Love. I’ve been searching a loooong time for a good travel backpack and I think I’ve finally found the one! Sorry travel backpack makers but most of the ones I’ve seen are ugly and bulky. This one is sleek and clean looking without compromising on function!Pros:- opens like a suitcase. I can’t even begin to explain all the ways in which this is convenient! Let’s you see everything and fits 4 medium travel cubes.- Zippers. These are quality heavy duty zippers. The interlocking feature is awesome.- Locking bar system is great and the flap that hides all the zippers is exactly what I’ve been looking for. You don’t need a separate lock though you can add one.It comes with a cable you could use to secure your bag to something.- Tuck away waist straps. I like that they can be tucked away for when you’re using the backpack as a duffle-type bag or are just not a waist strap kind of person- Water bottle holder. Most of the travel backpacks that open like luggage don’t have, or have really tiny water bottle holders! This one is big enough, and more importantly, deep enough, to hold a 40 oz hydroflask type water bottle.- Material. Super tough and durable.- Smaller compartment has a ton of pockets inside for keeping little things. There’s at least two zippered pockets inside which I love to keep things like keys, wallet etc- Fits under the seat!- Padded straps and back! You’ll need it for this bag!Cons (though definitely not deal breakers IMO!)- I would like a back pocket access maybe to access small things like a passport, wallet, earphones etc, it’s definitely a secure bag!- No laptop pocket. The next version should have a back out side access for this. I’ve traveled with a laptop in a sleeve and placed in the front compartment but a back out side access would be useful.- It’s a little heavy-ish. I’m 5’1” and when it’s filled it’s definitely heavier than your usual bag but I think that’s to be expected. Just prepare yourself if you’re like me and are used to stuffing a regular backpack.- It’s a little pricey but in the long run I feel like it’ll be worth it. Prior to this I’ve just used cheap bags that fall apart after a few uses.Overall, I’d totally recommend and would purchase it again!

This pack is a perfect carry-on size for someone like me, who travels light and never checks a bag. Even on an international flight, where airlines tend to police carry-on bags more rigorously, no one gave this pack a second look. It is comfortable to wear. While it does not have interior pockets in the main compartment, the pocket on the front of the pack is deep and held my bag of liquids, first-aid kit and other toiletries with no problem. It has all the Pacsafe features--RFID-safe pocket, locking zippers, etc. When the pack first arrived, there was a little loose stitching in one of the interior pockets, but instead of returning it I just reinforced it with my own limited sewing skills.While traveling in Costa Rica, I would put my tablet, extra money, passport and other valuables in this pack, then use the cable to lock it to the closet pole. With a little travel padlock, I could leave my stuff in the room knowing that only a thief willing to spend an extended period of time would get at it. I'm really please with this purchase, and would love to get the Venturesafe EXP65 for longer trips where I might check a bag.

My wife and I (both travelers to remote spots) love this back pack (we each have one) and use it as our exclusive travel bag for carry-on only travel. We use the very light weight Eagle Creek Specter Compression cubes from Amazon and have fit enough clothes for several 3 week trips so far (to Europe, Middle-East, Asia) without worrying about lost or unsafe luggage or bag slashers and thieves. We have upgraded our computer bags, day-trip bags, camera straps, and all our travel gear to PacSafe bags after such a good experience with this back pack. Highly recommend and worth the cost. Only draw back is carrying the weight on your back when stuffing with a lot gear but it sure beats dealing with the bulk and other draw backs of bags we have tried with wheels.We also have a collapsable duffle bag for when we buy too much stuff on our trips (fill the duffle with clothes and use the back packs for fragile items and gifts. So far has worked out great after 3 years of use. Even bought one for a gift after sister-in-law borrowed it and loved it.

Just bought this for a month long trip in Italy for the holidays. Perfect carry on, stuffed it with all the heavy items to save on checked bag weight and it was super comfortable. Used it as a day pack with the fam (7 & 1 1/2 yr olds) through Rome and Florence, and it held all the kids gear sweatshirts, baby stuff etc etc, plus our items and christmas shopping The secure zips are great for the train and tourist areas where pickpockets lurk. Used it as as day hiking backpack in the Cinque Terre and it was comfortable even on long 15 mile days. Used it snowboarding in the alps too. There lies my only tiny complaint..I wish they included a port for a water bladder/camelback.Super happy with my purchase,Top quality construction.

I used this backpack for a 3 week trip through Europe mind you, I packed for about a week & did laundry. This bag held up very well and was very comfortable to use. I’m 5’ 2”. It was a carry on size for the plane. I felt my items were very secure. On train rides where my luggage couldn’t be right next to me, I used the metal cord & brought a TSA approved lock to secure my bag to the luggage rack. Only downside- when main compartment is full it is difficult to get things in & out of the outer compartment without opening the main compartment. I do love how the main compartment opens like a regular suitcase. I used Eagle Creek Compression bags for my clothes

I decided to keep this backpack instead of returning it to Amazon. It feels sturdy enough to carry my camera gear when I go overseas and discrete enough to conceal that I am carrying valuable photographic equipment. I intendto purchase the Peak Design Travel Camera Cubes (Small and Medium sizes) to put, organize and protect myphotography gear (lenses, speed lights and camera) inside this backpack. The main reason why I bought this backpack is that the external measurements never exceed tha maximum allowable size for carry-on bags on international flights (22 inches x 14 inches x 9 inches).

I really like Pacsafe, but have defaulted to CabinMax when going transatlantic with a high carry-on weight limit (BA/AA etc).This really does the job well, although isn't the full carry=on size for BA. If I was taking the kitchen sink, then my cabinmax will have to come out again,Plenty of space in the main compartment, with a good laptop sleeve and place for documents etc.Not perfect, but does the job it's made for very well.Excellent construction and comes with a hawser to lock it up, should you need that level of protection.

This bag is very sturdy. It also has much more accessibility than the Pacsafe Vibe 40 Liter Anti Theft. That bag only opens as one large zipper but this is awesome because there is a smaller front pocket for items you need to access quickly then the bigger oyster open style large compartment can be left be with your clothing and items you want to leave packed up tight. I used this for a trip to Europe and it was awesome. It fits as a carry on for even the smallEuropean airlines.

Best carry-on backpack for security, perfect for travelling light. I have bough previously many items from pacsafe (sling bags, wallets, money belts) and I have always enjoyed to use them.This backpack is well made, discrete, solid and secure. I like the opening of the main compartiment for a quick access. The locking system is realy clever. Also it'is very comfortable to carry on your back and can be easyly and quickly tranformed in a kind of suitcase with 2 padded handles.

Used recently on a trip through Italy. There is no question the packs are very secure. As far as comfort even fully loaded the pack was comfortable to walk around with for over an hour even up and down stairs. There was also never any issue with using as carry on luggage. It fit well in the over head compartment and if not fully packed would probably even fit under the seat in front of you and used as a personal item. IMO they are worth the money.

The empty bag weight 1.8kg. So when you pack your stuff, with a pair of keen sandals, computer n accessories, it will weight 10kg easily for a 6 days travel, so you need to plan to carry light weigh clothes. Due to the exo mesh, you feel that you are backpacking a vault. However, you feel safe, this backpack really secure your stuff n provide some protection and security.

I went to Asia for a month and packed the living crap out of this pack. I place for everything in it. Clothing, electronics and a monster Mac laptop. I may have overpacked though...it was a little on the heavy side. Non the less, the strapswere relatively comfortable for the load ( my guess is 55 pounds-ish ) and still made it as a carry on to multiple aircraft.

Rather than one or two suitcases, I carried this on a trans-Pacific flight from Chicago to Auckland. I wore a bunch of clothes, which came off in layers while on the plane. I found this so easy and comfortable to manage. A friend recommended this to me, and I was never disappointed. Will use it over and over if we can ever travel again.Highly recommended.

I took this bag to Paris last year, and it was fantastic. Easy, secure, and comfortable. I wore it through the airport, onto the plane, and all over the metro without any issues.You can fit plenty in here, and traveling with just this as your carry-on is so freeing. Never going back to gigantic suitcases!

We had no hassles getting this on board multiple types of aircraft on a trip to Italy. It is designed very well and designed to guard against theft of the bag itself (lockable wire cable) and it is slash proof. It fits three days of clothes and can still be placed in the overhead compartments.
