Well it's early days yet but on usig the shampoo I noticed there is lots of slip so it detangles my hair as I am washing it, this is a plus because my hair tangles easily. After drying my hair naturally I can say that it is not gresey nor is it dry and straw like...my hair is colour treated, I did not use conditioner. I will report back in a few months if this has stiopped the thinning of my hair in the front or not. I will post photos before and after so anyone can see...after all none of us know for certain if the photos Waterman's have in their thumbnail are real customers or not. I may buy the conditioner but I may not...who knows.Nov 2017 UPDATE. This shampoo is brilliant,the hair at the font iof my head s not as thin, it is not shedding like it use to....it was so bad that if I wore anything black there would be hair on my back. Being menopausal has changed my once thick hair to making it thinner all over but this shampoo has or it seems to be helping stop the hair falling and has thickened the fridge so the scalp is less noticeable. The sides of my hair near the temple has started to grow back with baby hair and this has not happened before, I lost hair in those particular areas after I had my son so I was surprised to see any regrowth at all.Update Jan 2018. I am finding that my scalp is getting a build up of product on it so I am now alternating between Boots Botanical moisture shampoo and this so my scalp is given a cleanse. Last time I used it I made sure to use my scalp brush to massage the shampoo in and I rinsed it off very well. Maybe this company could do a scalp exfoliate as well as the other products in the range. I looked at the ingredients and it has "Silicone Quaternium-22" which givest he hair an appearance of thickness but for me silicone's irritate my scalp so I am thinking of switching to Stemm's High-Amino Shampoo which is also for hair loss £25 for 480 ml not much less per mls than this and it does not have a high lather content some people do not like that but it doesn't bother me at all.

This was me a few weeks ago.I was desperate, as I have been having some awful problems with my scalp. Due to my illnesses and medications over the years. Then I stumbled across Waterman's products, I really don't remember how and after a bit of reading I couldn't wait, I wanted to started right away. I was so desperate to do something to stop the pain. I have been suffering for so long. I do have long hair and I'm told it's really nice but underneath it all I'm loosing handfuls all the time, it's getting so thin and it used to be so thick. I'm actually scared to it wash it now incase it makes it worse. I also have been getting scabs for the last few years it's horrible so I can't go to a hairdresser as I'm ashamed.I don't like going out incase the wind blows my hair and you can see them. The doctors have told me they are common with the illnesses I have.Waterman's products arrived:I wasn't well enough to wash my hair the day they arrived I was so upset. I really wanted to start using them as my crown was burning with pain. My hair was clean so instead I dampened my crown and put some ConditionMe on. As soon as it touched my head the burning sensation stopped, I couldn't believe it after all these years I had found a cure. I was ecstatic. I left it on all night as a night mask. The following day I washed my hair with GrowMe and used ConditionMe. I usually leave ConditionMe on for an hour with a conditioning cap or overnight and use it as a mask. It's just the thickest most luxurious conditioner and smells wonderful. I have continued to use the products and I just love them. My scalp doesn't hurt at all now. I have deliberately left my hair for a week to see if the pain would come back if I didn't wash it every few days and it hasn't. (Don't call me dirty Kelly Hoppen only washes her hair once a week) I'm just over the moon and I can't rate these products highly enough. The customer service is amazing. Thank you Waterman's.

I received excellent service from this company! Forgive me for my late review I’ve been very busy filming.This is a long story so would rather not bore you with it… basically I placed an order with this company for their wonderful shampoo which did not arrive (so I thought) I contacted Amazon a good couple of weeks later only to be told these guys are not a fortified supplier & they Amazon would refund me. I was gutted!I then decided to contact the company directly as one would & received an email from the company owner Matt, really nice guy with lots of positive energy!Matt very kindly looked into this for me & sent me a free bottle with one of their designer tote shopping bags even though I contacted him after finally receiving my first order from Amazon….Finally.Now for the shampoo… I’ve been using for approximately a couple of months now & have seen a difference in my hair I’m very pleased to say :) My hair length has got longer. I’m still hoping the areas which are very short ( my edges) will start to pick up soon too.Shampooing:With my old shampoo’s I always had to wash my hair twice for a good amount of lather to be created & for my hair to feel completely clean but not with ‘Grow Me’ one dollop of shampoo does the trick & I have an afro of lather & foam. I’m a Caribbean rose so I use lots of lotions & potions in my hair weekly so I must ensure this is all washed out before I start my ritual again.The shampoo is lovely & mild so no burning nor stinging on your scalp, it smells good too & has some great ingredients too boot.I will continue to use ‘Grow Me’ I feel very positive about, lord knows I’ve tried the majority of shampoo’s on the market which claim to grow your hair which don’t work.Well done to Matt & team, your customer service is by far one of the best I have received from an internet shopping site. I must have bought every hair product in my lifetime to try to treat my over heat styled, coloured hair. I've spent a fortune on shampoos & conditioners & masks & oils but since discovering these 2 products I now use nothing else at all. They don't strip my hair of it's natural oils or add unwanted residue that builds up that I then have to strip off along with my hair's natural oils.Even though the shampoo is sulphate free it does provide a gentle lather which is nice as those that provide no lather I have found unpleasant to use & never feel my hair is really clean without a few suds. Leaving them each on for the required 2 minutes is no hassle.I had started to notice more hair than usualcoming out during brushing which now appears to have stopped & i'm currently on my second bottle of both the shampoo & the conditioner. The biggest difference though, which is dramatic to me, is how soft and silky my hair is immediately after washing drying & straightening. It used to feel really really dry & I had to add loads of conditioning oils & then wait a few days for it to settle down & for my natural oils start to reappear to soften it but now it's super from the get go ! I no longer use loads of moisturising masks & leave in sprays & after styling oils etc as I now need none of those. So whilst they are not inexpensive products I am saving money on all the other products I no longer need to buy & I am no longer on a constant search either for the holy grail of haircare because so far I believe this is it !Read full review...

This is the best shampoo I've found for hair thickening/growing. I developed alopecia last summer and lost a lot of my very long hair, both in patches and overall thinning. In the end I decided to shave my head for charity in the hope that something good would come out of the situation. The hair that has grown back is thicker and stronger than it's ever been before, and the growth rate using this shampoo and conditioner is much faster than before. I'm needing a hair cut every four weeks. Added to this, it smells lovely and leaves my hair really shiny.While I've given this 5 stars I must stress that I do lots of other things to promote hair growth, and it may be a combination of these that has made such a difference.I now take both biotin 10,000mcg and and 200mg Ferrous Sulphate, and use Nizrol shampoo once a week which is prescribed by my dermatologist. I was also given steroid injections in my scalp in the area of the bald patches but not all over. However, I added Grow Me shampoo to this regime much more recently so can definitely say that it made a significant difference to the growth that was already occurring. I'm explaining this as I don't want to give anyone false hope that the shampoo alone can cure alopecia, but it can certainly help.

I usually do not give reviews, however had to put one for this product which I have been using for over a couple of years. As for the quality, it has not changed over the years unlike its price- which has almost doubled (first purchased for about £7). I read loads of reviews for this product - ranging from Excellent (Almost a miracleGro for hair) to nothing but a snake oil. However, the ever receding hair line prompted me to try this shampoo. After 2 years, one thing I can be certain is that the hair are still reducing- cannot be sure if at a lower/higher pace than with/without using this product. However, I have changed to other shampoos in the middle but soon started getting comments that my hair were thinning /was becoming bald. Immediately, I purchased another bottle of this shampoo and those comments vanished. So after 2 years of trial, one thing is certain, regular use of this shampoo certainly does plump/add life to the hair, which "appears" to be fuller. Whether it is just a snake oil or if it actually does stimulate hair growth- NO COMMENT. But surely, even if it improves the appearance of the hair and gives it a fuller look, I guess I will be buying it again as something is better than nothing and beggars cannot be choosers!

Due to anaemia, my crowning glory of abundant hair started thinning out alarmingly until I could see my scalp through the hair strands. Every shampoo and nutrition tip that professed to arrest the problem proved unsuccessful.This product, however, has stopped hair loss altogether. I started using this product six months ago so reserved judgement until I'd given it some time. I began noticing improvement from about three months into use of the shampoo. For instance, I no longer had to vacuum the bathroom floor each day to get rid of the fallen black curls.I also notice that growth is enhanced so that frequency of visits to hairdresser to keep short hair groomed has increased.That is a small price to pay for not seeing my stone tiled bathroom floor devoid of my curls.Whilst I cannot claim that new hair follicles are produced, I'm managing to hold on to the existing hair so, fingers crossed, I won' have to resort to wearing a wig anytime soon.My only regret - I wish I'd come across this product years ago.One bottle goes a long way - about an inch in the palm of your hand lathers well on short hair. Most shampoos have strong perfume but this product does not, so it's another plus.

Very high quality shampoo and conditioner!However after a couple of months I'd only seeing minor changes while only using the shampoo. However this is probably down to my scalp and hair being in very bad shape after being diagnosed with IBD and going on an intensive care regime that's left my immune system weak and as such hair and nail growth are slowed significantly.Also I only recently decided to follow up and get the conditioner which I feel is making a bigger difference as before I was getting a lot of growth but it was still fragile as the main shampoo does not moisturise as much as I'd like on its own and the majority of my hair growth was ruined by naturally dry skin that had been only getting worse since my hair was thinned from my treatment.I know it does work though as my sides where I didn't experience nearly as much hair loss keep getting to almost shoulder length from roughly chin height every 6/8 weeks which is an inch or more than it used to do!All in all I'd say that this is a good buy, but you should definitely save the pennies up and get both the shampoo and conditioner to get the best results if you have terrible skin such as myself.

Would recommend this shampoo im funny whst i try as know there is loads of stuff out there saying the same but trust me this is working for me .had a hair transplant about 10weeks ago as hair was getting thin .i got 3900 grafts and started using this shampoo 12 dsys after the medication given. Its now 6 weeks and sent the follow up pic to hospital and got a phone call from doctors as your ment to shed after transplant but my hair is growing fast was shaved completely now look like a numder 2 all over as did not take the cheap way to a transplant where get as many grafts they can do .havenow got hair coming throw were never had transplant which has been years hair was really thin but loads or growth.Not saying all down to shampoo but the doctor said must be doing something and have sent them a bottle to look at .also take vit 12 and biotin 2x aday to help as us men know can be hard losing hair but people think its funny or why bother but take pride in my appearance and has helped me in confidence cant wait till get firts hair cut to tidy it up .so lad give it a go u mit be surprised

I have been using this shampoo for the last 3 years. We been throw menopause, alopecia... and hairthinning... I say no more. ?Watermans Grow Me Shampoo, has been our saviour... specially for my 18 yrs son and myself. The shampoo is not a magic shampoo making your hair grow thicker and faster in couple of weeks. That is totally rubbish! What the shampoo do over months is reducing hairloss so your hair look thicker.. because your hair getting healthier it may grow a bit faster. The shampoo have a lovely smell and make my hair amazingly soft. My sons alopecia (he had lots of big bold paths back on his head) didn't stop using the shampoo, but his hairthinning on top of his head luckily stopped!His hair as growed back after 9 long months. He using this shampoo still..every day...bless him! I'm 55 so my hair have changed, of course, with years. But my hair do not getting any thinner tho, its shiny, healthy .. thanks to the bestest shampoo I have ever tried. Says a lot when we go thru 12 bottle of "Watermans Grow me shampoo" a year, in total purchased 49 bottle...

So pleased with this product. Just thought I'd give it a go and I noticed the difference after 1 wash then after a week I realised that my hair wasn't coming out in handfuls in the shower. The floor round my dressing table is usually covered in hair that's fallen out and it's not. I've only been using it for 2 weeks on Friday 11.11.16 and I really can feel the change. At first I felt like it had dried my hair a bit but then is was fine. It's stronger. I'm not 100% sure about the new hair growth but it definitely feels like it's got more volume on top which could be new hair bulking it up but I probably won't really know for a couple of months if it is new growth.My scalp was itching too before I started using the product and now it's fine and feels really fresh. I'd recommend to anyone with thin hair. I will definitely be getting some more soon. I have to wash my hair every day so it'll probably last about 3 weeks but for anyone who doesn't have to wash everyday it'll last longer. Wow this stuff is amazing - I have been using this for about 10 days and washed hair 3 times in that time, I have shoulder length very blonde (bleached) bob - had my hair trimmed last week about 1/2inch and it already looks uneven on the ends again and I have also noticed root growth (actual dark roots) I have had grey hair since I turned 30 at the front and never had roots show through dark normally just have to recolour hair a darker shade of blonde then it fades lighter as it needs re-doing never have roots (only grey ones). Anyway I noticed today I actually have about 1/2 inch of dark roots showing (I am also taking Sea Kelp Supplements rich in iodine was recommended)so may be a combination of the two but will definitely rebuy this when it runs out as only need about 10p worth to wash my hair lathers really well - leave on for 2-3 mins as per instructions then use the cholesterol conditioner and leave that on for 10 minutes and all I can say is WOW.. I know everyone is different and I am very sceptical and have tried everything but this works for me.

As a male and having tried the little variety of shampoos there are on the high street supermarket which actually target hair loss and hair thinning with proven ingredients, i was glad that i stumbled upon this on Amazon.The product arrived efficiently with sufficient amount of protective packaging, although the packaging wasn't very premium, the shampoos simple elegant design still was. The bottle is made of plastic with black colour and its a standard shape of a shampoo bottle as you would expect.I have thin hair and some hair loss, after trying this product for some several days i could see some results. My hair felt stronger as i swiftly dragged my hand through my luscious locks and also my family members noticed the difference.The results are obvious due to the 3 main ingredients labelled on the bottle.... Biotin gives healthy hair growth and thickness, caffeine stops hair loss and fortifies hair follicles, argan oil nourishes the hair and keeps it healthy.will definitely buy again.thanks for reading my review.

Whoever invented this shampoo are very smart people,who really thought of people who have bad hair growth or who have lost hair.This shampoo is top of the range,it makes your hair grow,thickens hair, makes hair real clean looking and so soft.I'm on my 2nd bottle and my hair is growing everybody is commenting on my fast growth and how healthy shiny and soft it looks.I went from blonde back to brown and my hair was so damaged after being blonde for a year my hair stopped growing I lost a lot of hair,when I used to have really thick long fast growing hair,now it's growing with this shampoo,I've been using it 4 weeks now my hair has grown about an inch.Now for anyone out there giving this a badrating don't listen to them,they don't have a clue what they are doing and give up to easily.Read instructions and follow exactly and give it time,trust me you will see a difference.If it helped chemo patients grow their hair back then it can do it for you.LOVE LOVE LOVE this product, I will forever buy it 100000 stars.

My hairdresser laughed at me when i told her my hair was falling out because i have naturally thick hair. I noticed that i was losing a lot when washing it,pulling out a big clump from the plughole each time. It got to the point where i dreaded brushing it let alone washing it. So i did some research and came across this shampoo and thought i'd give it a go. I've used this 4 times now and noticed a vast improvement already. I'm not finding clumps in the plughole anymore and not getting handfulls of hair coming out when brushing it. I didn't know when i ordered it that for "best" results to use it 4-5 times a week,now i've not got the time for this and my hair doesn't need washing that many times anyway.If i'd seen this before i probably wouldn't have bought it to be honest,but i did so decided to use it the normal amount of times for me,(about 3 times a week). This said,it has made a big differance in the amount i'm losing. I use this and my usual conditioner but i do leave it on for the 3-4 mins as recommended.
