I'm sure all would have been fine had I ordered the correct bulb. I got the wattage & the lumens correct as well as the fitment (E27).Of course, I was unaware of the significance of the K rating & there was no indication in the website other than 'cool white'. I now know through sad experience that there are degrees of 'cool white'. E.g I got K4000 which, compared to its sister bulb in the unit was distinctly yellow glow & not 'cool white'. I eventually managed to establish that I needed K6500 which will match my old bulb. It's now on the way but shoppers be warned 'cool white appears to have a range of K4000 to K 6500, getting cooler/whiter in ascending scale. Good luck !

This was exactly what was required. We had low energy bulbs - the sort that take a while to warm up and which never really get there. These are way better, and give a good strong light from the get-go. Obviously, because they are LEDs.Can't comment realistically on the longevity, given that this is review is a couple of months after they arrived. If they do fail, I'll update this review.We ordered two, and will definitely order more for other locations. They arrived in super quick time, too.

I’m stunned by this bulb. You pay for what you get. I’ve had this bulb coming up to 3 years now and it’s still going strong. It’s used in and outdoor night light which comes on on movement detection (which is very frequent as we’re on a well used road). It’s still bright and working perfectly. I tried at least 6-7 unbranded (Chinese) bulbs before and all either blew or died within months. This is easily the most reliable bulb I’ve ever used and well worth the money.

Very bright as advertised, most who advertise for 100w don't have a brightness to match, but the Philips Corepro is just right for what I needed.The colour of the light is a cool colour, cooler than a normal incandescent bulb but not daylight colour. I personally really like the colour and is the perfect balance of having warmth and giving a daylight feel.

Very bright but 4000k is way too blue in hue (though considered cool white) for a living room so it will go in the bathroom.It is therefore limited in where you can use it. However, it will be excellent to areas where bright whiter light is required like a garage or windowless hallways that require natural-like light.Has instant on.

Beautiful bulb, bright, white and the best bulb it’s 119 cm long. ,so it’s no good for a shade that’s enclosed,we love this bulb and it’s bright and lite up our room ,best bulb we have ever purchased , it arrived quicklyand well package, white light .brught and everything you need to light up your roomThanks amazon

These are exactly as described - 4000K 'cool white' LED bulbs, for an Edison Screw fitting. Give a clear light that is whiter than a standard (2700K) LED bulb, but not as harsh as a daylight (6000K) bulb. Good quality - you can't go wrong with Philips! Very quick delivery with good packaging.

I find that these screw-in bulbs by Philips give off a cool white light as per the productdescription.I use them in a free standing uplighter lamp and the bulb has a brighter glow than theoriginal bulb that was supplied with the lamp, and gives much more widespread brightnessover all.

I love it.If you want a very bright light and you want it as soon as you turn it on then this is the bulb for you.It is relatively expensive, but it seems to be worth the money.I haven't had any issues with it so far so will update if I do.Worth the money in my opinion.

Having tried the 10W version, I wanted to see the 13W work on a more demanding area.Superb. No preference between 10W and 13W, just different situations. Since the lamps aren't dimmable it's one or the other.Both recommended.

Very bright. Lights up the entire room evenly which means that the beam angle is quite big. My room is 25sqm so the lumen output was sufficient. The first bulb I ordered was faulty but I'm not knocking off any points for that.

I’d previously bought a cheaper unknown brand and it only lasted 2 months, so it proves that somethings you get what you pay for.These on the other hand are brighter better made and look better quality, very pleased.

When it is on you can't see the difference outside and inside light. Very similar to daylight as described. Very neutral and relaxing spectrum. Of course the the quality is ver good as it is Phillips.

Nice, bright light in a modern-feeling, pure white. Very bright indeed so make sure you need this level of brightness first. No issues having used for several months now

Excellent service and excellent quality this 100watt bulb is excellent especially for a dark kitchen that I have, would definitely recommend this Philips 100watt bulb.
