I bought this pack because I was going to St Martin, and never once wanted to leave my money, passport, phone, etc. unsecured on a beach known for pick pockets. After reading some reviews of this product, I purchase a couple of LOKSAKs to use in conjunction with this pack, just in case it didn't keep my items dry.The first thing I'll review is the DRY BAG.I hike alot, so I know how to use a dry bag. You can know how to use one, too, if you just follow the directions that come with this pack. Put your stuff in, squeeze out the air, then fold and crease, fold and crease - after each fold, run your fingers down the crease to make sure its flush. When you're done and it rolled tight, clip the two buckles and you're good to go.Keep in mind that, as a backup, all of my stuff inside this dry bag were also contained in LOKSAKs. However, that extra caution was not needed as the dry bag worked flawlessly. I was in the water for 30-45 minutes with this dry bag, and when I opened it back on the beach, there wasn't one drop of water inside.Second thing - OUTSIDE POUCH:It's type 2 waterproof with a watertight zipper. I had stuff in this pocket while hiking in a rain storm in the rain forest, and it stayed dry. If submerged, however... the outside zipper pocket will fill with water.Third thing - DRINK HOLDER:I admit when I saw this, i thought it was gimicky. But then, I'm walking down the beach, beer in hand... and I think how wonderful it would be to have a cup holder to set my drink in while I take a picture. Problem solved. Then a group of people walking by saw the beer in my cupholder, and they acted like they had discovered the light bulb or something. Apparently, having a drink holder on your waist pack is a status symbol on the beach, and will make you the envy of all.To summarize, this pack did exactly what it was advertised to do. My thoughts are that anyone who had a bad experience may not have sealed the dry bag properly. If you're still worried after reading my review, spend another 10 bucks and get the LOKSAKs for added protection.I'm glad I have this - I FULLY SUBMERSED my stuff for a while, and this thing kept it all dry. Excellent product!

Used this for valuables when swimming in a group at the beach. It's quite big - it fit 5 phones and wallets easily. The actual bag can be removed from the strap which makes it quite a versatile product. The strap it comes with is quite thick and perfect for walking or doing an activity with, but for swimming I just swapped this strap out for a thinner one, and let the bag Bob around behind me with the strap around my shoulders. It was very buoyant even when it was very heavy, and we found it to be waterproof even for a long time, although occasionally I found that if I didn't dry off the outside at the top of the bag before opening it a few drips went inside.A great purchase that I will be using for any outdoor activities (hiking, canoeing). It's worth the money for the piece of mind that even if it chucks it down outside my phone and valuables will be fine, and that if I want to go swimming but have nobody to look after my valuables, I can just take them with me.

After checking out various Waist/Bum Bags I finally decided on this yellow version due to the increased visibily for use on my motorbike and as I wanted to be confident in using it in wet weather although I have still that one to test out fully ( not long 'til winter ;>))At first I wasn't sure about the Waist Pack until I fiddled about with it (I'd been rolling it downwards rather than up and back!!) so as it sat neatly against my waist. It can hold a decent amount of gear like purse (the small zipped front compartment just allows for a thin purse/wallet/bunch of keys)Large Main Compartment: phone, sunglasses, other odds and sods and a thick pair of socks and room to spare! It's a cool bit of kit with a versatile personality that I'm glad I chose over other run-of-the-mill bum/waist bags AND it can be used for more than just Water Sports!!

This is the third of these packs I have purchased, one for myself and two as gifts, and I am often asked where I got mine from. I go out on my SUP as often as I can and have had a few spectacular dismounts while wearing the pack and everything inside the main compartment has been kept totally dry. The zipper pocket at the front is and fine for keys and coins. If you roll down the top correctly as with all bags with this type of closure, then it is 100% water proof, I happily put my phone in there every time.On another note, I had a problem ordering the purple pack as I live outside the UK, so I contacted the seller. They were brilliant, responded quickly and sent one out to me in no time.100% happy with the pack and the service.

I was looking for a small waterproof bag to wear either round my waist or across the chest to carry my personal things whilst on our motorcycle (then I'm not pestering husband to route around in his bag)!!! This is a really nice bag and there is plenty of room for mobiles, glasses cases, wallet, keys etc. , and being totally waterproof could be used to put passports and booking documents in so they are ready at Customs. Plus a small pocket which contains a net pouch to put a small drinks bottle in. I was undecided whether to go for the 2l bag or 4l bag but decided on the smaller one rather than have one that was a bit more cumbersome. Can certainly recommend.

This is my third Overboard waist pack, not to say that they are poor quality. The first did have a fault and was replaced outside of warranty by OB. The replacement has now met its day after years of abuse, so on to this one. The design has changed again with the addition of a small outer change pocket and it feels better again from the previous models. It still has the drinks pouch and is not see through any more which is fine for me. This pack WIL keep your valuables dry whist out on your motorbike or whatever your chosen use is, good insurance for todays expensive phones!

I use this waist pack to complement my Northface duffel which does not have external pockets. It is very robust and the materials feels like quality. I strongly discourage immersing it in water as the front zipper is not waterproof. If you are planning to immerse it in water, make sure all the sensitive items are in the main compartment. Do not clip the main compartment to the side clips. Clip them together at the top like a normal roll-up dry bag. Water seeps in if the side clips are used.

I use this when I ride my bike. My old pack was not waterproof so if I got into some rain water would spray off my rear wheel and soak everything including my wallet, tools etc. Now I have peace of mind whenever there is a change in weather.I removed the waist support because I attach it to the underside of my seat. It is great that you can do this as I now have two products in one. I will convert the waist band for carrying small things that I would normally carry in my riding shirt.

Used this for about a year now and it's worked really well. Its big enough to pack my phone (which is in its on waterproof case just in case) and some small snacks and my keys. There's also two little pockets on there maybe you could fold up a foldable rain mac or something like that. It's great for the essentials and you barely feel like its on your waist. Great quality bag, buy my waterproof bags from overboard. Would recommend

the overboard waist drybag is a top quality piece of kit the main compartment is 3 ltrs when open, when closed to keep the water out it"s more like 1.5 liters and was not as big as i was expecting the water bottle holder is also on the small side my nalgene bottle was too big for the water bottle holder but a small 0.5 bottle or a can of drink will fit, good quality but i was expecting it to be a bit bigger.

Well designed and made bag. Not tested in very wet conditions yet but would always double up with an extra dry bag. Love the zipaway bottle holder - it takes an 800ml bottle easily. Belt is long if needed with a comfortable clasp. Like that belt can be removed. 4L is a great size for daily carry when out and about in/around water.

Perfect for carrying all your valuables including money, credit cards and even a large smart phone - you can swim with this and it is perfectly waterproof (tested) and the usual high quality from Overboard one comes to take for granted (we have two rucksacks and two VHF radio cases which are also waterproof and float!)

There are not many waterproof waist packs around so I only had a small short list of waterproof waste bags which I could also take a waterproof jacket. I have taken this out for a couple of spins and it has performed great. The yellow colour also adds to your visibility in cloudy (which has to be a good thing)

This was bought for a Christmas present for my mother in law, we paddle board often and she has recently got her instructing qualification. This bag is convenient and a perfect size to keep everything you may need on the water.
