but the quality is great and it's a blast bringing the camera out on a night out with friends and being able to give people the snaps you take. The look on friends faces after the film comes out the top and they wait to see how the picture turns out is worth the price.

I bought these for a friend, to take with her on her hols. All film worked just fine and she brought home some lovely monochrome shots of their holiday - but having used these before, I can definitely conclude and remove one star for the fact that the picture quality is reduced generally with this film, unlike with the coloured film. It's not a huge problem if you know what you're doing with a camera but worth mentioning, at least. It's almost not worth removing a star, but these films are still quite expensive so 4/5 from me. :)

I bought this monochrome film for my boyfriend after purchasing and Instax 90 mini. However I was disappointed after further research in to instant film directed me to a website where I could get more polaroid film for a cheaper price. The quality of this film is really good and photos came out clear and defined. There was no white photos as other reviews have described. My boyfriend has used the entire pack now and had no issues. The photos are small but big enough to see and perfect size to stick on a fridge or inside a wallet!

Whilst I found the product of good quality,I was a little puzzled with the packaging.Whilst the outer packaging stated that it was Monochrome film, the inner packaging stated that it was Fuji Colour film, and it was not until I had loaded it into my camera, and made the 1st exposure that I discovered that it was, in fact Monochrome film.I contacted a friend who had also purchased the same type of film, only to discover that he had encountered the same problem, so I would imagine that the fault lies with the manufacturer.
