A good bright and diffused light from this 15w led bulb. Attractive design make it ideal for large pendant light shades. Time will tell how realistic the 15 year expected life span proves to be. Light quality is suitably warm for a domestic setting without being too yellow. Only downside is the cost. £12 is expensive for a light bulb. Hopefully they will become cheaper when led technology becomes the norm

Good colour temperature, extra-bright. The usual LED advantages apply (it doesn't overheat, consumes much less energy, and hopefully will last for very long saving on replacement costs and effort). Used as a replacement 'bulb' for an IKEA uplighter.

I bought this to replace an 'energy saver' bulb in the kichen and it's great! I much prefer it as it is a lot brighter, comes on immediately, and looks better as it is a bit bigger and suites the lampshade better. Arrived very quickly in the post.

This was ideal for our dining room ceiling light that has just one bulb that is on display under the open shade. Looks good with quality light that comes on immediately and good energy saving as previous bulb was 100W.

Really strong bright light, quite warm, not bluish and cold, and it comes on immediately. It also looks good as a not too large globe. Makes a difference in the long winter evenings.

It gives one what it says. It is much better than the older lamps, but, does need a socket converter with U.K. sockets. Overall a great buy.

This lamp really is a replacement for a 100W incandescant bulb. They actually give the lumen output.
