I’m quite impressed with this item. I do find it drying so have to use it with leave in conditioner, but otherwise it’s a good product.I have very thick, wavy, course hair which needs help staying smooth and straight - after spending hours straightening it first sign of moisture or humidity & it will become frizzy. I also found after sleeping the ends would have curled.I reduce my hairs exposure to moisture as much as possible, but thanks to reliable British weather, I often still get a case of the frizzies within minutes of walking out the door, so this spray has become a life saver.Due to the thickness of my hair and drying time I tend to wash it twice a week, which means I’m not blow drying it or straightening daily thus I need something to keep it looking good for a few days & not just an hour after I step out the shower. This product has made my life easier by keeping my hair straight in between washes, saving me having to keep straightening daily or give up and tie it up on day 2.Although it doesn’t keep it poker straight, it’s enough to get away with and a big improvement on what I had to endure previously. If I team this with an anti-humidity spray then I get even better results, but it works well on its own too. This is now a regular part of my hair care routine as it prevents additional damage to my hair caused by daily straightening/brushing.If I tie it up loosely over night whilst sleeping, then next morning I can brush it and it’s often as good as it was the previous day, so now I get more “hair down” days between washes, which is always a bonus for me compared to the 1 out of 4 I was previously used to.My only gripe is it has a weird smell to it, which granted, dissipates virtually straight away. It smells almost like a faint curry smell - no idea if this is the actual smell of the product or if it’s being stored next to something in the warehouse as I’ve not yet bought from anywhere else to compare.Highly recommend if you have hair that needs help staying on the straight, give this a go as you might find it works well for you too.

Firstly I never write reviews but this product has blown me away! It arrived yesterday and i used it for the first time today. I have got very very thick coarse frizzy hair. I usually use a handful of Aussie serum to blow dry it and then add a smidge of Frizz eaase serum to each length before strightening it with GHDs. This is fairly successful although walking in any sort of humidity causes it to rebel despite the products and the fact that there is a layer of product on my hair makes my colour (I have been grey since age 25) look a bit brash and artificial. I applied about 12 sprays of this new frizz ease product today and was very dubious i can tell you.It felt as though there was nothing on my hair and the blow drying was less than convincing with the result being about as poor as if I'd applied no product atall. HOWEVER as soon as I straightened it the effect was amazing. I have had my hair chmically straightened in the past and it was the same as this. It knocked all the volumne out of it allowing it to fall straight and natural and yet it feels like my own hair for the first time in years as there is no evidence of product weighing it down. I even walked the dogs and it stayed straight. Don't know if it will last three days but who cares! Excellent product, thank you John Frieda, wish you'd been around 30 years ago and I might have avoided all the terrible perms I resorted to to try and control my locks!!P.S I've now put this on subscribe and save!

Working in a hospital and dealing with patients, I tend to shower the minute I get home from work, which sometimes includes the early hours of the morning. I therefore just don’t have the time or energy to blow dry and straighten my hair afterwards (also at 4am I don’t think I’d be very popular with my family either!)I decided to give this product a go as the reviews seemed great. If I let my hair dry naturally, it has a fair bit of volume to it and a slight frizz. However if I sleep with wet hair, I end up with really nice curls although again slightly frizzy.I was baffled when the bottle suggested to apply to soaking wet hair, as usually with most protects it’s towel dried hair.I’ve tried doing it as per instructions, but found it made my hair greasy as I couldn’t work out how much was on my hair. I would recommend anyone else with a similar problem to apply this product to towel dried hair. When I wake the next day after using this, my hair feels soft and has a lovely shine to it. My curls look well managed too! I had loads of compliments from colleagues and friends, and recommended it to a few of them (one even thanked me as she had loads of compliments too!)The only big downside for me which doesn’t usually bother me too much but did with this product, is the amount of unnecessary plastic. When you see the bottle you’ll know what I mean! It looks great, it’s nice and sturdy, but it just seems a waste.Overall I definitely recommend this item.

I am a big fan of 'leave in' hair conditioners, I find they work the best for me. I also love the John Frieda range, so I was delighted to try this Nourishing Oil Elixir. I have been using it for several weeks now, and have to use only very little of the serum, I am so pleased to see only a little has gone from the pot. After shampooing, conditioning even, when the hair has been rubbed dry, a tiny dot of this Elixir is all that is needed. If you take 'too much' your hair might look a little like doll's hair. The 100ml pump pot will last for months at this rate. Passing it through the hair with fingers or a comb, it spreads right through, absolutely non sticky, and ensures a well behaved head of hair on drying. My hair is more fluffy than frizzy, but no matter, I appreciate the new found obedience my hair has developed since using this. I tried it on my grandchildren's hair over the holidays and they really love the look they get with it. Best of all, as I have my hair trimmed and styled every six weeks, the shape remains true to the hairdresser's cut when this is applied; it extends the 'just left the salon look' until the next appointment. The scent is pleasant and the effect is sleek, flattering, shiny. You can also use the Mousse from this range mixed in, to really stamp out frizz!

One of my new years resolutions was to take better care of my skin and hair.I regularly dye and straighten my hair without any treatments or heat protection as my hair is naturally fizzy and annoyingly wavy so after doing some research and reading review's online I decided to try the John Frieda frizz ease collection as it is affordable and highly recommend for my needs.Altogether I braught the frizz ease shampoo, conditioner, weekly conditioning hair mask and also the three day straight spray which provides heat protection as well as helping de frizz and straighten my hair. I have found that the spray lives up to its promises using with the other products as instructed on to wait or damp hairbefore blow drying and straightening with my straghting brush I find that my hair is softer and more silkier than before and stays quite straight for the promised three days although for complete straghtness I do have to sometimes go over it quickly with my straghting brush.I would definitely recommend this product to anyone struggling with wavey or frizzy hair as it definitely has a positive impact on these areas hower I can only testament to this when using it in conjunction with the other products from this line I do not know how effective it is when used alone.

So I really wanted to do a product review of this for a long time, simply because I've been using this for a year or around 2 years, now the reason I didn't do it yet simple because I did not had the time for it, so today I decided to jump in and do a quick review of this, hopefully you guys find this helpful. I do have a problem with this that you cannot buy this product individually you have to buy it as an add-on but at the end of the day I do by other stuff for my hair like mousse and hairspray itself so I just add that in after, so basically by itself for the price it's pretty good because if you don't know what this product does it this but it's basically helps you from damaging your hair from heat and I use my hair dryer everyday so this helps it to protect it,I did so a huge huge gain on not losing hair as much as possible and I do believe that this did help a lot, for someone that wants to buy this I will invite you to buy it and test it out yourself I do love this product and I will buy it again the reason I'm saying this is because I'm right now in my house I have two bottles of this but I don't know why do bottles of those but I do but yeah I have been buying this product for a long time hope this review helps you guys up thanks.

This hair oil is suitable for use on both wet and dry hair, though I prefer to use it when my hair is wet as I find it spread easier and covers my hair more uniformly when my hair is wet.It smells pleasant, it too strong or over powering, but there is a definite light scent left on my hair after using this.It makes my dry ends softer and shinier, but if it use it on dry hair near to my roots I think it gives my hair a greasy appearance, obviously something I don't really want so I avoid doing this.I definitely makes my hair easier to manage, particularly if I want to plait it or tie it up as it stops fly always and gives a nice smooth appearance. It washes out easily with the following shampoo and it does not linger beyond this, you need to use it after each wash to get the benefit from it.

I ordered this because my hair is so difficult to manage - dry and frizzy, when the fashion is sleek and shiny!I spend a lot of time, trouble and money on my hair and I'm fussy about the result. This Oil Elixir has been excellent. I've used it for four weeks now. You need only the tiniest amount - perhaps one eighth of a teaspoon. Rub it lightly all over dry hair for a restyle, or on wet before blow-drying - avoid the roots. I've tried both ways and it works equally well. I find it brilliant on my flyaway fringe. It leaves a pleasant smell and washes out next time. So far, no product build-up.For a quality hair product and considering how economical it is in use, I think this is good value for money. Some of the other greedy cosmetic firms could learn a great deal from John Frieda.

I love hair oils. I am mixed race with frizzy afro hair which I straighten and colour! I have slit ends galore no matter what I do. My hair is always tangled too. this oil smells nice and is easy to apply. I tend to apply this after washing my hair. It gives my hair shine and doesn't leave it feeling heavy or greasy live some treatment products can. I also use this as a finishing product because of the shine it gives my hair. over time, my hair feels softer and my hair feels protected whilst I trim it to get rid of the split ends.I found it most effective on my broken fringe! I was left with a tuft of Mr Magika hair that I didn't want to pull or brush too much for fear of making it worse.Applying my hair oil each day really helps! This size bottle also lasts quite a long time.

There were mixed reviews on this product but decided to give it a go.During lockdown my hair has gone mad. I usually keep my hair in a short style as I have thick curly hair but during lockdown with no haircut for months it’s grown quickly and is wild and frizzy and anyone with curly hair knows that it tends to grow outwards rather than down when shorter. I’ve started to resemble cousin It in the Adams family :) I so miss my hairdresser. Roll on July!!I tried this and I couldn’t believe the difference. My hair was tamed and not so weighty the product had taken away the frizz and made my hair not so wild. Almost looked normal.Thank you John Frieda you’re a lifesaver.Only thing I’ll say is not to use too much.I found a little goes a long way.Highly recommended.

My mother in law has awful trouble with frizzy hair. Her hair is curly and even a hint of mositure sets her hair off to ballon to twice its size.Whats great is this type of hair oil is suitable for use on both wet and dry hair which means you can find the best way to use this for you.my mother in law kindly agreed to be my guinea pig and we tried both ways. She prefered to use it when her hair was wet as it smooths easier and covered the hair much more evenly although it does work as well on dry hair. Its more that application is easier on wet hair.Loved the scent. Its not strong but its there and smells of a quality product. It left my mother in laws hair soft and smooth without a greasy orheavy feel which was fab.

I have course frizzy hair which usually curls nicely if left after washing to dry naturally, If I brush it at all once it is dry, it gets really frizzy. I applied this after washing and tried to scrunch dry my hair as usual (by that I mean just give it a scrunch now and again as it dries naturally. That is usually enough for ringlets to form, however with this treatment, my hair is softer and more flyaway and less curly. I can see that the condition is better, but the curls have not come as usual so it might work better if you straighten your hair . Not sure this is a product for me when I want it curly, but if I am stying my hair with a blow drier it does seem to improve the condition.Easy to apply. Nice smell.

Just get this. It's all I can say. I have very curly, exceptionally frizzy hair. It hates humidity and rain. This product cut drying and straightening time enormously. It creates beautiful straight hair, but doesn't make it heavy/stringy/thin/limp like some other products. No greasiness. There was lots of volume and shine. And it really, really does last 3 days, probably longer but I couldn't bring myself to not wash my hair for longer. I tried it for the first time recently and on day 1 there was record-breaking torrential rain, on day 2 it was constant drizzle, on day 3 there was heavy rain and a gale. Each day had humidity in the 75-90% range. I didn't have to re-straighten or touch up at all.Life-changing.

When I first bought this I thought it was useless and didn't do anything to stop the frizz. However, when I had my hair cut to shoulder length I am more than happy with it! My hair is a lot shinier and smoother - I think I was using too little to see any effect when my hair was longer. The scent is lovely and my hair feels a lot healthier (although that may also be in part to having it cut) and is definitely far less frizzy. One thing I will say is that the packaging seems rather wasteful is there is an outer layer of plastic that is just unnecessary. However since one pump is enough this will last a very long time!Overall I'm very happy, just ensure you're using the right amount on your hair.

I have naturally curly hair. I’m around a 3C on the texture scale. Only recently I’ve straightened my hair a couple times and anyone with curls will know it’s difficult to get it super smooth. I use keratin oil when straightening but the ends can be a bit fluffy. I saw this on Amazon and thought for the price I will have a go. OMG! I’m glad I did. A little goes a long way!! It’s not only smoother and softer after use. And that’s before and after using heat. I’m super impressed! The ends aren’t as fluffy at all. I think unless you use chemicals you’ll never get it super fine on the ends (at least that’s what I’ve experienced) but this serum definitely has had the best effect so far ?
