I bought this primarily to attach to my car both inside and out. I've only attached it to the inside so far but would have no hesitations in using it outside either. The camera simply screws on to the mount itself and although there is a safety cord, don't really see the need for that myself. I don't think the suction cup would come off (IF you prepare the surface correctly), the chances are it would be the camera from the mount given it is attached via a screw and could work lose. I'd prefer the camera to come off clean rather than be smashing around on my car if I used the safety cord - sure that those on two wheels wouldn't be happy with a camera bobbling around their helmet/tank/handlebars

Professional looking so you can use it in front of anyone, easy to use, stows away compact and easy to take with you anywhere.The inbuilt twin bubble level is the best part which makes leveling of the tripod fast and easy.Include the sturdy build, along with the carrying handle, and it reaches close to a professional tripod which costs a bomb.The other review saying it was stiff - of course it's stiff brand new, just give it a little bit of back and forth movement and set the screw appropriately,Amazing value for the price.

mounted it on the top of my motorcycle helmet and secured the camera to my face visor for extra security, the mount is very conspicuous because of its size and a few of my biker mates took the mickey but i got it for safety and scam reasons, i.e car pulling out and other reckless drivers, the suction is very powerful when fitted properley and would recommend this mount to all bikers, the mount kit is also good for cars mounted on the dashboard,

I want to make video from onboard my motorbike and the angle this provides is what I am looking for. It works well and attaches to the tank with a convincing amount of suction. It is sturdily built and has a couple of knurly wheels for adjusting the up and down angle of the camera. There is a chunky screw with a fold out D ring for tightening the camera to the top plate and this is also reassuringly sturdy. All in all tip top.

I was unsure about buying this item because it cost only £8 more than my previous tripod, but the difference between the two could have been £80.Not only was this larger, it was made of better materials, it was sturdier too.I would recommended this item to everyone

Simple unit to use, sturdy and with good suction.Don't have any problem attaching and removing the camera.Good value for the money.

bought this for our Nikon D40X camera. Its easy to use and stores away in its carrying case. Recommend this item.
