Delicious, 'real' tequila!I've never been much of a tequila drinker, prefer my scotch usually, but my wife is. She had only ever had the usual well-known brand from supermarkets though (me too) so I thought I would treat her with a bottle of the real thing and have a Mexican night.Being made from 100% agava (the thing that makes tequila tequila) this has a much different and better flavour than the well-known supermarket brand, which is definitely *not* 100% agava.In short, it's well tasty. While it went perfectly with salt and lime (and chili flakes if you do it the Mexican way) it's a perfectly sippable drink neat or with just an ice cube, just like a decent scotch.

Amazing. My bottle, the same, was purchase from where it was made, in Mexico. I’d tasted tequila before and didn’t really like it. I’m a whisky, brandy or rum drinker - all top end ones only! When asked to taste this, thought it would be horrid, boy was I surprised, it’s smooth easy drinking stuff, and I’m panicking at seeing the bottle slowly go down like no other bottle has...I’m a rare drinker, but this has definitely made me want to have a little tipple of it more often. Which is why I’ve googled it to find where I can buy more...and I’m delighted to find it’s here! So don’t all buy it quickly, save a bottle for me as I’ll be needing one in about 4 weeks time.

My criteria when purchasing Tequila is primarily to not need lime, lemon, salt, cinnamon, coffee or anything with it to enjoy it fully - it should be a pleasure to drink (and sip!) unadulterated. Unfortunately this didn't quite meet that mark, I have enjoyed other tequila a lot more - perhaps it's because this is Reposada, I'm unsure. It's still delicious but drinking neat made me screw my face up. That said it's way better than any nonsense you'll find in supermarkets :)TOP TIP: Get a piece of orange, dip in fresh ground coffee or cinnamon - bite into that after a shot, absolute winner.Please hit 'yes' below if you found my review helpful :)

If you don't drink this already it might be better not to start as it is very enjoyable either on its own or in cocktails. As far as tequila goes this one is reposado which means it's a nice colour and as tasty as the Valpolicella Ripasso you can get at a bargain price in Aldi. There is something slightly indescribable about the hit from tequila and some people I know get quite frisky from it in ways that other spirits do not manage. Anyway, give it a whirl and see if that happens to you. Since my name is Jim it also looks like I prepared it specially...

Out of the 4 bottles of Tequila that we consumer on our Mexican themed evening this was by far the best. Having recently visited Mexico we were reliably informed by authentic Mexicans that the way TV and Film depict drinking Tequila shots is all wrong, below is the 4 step process we used and the chilli flakes really add to it :Step 1 : Dip a slice of lime in salt then in chilli flakesStep 2 : Take a small bite of the limeStep 3 : Drink the Tequila shotStep 4 : Eat the rest of the limeHappy drinking ! Terrific stuff. Totally bought this on its rating so was a little apprehensive.Thank you to previous reviewers. Jimador is lovely light smooth Tequila. It is without doubt the best tequila I have ever imbibed and have been Tequila enlightened. Needs no mixer and does not have thr horrendous aroma or taste of the supermarket stuff that come ad Gold or Silver.Really am enjoying Jimador and will be buying again.

I bought this for my brother for his birthday. I was looking for a bottle of tequila that was nicer than your average 'off the shelf in the supermarket' kind that he would have had before and this really hit the spot.It was a really nice tequila, smooth with a crisp flavour unlike other tequilas we've tried. And the price was brilliant - cheaper than lower standard tequilas.

This is a delightfully smooth sipping tequila that glides over the tongue. If you use it for shots you won't want to hurry it. I haven't tried mixing it with anything but enjoyed it neat with the salt and lime wedges although those were maybe superfluous. I'm glad I tried it and I enjoyed it as much as tequila I've had costing twice as much

The cheapest 100% agave Tequila you can buy. Everything else at this price is a 'mixto' (minimum 51% agave which will taste oily and dirty - the kind of stuff that gives tequila a bad-name.) El Jimador is cheap but decent 'proper' tequila. Basic level and quality enough for sipping, shots or cocktails.

taste good. nothing special. A bit disappointed though as I thought would be better.Nevertheless if you compare it with brands like Patron that is more expensive this is a good buy.I will prob try something else but if I would find it on discount for sure I'll buy it again.

Just opened the bottle to make the women of the family Margaritas. The unmistakeable smell of 100% agave, this is a very good Tequila, had a cheeky sip of it, it is very smooth, with a good length of flavour. At this price, I wouldn't go anywhere near a Jose Cuervo again.

Such a surprise, I needed a good but budget tequlia and ordered this based on previous reviews. I expected a good tequila but got a brilliant one, there is a good reason this is the No. 1 selling tequila in Mexico, it is simply stunning for the price.

Bought this for my friend Meredith, I'm in Switzerland, she's in Seattle folding teeny tiny socks and drinking tequila - now that's a team! People often ask us if we ever..... you know, but ewwww no, we screw boys like whores on tequila, so NO!

As far as mixers go, this is a good quality mixer, great to have in the cupboard alongside an Anejo. If you plan on using this as a mixer it will knock those you can buy at mainstream supermarkets out of the park.

For an entry level 100% agarve it's decent,an decent price,never ever drink that rubbish with the sombrero hat or the Jose whatever it's called ,it's not tequila,like the bells or grouse of whiskey...vile!
