When purchasing a bottle (50cl) of my favourite whisky liqueur - Atholl Brose - a friend said I should try Stroma - his favourite. I looked on Amazon and ordered it and would say that delivery was very quick. Strange that this can be posted yet so many other less liquid or at least less viscose items cannot be sent by post! I have tried my favourite Atholl Brose alongside Stroma tonight and:-Stroma smells more like a neat whiskyAtholl Brose smells more like a liqueurBoth taste like a liqueur, but Stroma tastes if there's some neat whisky mixed with it (my impression)Neither are as sweet as Drambuie or Glayva, which to me are far too sweet.I note that Stroma has just gone up in price from the £22 I paid to over £25.

I first came across this in Scotland as it’s made in the north around Wick by the Old Poultney distillery. I’m a fan of Drambuie so thought I would give this a try. This is sweeter than drambuie and absolutely gorgeous if you like a sweet liqueur whisky has become my new favourite. Once back in England I sadly found it was not available so I purchased this one online and it was still worth the extra in postage. Cheers!

Wow I have tasted 100’s of very fine Malt Whiskies in my 62 years but this has them all beat, it’s so smooth and does not have that kick back you normally get. Give it a try, may I Suggest you try it with ice or a tad of ginger ale but don’t go drowning it because it taste beautiful. Just play self and a very little as you can always add more as required. It was Very well packaged. I have recommended it to my friends.

Beautiful smooth whiskey based liqueur. I visited the distillery a few weeks ago and had a sample and was hooked! I've already bought a second bottle (duty free at Gatwick in their special whiskey shop - I didn't expect them to have it and at £16.00 a bottle it was great value!)

Well if you like your whiskey liqueurs and have never tried stroma then get trying, it has such a strong warming kick it now is my hipflask favourite and with a sweetish thick flavour the bottle doesn't last long with it only coming in a 500ml bottle unfortunately.

So I did enjoy a Drambuie and of course a Rusty Nail. This by Old Pulteney is absolutely fantastic, and nearly half the price. Not overly sweet and a deeper flavour, the whisky really coming through on the tongue after you swallow. Fantastic.

Well it's whisky and a liqueur, need I add any more, it's smooth and delicious. PS - I always add a slosh of whisky to my gravy it perks up the gravy and makes you clean up your almost empty plate afterwards

This is a reletavely unknown liquer that should be tried and enjoyed by all.Best served in a whisky tumbler rather than a liquer glass, it has a lovely smooth taste and even better, is readinably priced.

Bought this on a recent visit to Scotland it is very smooth - I’m not a Whiskey drinker but this single malt liquor is amazing, so this was bought as a Christmas treat for my husband! And me to share!!!!

Opened this one at a small party we had and the guests loved it so much that it went in a night. Very easy drinking and so smooth that you cannot believe that it is from a single malt.

Freat liquor for whisky lovers - not sickly sweet just a great smooth taste with some sweetness .Mix with Old Pulteneywhisky for a really good RUSTY NAIL cocktatail :-)

purchased this for christmass everyone loved it,wish they sold a 1l bottle.however due to covid they no longer supply n ireland as i have tried to reorder

Bought as a valentines present for my husband. Arrived quickly and well packaged. Bottle looks very smart and my husband has been enjoying the whisky.

good value .my only negative remark is that i dont think it is really appropiate to ask for age i.d. for people of the older generation. x

Have enjoyed this product for some years, the only whisky liqueur that I find to be completely smooth with the most delicious flavour.
