This bulb lasted 2 years and 7 months in a semi-enclosed pendant light used about 6 hours a day. The light quality is about what you'd expect from Philips domestic range. The bulb always remained cool to the touch. During its lifespan there was no noticeable reduction in light output unlike many led bulbs. There was a noticeable flicker like from cheap bulbs during the last 6 weeks before a sudden death.All in all this bulb compared unfavourably in lifespan to the last generation of CFL globe bulbs before they were phased out and the light quality was no better. I'm not convinced that this item won't be polluting some beach in the developing world in the near future. Would I buy another?

A very energy efficient replacement for a traditional 60w tungsten globe. Item is exactly as described. Expensive but should be very cost effective if it lasts as long as the manufacturer claims. Time will tell, but over the last couple of years I have had some LED bulbs lasting nothing like as long as claimed. I hope reliability is improving with the latest LED products.

Works as it should. This 60 watt equivalent replaced an old fashioned 100 watt. Had ordered the 100 watt equivalent but was blinded by light. A bit expensive for a bulb but hope it will live up to the "long-life" stories. My last old fashioned bulb lasted about two years which I thought was pretty good.

Excellent VFM I looked to buy from a very large DIY store and they were charging £10 for 1 - so waiting a day was well worth it - I’m finding the warm glow colour really relaxing in the evening in the lounge

Love this bulb in our IKEA up lighter, gives just the right amount of light without glare, love the fact that when you step back you can still see the top of the bulb.

Good looking bulbs, very bright, lights up my hall beautifully. Colour of bulb just as if it had been incandescent. Very pleased with them.

Gives a nice light, being a larger diameter bulb reduces the glare, and it's great to have low above the dining table.

The larger bulb shape gives of a decent amount of light looks good as it is installed in a large down lighter

Good value bulb delivered quickly and easily installed, but too late to konow how long it lasts for !

Certainly not cheap, but looks terrific and gives a great light. Love the fact that it stays cool.

Good quality bulb. Looks great too in my Arco floor lamp. So far is working and working well.

Looks good. Has a pleasant quality of warmish light. The best of its kind I’ve used yet.
