I purchased tgis because love the Monopoly board game, but can't always play. This way I can play anytime and best of all there is no need to pack it up when the game is over. You can play with house rules, like land on Free Parking and get money (from taxes etc) or you can play with monopoly proper rules. One of these is the auction which, I haven't tried to yet, cannot be disabled. This is a little bug bear because when my brother and I play the board game we don't do the auction - if we land on a property we do not to buy, we don't buy tgem, but alas in this version you've no choice. I've seen a few videos - reviews and gameplay. According to at least one of the reviews, you can't save your game.Although there is no save option, the computer automatically saves the game between goes. If you quit it allows you to continue your game. You can play both 2d board, or whats called the 3d living board. You get two games to play offline (Monopoly Plus & My Monopoly) and Monopoly Deal which for some unknown reason can only be played online. You can play with 6 players and those can be human or AI. With my Monopoly you can create a board, then save and play it, in 2D only. There are two exceptions however. You cannot rename the Tax Squares or Chance and Community Chest squares. The properties and Utilities can all be renamed. However, rename Trafalgar Square Wonder Woman (DC Comics Monopoly) and the Chance or Community Chest card says Advance to Trafalgar Square. If you love Monopoly, chances are you'll enjoy this. I did.

This is a very nicely presented and colourful family game for up to 6 players. You can either play with the standard 2D board, or a nicely animated "living" 3D model. There is also the opportunity to personalise your own board - a nice touch. The sub-game, Monopoly Deal can only be played online (with the exception of the tutorial mode). After completing the tutorial, I found myself no further clued up as to what it was all about to be honest! Saying that, even in online mode a window on the right of the screen explains the function of each card, and it really is quite an addictive little game, once you grasp the concept! Sessions are typically shorter, 10 to 30 minutes depending on the number of players (2 to 5 respectively),and there are definitely some grudge matches to be had!Playing online on both modes (Monopoly and Monopoly Deal) is great too, but the main problem is that once the host leaves (and believe me, 99% of them do once they are bankrupt), instead of migrating the host, the game just shuts down - ruining it for all the remaining players who may have invested (pardon the pun!) an hour or two of their time into that game.

A must-buy. I will be adding this to my list of top gifts and recommending this to whoever I can! It is an excellent game that removes all the hassle that comes with the Monopoly board game.I only bought this because I was gifting a PS4 to my nephew and wanted some sort of family game that he could play with his siblings since he likes the original Monopoly. The feedback from his parents was so positive that I decided to pop by and try it myself. We had hours of fun between us (my nephew aged 10, his father and myself in our 40s). I enjoyed it so much that I have purchased a PS4 for myself just so as to be able to play this game in this format. It will cause you to rethink how you play Monopoly for the better. This is the best Monopoly game on any game console and if you are looking for an entertaining, family game for all ages on the PS4, then I will highly recommend this.

I have regular Monopoly (with debit cards), but playing it requires you to have a few hours on time allocated to the process. Was really happy to see the console version - it's so much faster. All cash transfers don't take any time and you don't need an extra person to act as a dealer. Graphics-wise it's pretty too. A bit of a downside for me is that some animations - they just take too long. You can skip them though. It's a decent game I can play with my wife when she is tired of looking at brutal stuff happening in other games on the screen when I play alone.

Great Game as Monopoly always is. The customisation on the game is great with the living boards and been able to make your own street names/train stations. Just some of the community that lets it down as usual to most online games these days, just get people quitting close to the start of the game after taking some properties then trading with someone and giving all their stuff before leaving. spoils the game as most people know a good game will last well over a hour aswell.

It has been an absolute pleasure to play this game it has all the characteristics of the fun time board game monopoly with all the original rules that the actual board game should of had. Having it in PlayStation format is brilliant a stroke of genius and the living mode of the game too is brilliance. 10 out of 10 for all you game producer's out there. Nice one.

The game play is good the graphics is good but the only reason why I've given it 3 stars is the game cheats,I've played this game all my life and nowhere does it state you get 400 for landing on a railway station when all 4 are owned and when landing on one and the rent with no houses is 200 but the game charges you 300

Bought to entertain large family. I think its epic not having to set up or clear away. No arguments over money or ownership and no chance of board getting booted into air. I am now the only one playing the game on tv. Dont figure ?

Monopoly on PS4, what else is there to say. You get all the bits from the board game and still end up with one of the kids moaning, so same results too. Great for lazy people who don’t want to play the real thing.

Whole family is really loving this. And the BIG benefit is the fact that now there's no arguing over the rules because the computer is the judge. And when the game is over there's putting everything away etc.

Get plenty of people on board to play monopoly , good board game of the 90's timeless classic. 10/10, family orientated and a great price to boot.

Great family/friendship destroying game. Just like with the board version with less of the cleaning up to do afterwards.
