I have a five year old system based around a Core i5 4670k and 16GB RAM. It had a Nvidia GTX 770 2GB graphics card which was getting long in the tooth. I wasn't sure whether to bite the bullet and get a new PC altogether but decided to upgrade the graphics card first to see if I could get a bit more life out of the old beast.I looked at all of the new RTX cards as well as the last generation GTX cards. I wanted to find the sweet spot between getting something future proof and spending too much money on a card which was bottlenecked by the 5 year old CPU. I had a feeling the the RTX 2060 would be the right card but it was a question of which one?The prices vary significantly and not all of them have reviews yet.So I took a gamble on this PNY card on the basis of:1. Price2. It's a close size match for my old card3. A couple of reviews suggested it was fairly quiet. In short I am absolutely thrilled with it. It is indeed quiet, installed without a hitch and the performance, for my needs anyway, is great. I can't offer numbers but will say this; in Battlefield 5 the old card was borderline unplayable even with the resolution and all settings turned way down. With this PNY RTX 2060 installed, running at 1920x1200, every single setting on the highest it will go, it's as smooth as butter. I won't lie and say that I KNOW it's 60fps but it very much feels like it.The only thing it doesn't have is bells and whistles like fancy lighting. This is something I wouldn't want anyway but I know some of you guys are into that - if so you'll need one of the more expensive options. However, from the many many reviews I read, the perfomance of all of the 2060s is basically identical, regardless of alleged overclocking.Happy gaming.

I am incredibly impressed with this card.Price:performance is insane. The increase of performance from my old GPU (GTX 1060) is easily 4x.After reading some of the reviews on here I was sceptical of thermal performance but upon installing I stress tested using Furmark sitting at 95%-99% for an hour. As you can see from the picture max temps were 60°C.. that’s impressive for such short radiator fins. The fans are also surprisingly quiet! The clock speeds are 100MHz more than advertised too!I’m able to play most AAA games on Ultra/High @ 4K 100FPS+(My CPU is a i7-8700 @4.2GHz)As for blender 3D Renders. Obviously this isn’t a Quattro or Titan but rendering detailed scenes takes 1-10 seconds per frame (Eevee)and 1-2 minutes (Cycles).I cannot recommend this GPU enough, whether your a PC Enthusiast, Amateur Graphic Designer or Hardcore Gamer you wont be disappointed. If you were like me and trying to decide between a 2070 & this 2080, I would advise this one to everybody!

Seems good so far, on most games I can now properly crank up the settings. The only problem I found so far is minecraft. Yes, MINECRAFT. I get a 1% low of around 10 fps sometimes. My GTX 1050 was more stable here, offering around a 50 fps low. Might just be drivers though. Other than that, this card seems great. (I received it on the 23rd, at the time of writing this review it is the 25th.)EDIT: A black screening issue developed on this card and the replacement I was sent. Will update when solved.Edit 2: Problems mostly solved, still getting low FPS in certain games, but that is looking like a CPU bottleneck, as it mostly happens in games that mostly use CPU.

The card arrived and was packaged cleanly. I was amazed at how light it was considering I've heard that the RTX line of cards are considerably heavy, installation was a bit of a difficulty but that may be down to my inexperience and case design.Having previously had the GTX 960 in my rig I started it up and no drivers had to be installed at all, literally plug and play. Very quiet and heat hasn't been an issue so far. Brilliant card for the price, has doubled my performance in most games.

So I purchased this GPU as I was building a new rig. Paired it up with a ryzen 5 2600 and it works like charm for gaming. So far I've tested it on 3 games at max settings and I'm getting 60fps+ consistently with no drops (unfortunately I can only test at 1440x900 ATM as I'm still awaiting a new monitor).Personally would recommend if you don't want to pay extra for the rtx 2070/2080 but still want decent game play at max settings.

It's been 6 months and so far so good, great performance and the noise is barley noticeable compared to my last card (Radeon R9 380). My last card lasted 3 years before some stray hair got caught in the fans and messed it up, the build and material does seem to as good as the r9 but hopefully this lasts longer. BTW keep hair away from your graphics cards kids, you won't like the consequences.

Great graphics card for a great price. Can handle higher spec games at 2K resolution at least, on maximum graphics settings.

I don’t think I’m going to upgrade after this card for a long time. Absolute unit
