It doesn't work properly with one of my dimmer switches for incandescent light bulbs. When you switch off the dimmer the bulb continually flickers and there is nothing I can do to stop it. But the bulb works ok with another dimmer switch, so its a gamble whether this works or not. I tried a digiflux as well and got the same problem, so its not the fault of the bulb. The only reason I am deducting a star is because the digiflux dimmable bulb was slightly more compact than this Philips and was rated the same wattage.

+ starts off as a cool light but heats up to a nice bright warm light after a few minutes+ excellent power efficient replacement to replace incandescent bulbs+ dim function works really welluntil kinks with LED bulb technology are sorted going to be sticking with these!

I replaced some older dimmable lights with these. They have a much smother dimming action but do not go as dim as my old ones.
