REVIEWREAD THE MANUALOn purchase of the product, its important to take the time to read the manual to acquaint yourself with the device. The booklet takes you through the setup to set up Age in the form of DOB, Height, Weight for a couple of users.USER SELECTIONOnce setup, the user is selected via a 2-position switch on the device main panel for user 1 or user 2.FITTING THE ARM CUFFI purchased the XL cuff version with max size at 42cm. It was a comfortable fit. The Cuff is constructed in a slightly stiff pre-formed Curve which assists in maintaining the circular shape around the arm & maintains a good first-class contact.START/ON OFFAs with most machines in its class the device is switched on via a simple on off start button.The process of turning on the device also triggers the start, so try to avoid the natural temptation to press start/On Off before you have fitted the cuff to the arm. This would give you an odd reading or error code, all of which are explained in the manual.DISPLAYThe display panel is not fantastic, with no Back Light. A simple led Crystal black on Grey is displayed. (My opinion only) This could be vastly improved with a colour back lit display which would make the product feel more modern, easier to read with colour code to match that of the App.THE APPAs an IT guy, I purchased this device because it attaches to the Omron App. The App connects to the device via a Bluetooth interface. The Product can be temperamental in its connection to Bluetooth devices, but it works well when its linked.The App grabs the data & displays the Key 3 data facts, Pulse & the 2 blood pressure measurements.Tapping the measurement opens a Graph that can be displayed in 3 forms, Day, Week or Month.One can scroll between the days & the display changes date & reading data. In my Opinion this is not a clear-cut display & can confuse initially – this should be improved in terms of the user interface, that said, one can see the details & look back over the history.DOWNLOADSThe App has an interface for downloading its data to excel which at the time of writing has not been fully tested as there is insufficient data to examine at this time.OVERALL SUMMARYThe product has a quality feel from a manufacturing point of view, it is relatively simple to use provided you read the manual. The cuff feels comfortable & the semi rigid preformed nature assists in the fitting. Readings while in Black on Grey are functional but, in my opinion, not as good as they could be, colour & backlight would be a vast improvement, but I guess this will impact the price (I would be happy to pay the difference. The app interface is a little sluggish & delay in connection can take 20 to 50 seconds occasionally. The data & history are good for tracking progress. All in All it’s a good product & does what it is supposed to but minor enhancements & improvements would helpAMAZON NOTEMy product was delivered by Amazon with the shipping Label applied to the consumer Packaging & no other box or shipping protection was provided. This exposes the item inside to theft when in Transit & I feel is risky. Amazon must weigh the losses against the savings card boxes, I guess. Higher risk of Damage & loss which in my opinion is POOR.

My wife felt as though her heart was beating incorrectly at times. I found this B.P. Monitor on Amazon and it seemed to have all the functionality she needed. The only problem we had was syncing it with my wife's iPhone 6S but that turned out to be a lack of available storage. The phone said the app for the Omron was not supported but when she looked into it the lack of storage was the issue. When she had removed a lot of photos it was fine. My wife did both normal B.P. checks and AFib for a week and they showed both irregular heartbeat and AFib on occasions. My wife rang the doctors and due to the evidence she could quote from the monitor went straight in for an ECG and blood tests.

Having read up on BP instruments and reviews it was clear that accuracy and repeatability was not a foregone conclusion. I therefore went for a renowned brand and a higher end model. Getting one that you're not sure is providing an accurate reading is worse than not having one. The whole point of getting the instrument was to monitor BP reliably and be alerted when the person's BP trend deteriorated. Paying more was therefore justified and important. This has AFib which I assume is also a good thing. It also can take an average of three readings which, again, instills more confidence in the accuracy.Bluetooth works fine. Easy to set up and the App is well designed allowing trend to be viewed for 2 people.Accuracy not rated,

My GP understably stopped blood pressure checks during the Coronavirus isolation and suggested buying a personal BP monitor. I wanted something with Bluetooth to maintain a record, but as the price went up with each option I looked at, I decided to go for this one that provided a heart rhythm check too. The screen is huge, the cuff is long enough for my big arms and basic functions and the Bluetooth setup are pretty straightforward.I knocked one star off ease of use, purely because some of the functions are hidden behind two buttons pressed or long presses that aren't immediately obvious nor easy to remember (don't throw away that instruction book).

Was due for an upgrade from my 3-year-old M2 Comfort. Decided to go with most feature rich version with the hopes of getting more accurate readings. So far, it’s going alright.The Afib mode is great - takes 3 readings with a 30 seconds rest in-between and gives you the average. Certainly helps in providing a more accurate reading.Bluetooth works fine. You'll need to install the Omron connect app, in order to connect.Typically have my BP readings saved on Samsung Health app, and its' really great that I can link the Omron connect app to Samsung Health - which saves me from manually entering the data all the time (I know, first world problems). It was easy to set up by following the instructions carefully, and easy to use. The small but adequate guide booklet is of the modern pictorial plus brief words type. The Omron Connect mobile phone app was easy to install too and works perfectly with both my Android 8 and my wife's Android 7 phone (both Samsung Galaxy A3s, so not new phones; the app information says it will accept Android 6 too).Most of the reported faults given by the low-star rated reviews (which I always read as well as some of the high-rated ones) are not true for the model I bought. Bought this for my parents. After researching many makes, models and functions, I came across this blood pressure monitor. I have heard the name Omrom before and reviews show them to be a reputable company.Very happy with this product and the build quality is amazing, especially when it was on offer. Nice solid build no cheap plastics used and a nice big and easy to read display, especially for my parents. The pressure cuff’s made of high quality materials and has a clear picture on it on how it should be used.Very simple to assembly and use, the display makes it easy to read the results. Very helpful that you can have 2 dedicated users and have your records stored in memory for comparison.

As a self confessed Technophobe! This blood pressure monitor, is absolutely Fantastic and so easy to use! The app was a doodle to set up, even for me! I hadn't realised, I could send my blood pressure readings for a particular time span, by email direct to my Doctors surgery! The email contains ALL the required & relevant information, including professional graphs? of all the readings! My Doctors receptionist and the Doctor, both passed comments on how professional, the Blood pressure, reading information and graphs were! Asking which blood pressure monitor it was! I have found the actual device excellent although a lot heavier than I expected but that is not a problem. I would happily give the device 5 stars but it is very badly let down by the enclosed instructions and online support information. It took many emails to eventually find out that in the UK it can't be linked to your PC just your phone but apparently in the USA and Canada it could have linked via Omron Wellness. Getting the info to the pc involves creating a report on the phone app and then emailing it to myself and then manually entering it into a spread sheet I have had to design myself. Even getting the initial bluetooth connection to my phone took a lot of time and many failed attempts.

I was recommended this device (X7) by my doctor to monitor my wife's blood pressure. It appears to do a good job from my limited experience of such devices. It as 2 main users and a guest user. It records 100 entries for the 2 main users, and these results can be uploaded to cloud storage. It also as an app, that is easy to set up and pair to the device. The app suggests a morning and evening test, and keeps a nice and clear display of the results. The app is very well designed and easy to get familiar with. This unit also as a dedicated heart beat monitor, which is a good addition. Overall I'm happy with this device and the price paid for peace of mind and a possible early warning of something not right with our health.

I don't often take the time to write reviews but this blood pressure monitor is really excellent and so easy to use. It connects really well to our Iphones and is pretty comfortable to wear on the arm. We have a variety of arm sizes here at home and the arm band is just perfect, even for a very small arm. There are 4 of us in the family and the only negative in this machine is that you can only have 2 'connected' users. The solution is to measure those who don't need their blood pressure monitored so regularly in 'guest mode', which means that the machine doesn't save the result or send it to your iPhone. I would strongly recommend this product.

My hubby likes the new type arm fitting sleeve. Good machine for blood pressure and seems accurate. The afib function is a bonus as my hubby has heart problem. Ideal to link with mobile phone via the app and bluetooth. I trust Omron as I bought the Omron nebuliser for my hubby's copd which has been great. Takes some getting used to as the instruction booklet was not easy to get through. That needs vastly improving. Caused us both to get annoyed. We nearly sent it back for a simpler version but persevered. The app is ok but thought the info could also be improved upon. Time will tell as we get used to it.

I never thought I would need one of these at home, then you get old !!!.Purchased to trend twice daily measurements. Due to inbuilt software, plus the Omron phone app, you are able to store, trend readings. I have been using this for about a month, readings are very similar to the GP Omron unit.Connection to phone to sync data, can be a bit flaky, suspect this is phone not unit related. Reboot phone then bluetooth syncs as is should.Printouts from the app give you exactly the data the GP requires for long term analysis.In built memory feature, allows you to look back through previous readings on the unit, without needing to use the phone app.Bonus, 2 user, plus guest.

Purchased for my parents after one of them suffered a stroke. Device can take both blood pressure and heart readings with a high degree of accuracy (including taking an average accross three consecutive readings) and was comparable with the doctors readings. These can be saved to a mobile / tablet device via bluetooth or manually and will help build up stats showing anomalies including heart defects. This prevented a second stroke as it allowed my father to flag up his concerns to the doctor who reviewed the readings on his tablet and then validated them with his own device. Would strongly recommend this to anyone who wants to proactively monitor their health and keep ontop of issues before

I'm happy with the build quality of the device. The screen is big and easy to read. It gives me a very professional feel during the measurement.It's definitely a device you can trust.My original comment mentioned that the bluetooth connection was unsuccessful and so I was not able to utilise the smart phone apps to monitor the trend. Now, I have to give an update. The bluetooth connection is indeed working if you choose the correct country in the Apps. This is something other buyers from other countries need to be aware.The Omron apps are also be able share data with Apple Health app (if you are an iPhone user) which make even better.
