to give you an idea of my palette, I love medium/strong craft beer IPA 5-7% (anchor steam, Sierra Nevada, Punk, Elvis juice ..), strong Pimms; very smooth whiskeys like Penderyn, gin & tonic; which seems to have exploded as a specialty over the last few months. So Ouzo 12 in a tall glass with lots of ice has been a firm favourite of mine on our many holidays to Greece, Rhodes, Crete over the years. While trying to lose a few kilo's our PT advised stopping beer and mixers and if we had to have a drink-drink to have a small spirit, fewer calories etc.... So Ouzo 12 has become my new favourite tipple in England.. can't find it in the shops near me so Amazon books do a cheeky line in EVERYTHING so here i am buying it on prime,

for some annoying reason i must get a text message frm amazon before i can leave a review ? why is that . If your having tapas . mezethes or similar than ouzo is an ideal companion . a taste of summer but will also be an excellent accomaniment to hams, sausages . olives, cheese squid etc , can be emsulsified with ice . better than anise, raki or grappa in my opinion ( which i also love) if you go to Greece dont forget to try ( and bring back ouzos cosusin tsipouro )

I really loved this drink! It is same as Turkish Raki, I can't tell the difference. It is sooo good with a couple of ice cubes or with ice cold water as you shouldn't drink it without them. Yes water, put Ouzo in a glass, fill it with water, should be about half/half. It will turn into white colour and will be the best drink ever!

Best drink ever especially if you like liquorice. Goes well with blackcurrant and also blueberry smoothie as a long refreshing drink. Great with coke/pepsi too. A great all rounder drink. Great as a cocktail. Even used in food dishes.

I get a bottle of this every summer, after several holidays in Greece. It's dead cheap out there, so it's a bit of a shock when you see how much it costs, but it's difficult to get hold of at all, so never mind

Absolutely wonderful !Fantastic Flavour and certainly goes well with lemonade , would recommend that you DO NOT PUT IN FREEZER as it leaves little ice crystals floating around in it.So Chill do not Freeze

I wanted some ouzo to give to a friend. The service was excellent and the bottle arrived on time. "12" is a bit of a commercial brand but you can't go wrong with it. It is ouzo in its honesty.

This was a birthday gift. The product is known to the recipient as good. Was disappointed that the Birthday note requested was however NOT included by Amazon ?

The product will be fine but it was irritating to have to provide birthdate information on delivery to prove I am over 18 - I am 74 years old.

What can be said about Ouzo! Apart from drinking it at home isn’t the same, just have to use your imagination and think you’re in Greece!

Outstanding value and I personally enjoy this Ouzo very much one of my favourites would highly recommend this Ouzo for price and taste.

Best Greek ouzo, take it from a Greek. Served with ice and either non fizzy lemonade or alternatively with sour cherry juice. Try it!

What's to say about Ouzo - you either love it or hate it! This one is good and reminds us of happy Greek holidays in the sun.

By far the best ouzo I have tasted outside of Greece. Smooth and full of flavour. Will be buying again in the future.
