I never normally bother leaving a review but I felt I should as this product has some pros but also some cons. And with things like case fans these need to be addressed.First of all. Fitting the damn things. I don't know who at corsair thought it would be a good idea not to pre thread the screw holes. You have to thread them with the screws which if you are like me and don't have an electric screwdriver is a pain and requires a fair bit of effort. The amount of pressure I put on the fans doing it, I was convinced I was going to break them, and turned a ten minute job of fitting four fans into a 1 hour job. So keep that in mind.Appearance is stunning. I got mine in blue and they match perfectly with my case. The leds are not in the fans blades but are around the interior wall of the fans, and the lighting effect is how it is in the pictures. Genuinely love the look of these. And the biggy. Noise. This is a bit of an odd one. At low RPM's they are super quiet, like. Practically silent, and around the 1,100 mark is when they become slightly audible. But still perfectly fine. However for some odd reason. When they spin up to full wack, it's like the second coming is happening inside your case, they are insanely loud. If you plan on connecting them using molex and having them on full power all the time avoid these fans as they are deafing. Like genuinely absurdly loud, I had stock fans in my case before which weren't the quietest things in the world but they are nothing compared to the racket these things make. However if you are like me and have a fan controller (which i absolutely recommend purchasing, I bought an NZXT sentry 3 and it's perfect for my needs) which means they never really go over 70% speed anyway, these fans would be good for you.Overall. These fans are great. They are a faff to get fitted, and without the right equipment it sounds like a tornado is blowing through your case, but if you have the ability to control their speeds to turn them down a notch they are perfect. Plus. They have lights. Who doesn't like things with lights

(Plugged in directly to power supply)2 stars. Pushed out plenty of air, but were very loud. I had to unplug them after 5 minutes of use because their level of sound production hugely out-weighed the few degrees cooling benefit in my rig. These are the furthest things from "Quiet". Little bit disappointed in Corsair...(Plugged in to motherboard with a splitter)Much more pleased with the level of sound - with headphones on, I cannot hear a difference in sound at all. Still not extremely quiet, but much more acceptable than when plugging them straight in to the power supply - I advise anybody looking to build a quieter system to make sure they can plug these in to their motherboard either to a spare fan header or with a splitter. All these lower starred reviews I would probably think have plugged these fans in to the PSU directly and experienced, like me, the fans constantly at full blast. The fans, now plugged in to my motherboard, are at a comfortable noise level and keep my system a good 5-10 degrees cooler. Upgrading my star rating from a 2 to a 4.

Needed nice exhaust fan for my case with red lights to keep with the overall red/black colour scheme. This one does the job well and is virtually silent in operation even though it's NOT PWM fan so the revs are more or less fixed/ adjustable in steps = 25%, 50%, 75%, full blast (depends on your motherboard as well). Got it set at 50% revs and it is barely audible but if you ramp it up to 100% then you'll definitely know it is there ;)One little niggle is that the packaging contains fixing screws only and there is no rubber fixing pins included to reduce vibration/noise transfer to the PC case. But the corners/mounting holes are rubberized which definitely helps and you can always use your own pins (e.g.from old fan), same as I did.

I bought four of these fans, three of them are silent but one of them makes a slight humming noise when I put the dust filter of my case on. My case has a built in fan controller, on the low setting these fans move way more air than the fans that came with the case and are much quieter. On the high setting they can be heard but are not what I would discribe as loud as it is only the movement of air that can be heard.I was trying to build a silent PC and the loudest part of my PC is the HDD, which should give you an idea of how quiet these fans are.Acceptable levels of noise is always subjective, but to me these fans are very quiet, all exept the one that dosn't like the dust filter.

These fans are very quiet during operation unless they are turned up to their maximum speed. They are only three-pin connectors but my motherboard does manage to vary their speed between a quiet intermediate and a rather noisy force-5 if it thinks it's getting too hot.The LED lights also remove the need for additional LED strip lighting if you're into that sort of thing and if you get enough of these fans. I've used these in a Corsair Carbide spec-01, totalling three fans within the case. They provide more than adequate cooling for my modest build (it was good back in the day, okay).

I was lured in by the bright lights (!), and they are lovely! I have these two fans as inlet fans on my Antec 300 case and they brighten it up no end while providing a good airflow. What they are not is quiet! They are rated at 25dB, so two of them throw out 50dB when they are on full power and that's about as noisy as a standard desk fan. Not good. I 'cured' this niggle by turning them down to 50% power via the BIOS on my MSI motherboard: the LED's are a little dimmer and the airflow is reduced, but the noise level is much more acceptable. I like them much more now!

I've had fans in the past that have really added to the noise output of a PC but I've lived with it cos they're all necessary. These however are different, quiet whilst still just as effective. The lights are a nice touch, I have the white LED's which look great in my white case. The only thing that lets them down is that they can only plug directly in to the Motherboard. I would of preferred being able to connect them to the PSU also but that's not an option.Aside from that, I think they're very good and well worth the price.

Bought this as my pre-built PC didn't come with any fans, even the included case fan was ditched. I'm using it as an intake fan and so far it seems to be working as it should, the LEDs are a bonus. Plus, for ten pounds it's fantastic. Airflow has drastically improved and I can feel the air coming through. PC temps have changed significantly, went from 50 degrees Celsius idle to just 30!Pros:Stylish and modern.Good airflow.Silent in operation.Bright LEDs, makes my dull case look great.Cons:None that I can think of.

I currently use these in the majority of the rigs I build, the red LEDs are very subtle and light the features of most cases perfectly. The high airflow helps keep your components cool whilst looking great and with a choice of colours you can pick a set to match the majority of builds. I choose to use quiet editions as I like a computer to be as close to inaudible as possible and the Corsair range of fans allow that to happen without ruining the aesthetics of the computer.

Bought these to replace 2 Corsair AF120 fans as I built a red a black themed build and I thought the LED versions would be a nice touch, which they are. They both now run at 100% as the LED's flicker when running them through my fan controller but that isn't a problem as they are super quiet and you can't really hear them unless you pay attention. This is a dual pack which makes it perfect for when you want to replace the fans on your rads or as intake fans.

Got two of them, they look pretty cool and seem to work perfectly, keep in mind if your motherboard doesn't have the necessary pins to support two fans and only one (like in my case) then you can just buy an adapter, very cheap and you could get it as an add on if you order 2 of these fans like I did. Would recommend. Haven't seen incredible difference however when playing Dark Souls 3 and it gets intense I can notice my computer doesn't go as crazy anymore.

Absolutely blown away with these fans, i bought these to replace the old cooler master sickle flows and boy did i make a good choice. I have Corsair H80i which have the static pressure fans on them for maximum cooling and i use these ones for exhaust at the top of my case. I would recommend these to any one wanting new high airflow fans with low noise and best of all they look amazing with the blue LED's which match with the lighting scheme of my PC.

These are good fans for the price range yes their a little noisy but most fans are noisy, their nice and bright and their suitable for pulling air in and pushing air out their Corsair fans I had mine for a year or so and they still going strong their easy to install and delivery from Amazon is fast especially if your like me and always messing around building PC’s then realise OH not enough fans. Can’t really find any faults with them for the price.

I built my first PC in late 2013 and didn't have enough money to add aftermarket cooling to the PC case. These 140mm fans are perfect for my cooling needs. These fans run at just shy of 1200rpm however due to the blade shape they move a surprising amount of air through them. The purple colour is very rich like a strong UV rather than a washed out lilac colour. I'm very pleased and will wholeheartedly recommend these fans to my PC building friends!

Does exactly what it says, only downside was the screw fittings were not pre-drilled into the fan so I had to force the screws into the joints in order to get the fitting done properly - best done out of the case on a flat surface with something to grip the fan underneath while you apply pressure, would be a good idea to loosen and tighten the screws a few times so that the actual installation in the case goes smooth.
