I was in the process of going from dark brown (natural with box dye on top) to blonde for a change. My hair was orange at the end and in the middle. I can’t risk more bleach just yet as I don’t want it to break. It was in an unbearable state. I tried a toner and didn’t help so I gave this a go.It says apply to wet hair leave on for 5 mins and rinse but having seen it on you tube I put it on dry hair on the orange parts and left it for 10 (I probably should have done 5 mins longer but got scared)My hair is not perfect and I can still see tinges of orange but this has saved my life and it’s not noticeable unless you really look.I really wish I’d have took a before and after picture because the results was unbelievable and I really didn’t think anything would help my orange. As a natural dark brown with box dye on top to cover the grey I was traumatised bleaching my hair and seeing this orange until I found this. The condition of my hair is fantastic (due to use of olaplex I’m guessing) and I’m going to bleach again in a month. I’m also going to use this as the toner rather than another toner, because I can only imagine once I bleach again and use this my hair will be exactly where I want it.I also bought and used a bit of the no more yellowIn the yellow parts, but for my hair (dark) the no more orange worked wonders.Definitely recommend 100% if like me you are going slow and steady on bleaching and want to tone down the orange to make it presentable Until you achieve your result this is the product for you.

First of all I don't know why people are saying that they thought they were receiving 2 as it doesn't say this (unless its changed) I think they may be looking at at what people frequently buy together so ignore these negative comments.I was concerned seeing the some bottles broke in transit but I ordered anyway as THIS ARE THE CHEAPEST I HAVE FOUND ONLINE!!! Unfortunately the cap had leaked in transit but luckily for me it was only a little so I didn't lose too much product. THIS ISSUE REALLY NEEDS ADDRESSING!!As for the way it works...... I spent days researching online as I was very worried about what it was going to do to my hair. I have previously used a shop bought violet shampoo and it made my blonde hair like straw. My hairdresser advised I had more orange in my hair than yellow and to try Fanola no orange. My hair is natural medium brown on the top and blonde balayage. My natural hair is very warm and where the bleach has blended in it looked very 'orange' to me. I have only used it once so I can't really comment too much but everyone in work today has noticed how much brighter my hair looks ( more blonde ) and I can definitely see it is less gingery I am excited to see what it's like after more use.More importantly my hair feels like silk. I'm not sure if it is this shampoo or the new L’Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Rapid Reviver Dry Hair Power Conditioner? Either way this combination is amazing and Fanola definately doesn't dry out your hair.

I decided to highlight my own hair during the pandemic and whilst it turned out pretty good, there were a few areas of my hair that had difficulty lifting as quickly as others and since I'm not a hairdresser I stupidly took the foils out. So I was left with some orangey patches in my hair (I'm a level 6 brunette and hair is dyed level 9 blonde).I did a lot of research about removing orange from hair and everything pointed to blue shampoo and not my trusty purple shampoo. Fanola No Orange seemed to get the best reviews on YouTube so I thought I'd give it a shot. The shampoo arrived today and I immediately tried it out. I applied it to damp hair, but on my roots only for the first 8 mins and then another 7 on the rest of my head.I washed it out and didn't notice much of a difference, which frustrated me, so I decided to do another 10 mins on my roots only and then another 10 mins of purple shampoo to strip away any potential yellow that would be left from bringing the orange down. It's still not perfect, but it's definitely toned down a lot. I will probably just spot apply the blue shampoo on some of the still semi-oraney pieces of hair and then I think I'll be happy with it.I've always used L'Oreal Silver (purple) shampoo but now I'm debating ordering Fanola No Yellow after seeing what the blue shampoo has done.

Really does make a difference. I was bleaching out a very red toned brown dye that was a nightmare to remove. Had to bleach it a few times and this shampoo made the ginger I was left with a bit more bearable. Was actually quite a nice colour when I'd done it! I painted it on dry hair like hair dye and left for an hour, although it does help a bit just using as a shampoo too. Make absolutely sure you wear gloves and wash it off your bath or shower as you're going as it does stain.Be aware this isn't made to lighten orange hair or completely get rid of orange, that's not what it's for. It's used to tone it down a bit. It definitely won't make orange hair blonde unless you just have an orange tint to already blonde hair.I see many people complaining that this doesn't work but I expect they had wrong expectations of the product, it is not a lightener.I did take a star off because I do find it very drying. As it's not a daily shampoo though I just use a hair mask after and it's OK.

I used the shampoo last night, leaving it in for an hour. I applied the mask tonight on dry hair and left it in for half an hour.I love the smell. The products go on nicely. There is more pigment in the shampoo.Sadly there is PPD in the mask. The mask feels thinner and looks much lighter.I can see a subtle difference. My hair is dyed medium ash brown and constantly fades out to a brassy orange tone which I hate. I am trying to cancel out the orange to bring out my cool undertones as I am a cool under tones person with warm overtones.I am happy that this product will make a subtle and hopefully incremental difference. I will update if the changes become more radical over time.I plan to use this as my daily treatment. It washes and conditions beautifully and my hair feels soft and bright.I attach a before and after photo. Taken in same light and same time after 24 hours. Left is before, horrid brassy oranges. Right is after, much more even toned and looking healthier.

So after bleaching my black hair and dying my hair pink in December, my hair was left quite literally orange (as you can see in the first photo) this shampoo 100% works. You definitely get a lot for what you pay for as its foams up quite nicely in the shower. after the first wash I definitely saw results. However it is a gradual process and not an instant fix, but it’s definitely not at all harsh like some toners. By my second use (the second photo) I could already many brassy orange tones had faded to to a more caramel colour. Ive used it about 3/4 times now (the 3rd photo is my current hair) and the brassiness is almost completely gone and my has toned my hair very nicely.I have 4a/3c hairand I was worried it would leave my hair very dry but I use the shea moisture strengthen and repair mask after, as a conditioner and I’ve experienced no dryness.Over I’d give this product a 10/10. Highly recommend for anyone sitting there with orange hair right now XD

I went to the hair dress to get an ash brown balayage on my dark brunette hair. He messed up badly and my hair ended up being very orange and definitely not what I wanted. I was so upset I had spent so much money and tried all purple shampoos available in the shops, they did not work and only took out some of the yellow tones.I came across this because I looked up that blue counteracted orange tones better, and decided I had nothing to lose. It has literally saved my hair and now I love it so there is a silver lining. After the first 3 uses there was absolutely no orange and now after about 2 months use I am still ashy brown with some cool blonde stripes (yep he really messed up) but I love it.I will probably buy a couple more bottles of this to be on the safe side and keep the orange at bay. Safe to say I won’t be going back to that hair dresser, but if it all does go wrong again, I’ll know what to buy!(I bought this with the conditioner)

I brought this product 2 weeks ago and i have used it on my hair every Friday since. My natural hair is a mix of brown, blonde, ginger and strawberry blonde so when the sun shines on it, my hair can look quite brassy. At first i was skeptical of buying it as i didn't want it to get rid of the brunette in my hair, also my hair is quite wavy and curly which i didn't want it to damage. However i just use Cantu deep conditioner after so my hair doesn't dry out. I brought this product to get rid of the orange in my hair and honestly it works. One thing to keep in mind though is on the instructions it says to leave it on damp hair for 5 minutes. For my hair the 5 minutes was not long enough so i would recommend leaving it on your hair for at least an hour to see a change. It has got rid of the brassiness and ginger in my hair completely and my hair is now more brunette with blonde highlights. I love it and 100% recommend. Would definitely buy again.

I had very orange hair from a lockdown at-home dye attempt. I tried all the fancy toners like Weleda T18 etc with developers and the usual high street purple shampoos and conditioners. Someone told me blue is better to combat orange and purple for yellow. It's oddly quite hard to find blue products and not many are on Amazon but this one had a really good rating. I use it as a mask on dry hair for about 15 min before washing for maximum effect and it really works. It's very thick and dark blue so wear gloves. I left it on for 1 hour the first time and even turned some strands blue, which looked quite nice. Otherwise, it turns most of the orange a pale ash blond. The bottle is huge and goes a long way so well worth the cost. Even my friends noticed my awful dye-job and now I no longer look like I dyed my hair orange for Halloween. I love it so much I decided to buy the mask too.

The product was great, it did what the label says. However, it made my hair very dry and brittle leading it to break off. I tried another brand of blue shampoo and my hair was fine and silky how i used to be prior bleach and/or using this shampoo. I used it again following the other brand where i thought ‘let me just use fanola again’ but my hair went dry and ugly again. Also i don’t know if anyone else had any issues like this, but whenever i use this shampoo i get a great amount of hair loss :/.I feel like i still would use this product as it is great but i don’t want to be bald before i’m 25.i’m in a pickle. ignored other people’s review bcos i’m stubborn and now i’m dealing with the consequences.:((Virgin hair, bleached once , fanola used first time). >> When i don’t use fanola, my hair goes back to normal, before i thought it was just the bleach but it wasn’t.

Bought this in desperation after my hairdresser left me with a very warm balayage (I wanted an ashy, dark blonde and ended up with a very warm, reddish-brown in the darker parts). I'd already tried Scott Cornwall Anti-Orange, which was a complete waste of money and actually seemed to make my hair look warmer, and Fudge purple shampoo, which is amazing on yellow / gold tones in blonde hair but wasn't doing much for the reddish/brown problem. I left this stuff on for about eight mins, really working it into the roots, which were the warmest part of my colour. Washed it off, used a very rich conditioner and I now have the ashy / dirty blonde I originally wanted (see results in pic).I never bother writing product reviews but this stuff really is impressive and I just wish i'd tried it sooner. Don't waste your money on useless high street 'toners' - just try this.

Absolutely great! It arrived safely sealed in plastic so no risk of spilling. I was silly enough to dye my hair at home last week, with the lockdown it’s impossible to get a hold of a hairdresser. It turned out orange. Carrot colour. I found Fanola reviews online and bought it. Did 18 minutes followed by 5 minutes. It smells lovely. It left my hair a bit dry but nothing dramatic. The orangey shade was gone, maybe 75% of it, which was a miracle given how bad it was at the start. I sent a pic to my hairdresser yesterday and they said it looks really ok now.The bottle is big so it’ll last ages though I’m hoping I won’t need it again. The only thing: careful when you apply it, make sure there’s nothing around you.It doesn’t stain face but it’s a shampoo so you may spill some of it on the floor etc!

So wish I had taken a before photo so you could see the difference! I bleach my hair at home, and use a toner to get the desired colour (ashy blond) but it always goes dull, orangey colour in between. No more!! Far superior to any purple shampoo, does not leave a blue hue to the drier ends, like some purple shampoos do, and brightens the colour beautifully. I use it as a shampoo, leaving it on for a minute or two every second or third time I wash my hair, two three times a week.I read someone saying it's not for blonde hair; whether it is its intended purpose I really don't know or care as it works brilliantly.Only one I'll buy from now on. Arrived quickly, securely packaged. The top was taped so they've learned from customer complaints where it has spilled. 10/10

This product is a game changer. Iv used both the Fanola no more orange and no more yellow shampoos. The trick is if your hair is brown and you are going blonde use the no more orange shampoo. It cancels out the orange pigments. It may take a couple of uses but it works!!! If you are a dark blonde going lighter the no more yellow shampoo is for you as it targets the murky yellow tones. I’m very dark brown naturally and have lightened my hair through time to light blonde and each time I colour I use no more orange to fix the brassy tones bleach leaves. If you lift your hair to a level 7/8 this will work. If your hair tones are lower than that it blends the blonde beautifully. It’s a must have and leaves your hair ashy. With regular use it turns a subtle light grey.

I am a brunette, which I want to point out as I didn't see many brunette reviews when I was purchasing this product.I purchased this out of desperation after a hair colouring nightmare. I asked for blonde/caramel highlights and came home with orange/copper hair. After several washes with this product the coloring faded and this product turned it into a more natural blonde colour. Extremely happy with the results as this is cheaper than going to get my hair re-coloured. I now use it periodically as a "touch up" when I feel like the brassy undertones are becoming noticeable again. The scent is okay, no chemical smells which is good. When I received the product it had leaked a little bit but nothing major!Overall, very happy with this purchase!
