Hence, I thought of buying good bulbs that emits good light taking very less energy (energy saving bulbs). I did some research work and bought this bulb. It is a very well made bulb and is of very good quality. It is quite a big round bulb. It is big but still it looks absolutely perfectly round. Generally the more bigger it gets, the chance of its finishing reduces but not in this bulb's case. This bulb is very smooth with no rough edges. It emits good amount of light. Most of the energy saving bulbs I bought earlier, when switched on,

This is a really bright bulb that will illuminate a large room. It’s not the warmest of lights, but we didn’t want one that’s too ‘yellow’. Packaged well when received and looks a quality product. Check the dimensions when you buy at it’s a decent size, nearly 5 inches diameter. Used for around a week to date, so can’t say about longevity yet. I chose Phillips brand for reputation more than anything else, it’s probably a bit more expensive than many bulbs of this type but rather this than poor quality. In absence of update, it’s still working well.

This is bulb I have been hunting for.......it gives a jolly good beam of light and of an evening to sit and read by.........as I have only just purchased this bill I cannot really comment on the long life of the bulb........at the moment it does what I wanted from it. If need be I would buy it again

Well made quality product which looks good and provides an excellent warm white light. Unfortunately it was a bit too bright for the size of our room so we returned it via Amazon's exchange service and ordered the 15W version instead, which is just as good but not quite as bright.

Needed to replace an older energy efficient bulb in a large light fitting, these are a decent size (physically) and provide a good warm light with instant on (though I'd say there's a tiny delay to them coming on). Still early days so if they don't last the stars will drop.

A really big bulb for a big shade. Ours is over the kitchen table where we need plenty of direct light for working at table. Good shape looks very modern and well balanced.Would buy again. Had only been in use for few weeks so cannot yet comment on longivorty.

I bought this for a big room that had an oversized lampshade, it's big and bright which is what I wanted.The only improvement I would ask for is to make it compatible with a mains dimmer which would have avoided me replacing my dimmer with a switch.

Purchased this as a head for my daughters butterfly pendant light. Very bright. Perfect size. Only drawback is the writing on the base of the bulb. Unfortunately can’t hide this as it’s on both sides. Still a nice bulb.

Brightest bulb i've ever owned. Makes it feel like sunny summer even on the darkest of days. Do not hesitate, purchase it.15 year guaranteed!! Go 4 it.

Really impressed. Nice warm white, and an unusual shape. Provides a nice feature without needing a shade to provide decoration.I'd recommend.

Excellent flicker free bulb to light up our kitchen which only has 1 downlighting socket. If it really lasts 15 years it is excellent value!

Very powerful light bulb, exactly what I was looking for. I got 2 for my leaving room illuminating it perfectly. I do Recommend.

Impossible to comment as not been in service long enough. The bulb is a lot brighter than the original one.

Good bulb, lot of light, but... HUGE in size. It barely fitted my Ikea floor standing light.
