I bought the smallest version of this product that I could find (25 ml) and I was surprised with the results. My hair is usually impossible to style, being very thin (but I have lots of it) broken ends, opaque, lifeless and curly, but it wasn't curling anymore due to damage. It is also very long and light coloured. When I wash my hair I usually have to put lots of hair styling products, have tried several brands of anti-frizz serums, oils, styling sprays from Humberto Gianini, Toni&, John Frieda, V05, the whole lot I could buy on Boots (I still have lots of it just used once or twice and given up, as it didn't suit my hair's needs). But this time I only washed normally with normal shampoo and conditioner and put a bit of oil.To start with, I wasn't massively impressed as in other reviews the girls say it smells very nice. But, in truth, it has a very subtle smell. Another thing they say is you have to put only a tiny little bit. Well, maybe that depends on the state of your hair, but to get some results I had to use 1/4 of the little bottle I bought! And usually I have to spend 40 minutes drying my hair so it looks presentable. Yesterday I left it dry naturally, but when it was NEARLY dry I blow dry with my ceramic brush and put another bit of oil after that. Then my hair looked very very beautiful. My boyfriend doesn't like my hair being very straight, neither too curly, it has to have that wavy sexy voluminous balance. And this was the first time I could achieve it by myself! Thanks to Maroccanoil. So if you would like to purchase it, I would certainly recommend starting off with the small bottle to check if this oil does for you the same as it did for me, and if does, you can go and buy the big bottle, just as I am going to do soon, but I wouldn't say is a miraculous product (as to be like that for me it would have to make my hair look like the movie stars), but is an amazing product that can repair my damaged hair :)

I'm a guy and I've grown up taking good care of my skin but have always been quite vanilla with hair. I'd buy your typical OGX shampoo and conditioner from a drugstore and that's that. Over lockdown I've grown long hair and quite liked the style so I thought I'd keep it but my hair is normally so dry from all the hair drying. At one point it was so frazzled it looked like I've been burned. So to the rescue came Olaplex which completely transformed by hair but since I started using this oil.... My hair has been so soft and silky it literally feels like silk. I still go about doing my regular salt spray and wax and hair dry etc but adding this oil together with olaplex is mind blowing. It has honestly turned my hair into silk and I love it!Not gonna lie, I've not been put off by prices much and I did think hmmm 13 quid for 25ml is a bit extreme for a hair oil? I mean if it was a face serum fair enough.. but anyway I thought I'd try. The bottle is literally SO tiny you can take it anywhere and whilst it is small it does last ages as you only need a tiny little bit. It will probably last me months. Just make sure you apply it to damp hair and not dry because it can make your hair quite shiny although it dries over time. But if you put it on damp hair together with any leave in conditioner and styling products like salt spray it will leave you silky all day with not much shine! Definitely going to buy again

I have thick mixed race curly afro hair.I used the product after washing and deep conditioning my hair my observations are as follows:When put on wet hair it absorbed nicely and made combing my hair hassle freeThe smell is pleasant and not overwhelmingIt doesnt leave any residue-which makes it stand out compared to other oils(this was what i was most impressed with)The day after my hair still felt softThe product is very much hyped up and it does have excellent qualities. The only downside is that it adds no definition to curly hair especially if your hair is prone to frizz, it seems to have no weight to it-if you use oils on your hair you will understand what I mean.If you have straight hair definitely get this product as your hair will feel and look soft, you may need to apply a gloss creme to add sheen. If you have curly hair another product will be needed to maintain and encourage curl definition.Overall I am not disappointed but then I never expected any miracles. It will leave your hair feeling soft, best results are found when using on washed wet hair. Is it value for money-I believe so.

I've been using MoroccanOil over a month now, and considering that I have fine, lifeless, long, straight hair (that gets tangled incredibly easily) so far I'm very pleased with it. Firstly, don't expect instant miracles, as I gathered from others reviews on this product, the oil doesn't work to the same extend on everyones hair. As I said, I have below waist length, fine hair, that I used to back-comb for volume (!), gets tangled/damaged quite easily, but ever since I started to use moroccan oil, it started to have a natural volume, also because it moisturizes the hair without making it greasy, my hair gets tangled less. I'd easily recommend this for any one whos hair needs an extra lift,or who have dry/damaged hair. I only use very small quantity (size as big as a hazel nut maybe), and spread it equally through brushing/combing with my fingers. So on the long run its more economic to use moroccan oil rather than any other product. I reckon 25 ml would last me another 2/2.5 months. So maybe give it a shot with the small bottle and see how you feel about it :)

I have relaxed afro-caribbean hair and so far this product has been good..ish. I don't actually have any complaints with the product but after reading all the raving reviews and seeing the eye-opening price I think I was expecting miracles! It is a brilliant product and the smallest amount tames wild, frizzy/frayed ends without making my hair lank and greasy. So far I've used it on dry hair after blowdrying and straightening to make it smooth/sleek and it has worked a treat. I will try it on damp hair (as the box recommends). The smell is nice..ish, it's very subtle, so much so you can hardly notice it (which I quite like). The price, however, is definately not nice.. infact it's HUGE,but if it lasts as long as I assume it is going to (the bottle still looks completely full after a month) I think it might be worth it in the long run. Also, I noticed a tiny grammatical error on the packaging, it doesn't seem like a fake in anyway but then I wouldn't be able to tell if it was!

This was my first Morrocan Oil purchase and I will definitely be buying it again. I have very thick and frizzy hair and this has tamed it and added definite shine. I use my hair straighteners on my hair every day and my fringe was really damaged but when I use this on it, it looks shiny and my hair once again does what I want it to. It also seems to have cut down my hair drying time too. I have to mention the smell of the oil is divine as well. I'm very glad I spent a bit extra on buying this product with the pump as I think it would have got quite messy without it and I may have poured out more than I needed to otherwise.I have had this bottle for 3-4 months now and I'm not even half way through it yet so even though it is pricey it does last a long time and the pump does help you use it sparingly. I would definitely recommend it to people with similar hair types to my own and people who style their hair quite a lot.

I have very dry, frizzy, coloured hair.I have spent years and lots of money buying all kinds of products to try and at least reduce the frizz in my hair. Most products do nothing at all, and some leave the top of my hair very oily but leave the tips very dry and frizzy. This is the first product that I have ever tried that actually works on my hair! Now it still has some frizz in it, however it has reduced it emencely and my hair is completly different now.It leaves it really soft and it also makes it so much easier to straighten, and it stays straighter longer. The instructions say to use once per week, however I find that I have to use it at after every wash, if I don't,my hair is back to the usually very dry and frizzy - I expect this is just my hair, for most people I would say once per week is sufficent.

I ordered this a few weeks ago having used it in the past. I usually squirt about three pumps into my hands, rub them together slightly, and run my hands through my damp hair after washing. I then brush my hair through to spread out the product. It makes my hair super soft and smell good. I also feel it’s helped my split ends. I’m careful to keep the products away from my roots to avoid them getting too oily again. I wash my hair every 3-5 days depending on my activity levels and how greasy my hair has gotten through the week but I definitely don’t think this product adds to the need to wash my hair. The bottle will last me ages as I’ve barely made a dent in it and have been using it religiously as part of my hair routine now.My hair is growing finally and feels much stronger since using.

Bought this and very happy with my purchase. Was worried about genuinity of product before ordering, but did my checks and confirmed before purchasing. Very happy product is genuine product and quality is excellent. Scent is typical of Moroccan Oil products (which I personally like). It is a light product, but you still only need to use small amounts at a time, I would recommend staring off with very little and working your way up according to need. It is also prone to accumulation if you are someone like me who washes your hair 1-2 weekly. I only ever really use after washing hair, do not usually need to re-apply in-between. Will obviously depend on individual hair type and how often you wash your hair,as to how much and how often you use it. Would definitely recommend.

I have now been using this oil for close to 5 years. As a kid I always had a shaved head but going into my teenage years I grew out my hair and found out at around the age of 13/14 that I actually have curly hair. As it grew longer it got drier and drier, frizzier and frizzier. I went through a lot of different hair treatments specially aimed for curly hair but never worked like I wanted and it was only when I went to a new hairdressers that they recommended this. I originally bought a 25ml bottle (about £10/£12) which didn't last that long but after some searching I found this beautiful 125ml bottle! (Almost half the price per 100ml).This bottle lasts me just over half a year I believe since I usually buy 2 bottles a year.

I love this stuff. I use a pea sized amount after the shower and it makes my hair so shiny and silky without being greasy (I have hair just below collar bone so If longer and thick maybe use more). This is important for me as I have very fine, thin hair which is dry. So I desperately need a nourishing product that’s not going to weigh my hair down. Moroccan oil does this perfectly. It’s very good for when you over wash your hair (like I do on holiday or most weekends) and strip everything out and you can put it back in with this product. If you don’t have dry hair I wouldn’t suggest using it. Also use when hair is wet otherwise it may be too much. Let it dry into your hair.

Reading the positive and negative online reviews, I was a bit cautious not to expect too much from this product. However I was pleasantly suprised, it works well, my hair is more soft and has a shine to it and to top it off the smell is lovely. I have relaxed hair and constantly use hair products, some of which does the job or makes my hair too greasy and doesn't smell nice. So searching for another hair product I came across MoroccanOil. This product ticks all the boxes and you only need to use literally a small amount (around a 5p size). I'll definately be purchasing more of this product when I run out. As a student it's a bit expensive however worth every penny. :D

Mrs Phantom has trouble in taming her hair, remember the Hair Bear Bunch on TV, she is like the one steering the bike with the hair like a brillow pad!!! She worries about it all the time! I know nothing about how the oil works or what it does, but what I can say is that my nights are much better when we go out. Never late, no moaning, no constant visits to the bathroom and all because the oil calms her hair and makes her happy. It makes me happy too as I have a much better time!!! I never thought I would write a review on hair products.... but this is for all the guys out there, let your missus try it, you'll have an easy time so encourage her!!!! Good luck!

I have been using this oil for almost ten years. It makes my hair really soft and shiny and it seems to dry a little quicker as well. This size of bottle will last me a couple of years, even with super long hair. A little bit on hair can also make it air dry much better as well as it doesn't frizz as much. The product has a nice smell and doesn't leave a greasy residue at all. A pea sized amount is perfect for mid length hair. I have also used it on dry hair when my ends are needing a trim as it brings a bit of life back to my hair. Would definitely recommend. I have tried other cheaper brands from high street shops but they didn't come close to this!

I have nothing but good things to say about this product. My hair gets oily quite quickly so often I only condition the tips of my hair, so I was dubious as to whether this would be any good for me. I had a sample in a Glossy Box monthly subscription and I HAD to buy some. This stuff is fantastic, my hair is so soft, my brush doesn't get caught on knots and I can run my fingers through my hair without any issues. And it doesn't make my hair oily when I use it all over, it just soaks in and leaves it feeling SO soft. Even my partner has started using it, on his hair and his beard!Cannot recommend this highly enough.
