Honestly very happy with this fan. Bought it to supply active cooling to a passively cooled Raspberry Pi 4 (with a heatsink, black as pictured) and it dropped overall idle temperatures by 10c and load temperatures by 30c - but your mileage may vary for your use.Don't use this fan if you expect a serious amount of airflow for a high temperature application. It pushes a lot of air for its size and is also incredibly quiet for what it is (video attached!), but its best use is for taking uncomfortable temperatures down a few degrees. for example low end electronics running a bit hot or even blowing some air over a 3D print. It comes with plastic fittings designed for one-use application but it also has standard screw holes for hobby fans this size. The fan itself is a typical PWM fan and the USB portion is a high quality adaptor supplied with it - be aware that the manual explicitly states you should not use this adaptor for other work, nor should you feed a full 12v into the fan.Highly recommended for the price, does what you need it to do and quietly to boot.

I bought this fan as I wanted to use it as an extractor on a Raspberry Pi case - I needed something small, silent and low voltage so it could be run from the Pi's USB ports. This fan achieved all those goals and more!It came with a USB adapter, which left the cable pretty long - too long to go a few cm into a USB port on the side of a Pi - so I cut the wires and soldered the USB connector directly on to the wires leaving the fan housing - very simple to do thanks to the nice design from Noctua and it's happily doing its job of keeping a Raspberry Pi nice and cool.Obviously at 5v it doesn't have a lot of oomph, but for its size and how silent it is,it does move a good amount of air.Impressed and recommended for smaller projects such as Raspberry Pi based builds!

Its a shame these are so expensive, but then you get what you pay for. Super quiet and excellent build quality.
