Forget the gates that are for children, unless you have a very small dog most dogs can learn to jump them. This is a very sturdy gate which prevents my 2 medium/large dogs from jumping over and it fits the recess well enough to stop them pushing it down even when they charge at it.I used an extrender with mine as it is an opening we have rather than a doorway and it works perfectly.Good quality metal and fittings. Nice supplier and delivery was quick.

Having bought the gate I needed the extensions for my hallway, having measured the hallway and looked at the measurements for the extension poles I bought 3 extensions that should have done the job, not, I am now buying my 5fth extension pole to fit the hallway according to the measurements on this site. Someone needs to get another tape measure! Apart from that the gate appears secure enough to keep a GSD and a bouncy Labrador at bay.

did the job perfectly - ordered 2 and returned one - more than happy with the return process - just watch postage costs however if you need to - Courier option is cheaper - use that

excellent, however I have an acrobatic beagle who can clear it !!! A little more doggy training required. very robust gate
