Bought as a direct replacement for the CPU fan of an old - 5 to 7 years - HP Compaq 8000 Elite ( small form factor desktop Mini-PC).Unfortunately although slightly quieter than the original fan I aborted the change. Reason being that with this fan in place I realised the noise I was hearing is actually more a consequence of the air flow required for a 65watt processor within the case. Simply put the air flow through the front grill and then the CPU heat exchanger was most of what I am hearing, the fans themselves produce little noise on idle. Which is a shame as I have a 17watts (Intel Cel-1037U)

Best fans you can buy, no longer even consider any other fan make as they are only playing catch up. Yes it's a premium price and yes there are cheaper fans that perform close.. but these fans come with a 6 year warranty meaning they are very confident on build quality. Over packaged for a fan but it's indicative of the quality in the box...Still they need a 200mm and some more colour options.

Beautifully quiet and effective fan. I fitted this in a small HTPC case and it works brilliantly.The colours are boring, though, but that's not really the point.
