I was so happy to try this tequila from Cazcabel. The presentation of this delicious tequila is fantastic, it comes in a glass bottle, the embossed art on the glass is very elegant and unique. The brand Cazcabel sounds like a name of a Mexican village but actually the drink is made from local sourced agave in a micro distillery in the town of Arandas, the name Cazcabel comes from Don Cazcabel who was making his natural tonics somewhere in a hidden corner of the Jalisco Mountains. The Reposado means that is aged in oak barrels for more than minimum of a years. From the toasted barrels got a light golden hue. After I’ve poured the tequila into a glass a light aroma of caramel and cinnamon aroma can be smelt over the glass. After my first sip I taste the oaky flavour, caramel and some dried fruit. To drink, I would suggest to drink it on its own as is a sin to mix this premium tequila with anything else, just take a small sip of tequila straight and enjoy or if you think it’s too strong for you than you can try it with some lime and salt. After every sip or two, dip your wedge of lime into a small amount of salt and suck on it.Price-wise Cazcabel is very competitive and affordable to buy. Cazcabel is definitely a great tequila, and from me deserves a 5-star rating.

Me and my wife are big fans of Patron XO Cafe, and have been for some years, so I was dubious that this stuff could be as good because the other coffee tequilas and liqueurs we have tried are never nearly as nice as Patron. However it's fair to say that not only is this the equal of Patron, but it's currently our favourite (and we have done a fair bit of research in our house with the two side by side). We have an unbreakable rule regarding spirits in our house, which is if you do one shot you have to do another - it's the law. This had been helpful for our taste tests on Cazcabel and Patrol, and we've had plenty of time to compare the two.Cazcabel just pips Patrol by a whisker - Patron is ever so slightly stronger but this one has a slight edge in flavour. One bonus is that Cazcabel is marginally cheaper too - not by a huge amount (as I write this it is about £3 difference a bottle, so nothing too amazing) but as it's our new favourite that a bonus. If you are a fan of Patron, or even just tequila or coffee, then you should certainly give this a go as the chances are you will love it.

Its a rich dark creamy coffee, syrupy and dense - with the added ninja kick of the tequila following behind. My bottle arrived yesterday and it really wont last long.Having never had this before I was a little meh, having had experiences of tequila they usually end up in a bad way and its always been the last drink to turn to but this, this is WOW.I am a gin girl at heart, a cupboard full of them but now .. well now they are all demoted to the back. This is the new guy in town and he wont last long! I need more...a herd of this stuff. The bottles look ace, the drink is next level yum and the price is awesome. I am now a tequila-vixen!If you want it, get it - before I buy them all!!

Not a drink I’ve had before so wasn’t sure what to expect. I really know nothing about drinks, just a causal drinker, so this is just my opinion. When sipped neat, I found this to have a floral flavour but it didn’t linger. Not knowing what it was going to taste like/should taste like, I actually found this like a very strong and dry white wine with a hint of a mild whiskey. I then mixed it with some lime sugar syrup and this seemed to give the drink some more body. There are some cocktail ideas listed on the amazon page I may try. Possibly best supped with a mixer, but also reasonable over ice. Pleasant but not outstanding, for me.

Like other say this is sweet and you can taste the honey. i bought this as i like margaritas and to make them properly you need simple syrup which can be a pain to make so i thought id go for this as being sweet to save making the syrup.. so half each of lime and a lemon juiced then 2 shots of this and 2 shots of triple sec or Cointreau jiggle in a shaker with ice for 20 seconds then pour and hey presto one of the best margaritas you can have or if you want a frozen one just blend with 6 ice cubes or just pour over crushed ice.honest try it and i bet you will want another hic

I'm not a massive Tequila drinker but I do enjoy the odd session on the slammers but I thought this time i'd try something a little more sophisticated so I got some pineapple juice & lime juice, crushed a load of ice up added it all in and gave it a shake up, wow it was too nice, I mean really gluggable. The flavour of the tequila wasn't too overpowered by the juices, it still had quite a kick.I understand this is not a pure tequila but a mixto with other ingredients but it does the job for me (hadda hooow)

Absolutely gorgeous flavour, tastes like Ambrosia. Being Tequila based I expected this to be a little brash, but far from it. The aroma is very intense, like concentrated honey. Was not dissapointed, the bottle is also very nice wih intricate relief pattern, and it has a nice cork stopper which sounds like a little celebration every time you pop it open. Ive been dissapointed with some Meads I have had in the past, and this tastes like I feel Mead should taste, All hail Cazcabel GOD of the Honey Bee!!

I am by no means a fan of tequila, I absolutely hate it, but during a visit to Noah’s yard bar in swansea, I bit the bullet at tried some!Wow, this isn’t the fire water tequila that I know! This stuff is mellow, smooth and has beautiful tones of caramel and most certainly does not burnIt is deceptively smoothThis is certainly not like any tequila I know and it’s not a watered down version either, at over 30% alcohol, it’s strong stuff!I’ll be buying more of these as gifts

I prefer mine in a cocktail such as Tequila Sunrise, rather than neat but this is one I enjoy neat. Good value compaired to many others. Nice sweet Caramel with hints of spice and pink pepper notes and smoky smooth. If you have never tried it on it's own I would give it a go to sip on with a dash of salt and a slice of lime – the salt to reduce the burn of the tequila and the sour fruit to enhance its flavour.

It's been a long while since I drank tequila as i was finding them quite unpleasant. I thought I would try a honey version and I was not disappointed, it's sweet and smooth. The honey flavours are rich. It's good enough to drink neat, I also tried the cocktails suggested in the listing and they were also delicious. However if you don't like sweet drinks and are a tequila officianado this may not be for you.

I love my margaritas and have been trying blue agave tequilas on a budget. I have just tried this and compared to the Jose Cuervo Especial Silver, 70 cl it is sooooo much smoother and delicious. I'm struggling to drink the Jose cos it has such a harsh taste in comparison. if you want a very decent but reasonably priced 'special' tequila ( for those treat yourself times) this is the one to go for!

Having had two bottles of this over the Christmas period I have to say this is by and far the best liqueur I have ever had, on it's own it is like nectar from the gods with the lovely warmth of tequila, I can't recommend this highly enough. Had it in Belushi's in Covent Garden back in the summertime and every drop is fabulous. Five stars without a doubt.

Some people will dislike this as it is quite sweet. If you like Drambuie for instance, then you will probably like this. Do not let the fact that it is made from tequila put you off. This does not taste like tequila. It is like a warming shot of mild coffee - like a liquid coffee cake with a slight kick. A very nice liqueur and definitely worth trying.

Very, very sweet! If that's your cup of tea... Or cup of tequila... Then this is for you! To me, it makes my lager taste of honeycomb (as I make my own desperados) and it's nice as a shot to get to sleep! It's a very unique flavour, very tasty and very nice but very, very sweet! Worth a pop though if your a Tequila lover!
