My husband happily remembers playing Woodland Snap over half a century ago. In fact many of the names from the cards have entered his family vocabulary. "Mr Cunningleigh Sligh" the aristocratic fox with a shot gun, "Hoppy Spadge" the well dressed sparrow, "Barnaby Littlemouse", "Millicent Littlemouse", "Humphrey Goggle" the frog, with his wife "Mrs Croak", "Widow Pintips" the hedgehog, "Prettiwigs Pattikin" the squirrel, "Dr. Bunfuz" the rabbit, "Tippetty Nippet" the baby squirrel in bed, "Nubby Tope" the resourceful mole. All these names cause gales of laughter amongst the parents of our grandchildren who we are now busy indoctrinating with this hilarious game. Racey Helps (another funny name really)

i bought these for our granddaughter but when they arrived it was happy familys in a snap box,i kept them and ordered again this time it was in the right box, she likes this game and the pictures are very nice and the quality of the cards is good, when she visits us she does play with them, on the other hand the happy familys was a waste of money she is only 6 and just doesn't understand the game,think she is more interested in her nintendo ds

PERFECT...GREAT TO HELP WITH READING SKILLS STRANGE AS THAT MAY SOUND...WORKING OUT THE NAMES IS A FUN WAY TO LEARN TO READ AND BREAK UP INTO CHUNKS TO READ THE WHOLE AND BECAUSE THEY ARE HILARIOUS NAMES THIS IS A GAME...ALWAYS BETTER THAT THEY DONT SUSPECT THEY ARE BEING TAUGHT!!!!!!!

I was so pleased to find these cards, as I had the identical ones as a child and it brought back so many nice memories just by looking at the pictures! They are really beautifully illustrated and just great for playing happy families or making up your own games.

i was very happy with the item i bought bringing back many memories from childhood. Delivery was as stated on order so more than happy with that and therefore the supplier fulfilled its side. would recommend this supplier and use again.

Bought these for my Daughters who remember playing with a set as very young children at their Grandparents.The most delightful images reminiscent of those found in children's story books back in the 70s!.

I was so excited when I found these cards were still available to buy. I played with them as a child in the 70's and loved the woodland characters. They are still as charming now as they were then.

Beautifully illustrated, this game of snap can be versatile...Snap and Pelmanism, and can be enjoyed by all ages, from 3 upwards in my family. It has been a favourite for two generations.

Brought back great memories of playing in the 50's with my family and grandparents. Remembered the name Hoppy Spadge, googled it and there he was, just as I remembered him☺

Bought these for our grand children we have played many times with them and they are still in good condition. Lovely pictures and bright colours.

This is a lovely game, a great favourite with my children and now grandchild, played from 3 years upwards, over and over again!

What beautifully designed cards these are. I seem to remember having some similar when I was a youngster in the 60's.

Loved the images although 3 year old grandson still bit reluctant to play or understand the concept of SNAP
