I wanted this for a bathroom ceiling light and this was one of only a couple of Hue lights that carried the correct IP rating for use in this area. My other selling point was that I wanted colour bulbs and the nice lady at Philips Customer Service recommended I buy this and remove the White Ambiance bulbs (which unscrew) and replace them with the new low profile GU10 colour bulbs. She was spot-on (excuse the pun) You can tell which are the new generation bulbs in that they carry the Bluetooth functionality and the symbol is visible on the box. Ok this became an expensive solution but I found another home for the white bulbs which were removed. Once set up it works brilliantly.

Added to the Hue lineup recently for the bathroom. Really pleased as I am with the rest of the range.
