I am transitioning to grey and the highlights in my hair that are growing out look a horrible brassy colour. I heard about this shampoo randomly from a young girl working in a supermarket when we got talking about hair.....like you do!She told me to be careful using it.....not to use too much because it can turn your hair purple.So I bought this with much fear as purple in my hair was the last thing I wanted. I also watched a lot of youtube videos to see what I was letting myself in for. This may all be a little over dramatic but I did not want purple hair!When I used it this week for the first time I left it in for just shy of a minute as I was terrified I would over do it.I wore gloves that

I bought this product based on recommendation from my beautician. I am going grey and have very grey streaks either side of my hair. I decided to embrace the grey and have my hair bleached regularly every 6 weeks. However bleaching does not give you the grey colour and can look brassy. I used this product for the first time today and it is amazing it has taken a lot of the yellow out of my hair and given me a lovely even colour. I have only ever been able to get this colour by having a toner at my hairdresser. I used gloves and left the product on for approximately 2 minutes I would not leave on for any longer as your hair may go purple.

I cannot recommend this shampoo highly enough. I have never received so many compliments on the colour of my hair since I started using this shampoo!! I use it every time I wash my hair now, usually about 4 times a week, I don't use any conditioner afterwards but always use the Milkshake Silver shine whipped cream mousse instead as recommended by my hairdresser. It has transformed my hair colour and I am thrilled with both of these products. They are not cheap but well worth the investment as they last a very long time as only a small amount is needed for excellent results. One word of warning though, don't be alarmed when first using the shampoo as it does leave your hands with a purple stain on them but it does wash off with a bit of elbow grease!!!

My blonde hair has naturally brassy tones to it and can mean my freshly highlighted hair can turn yellow in a matter of weeks. After trying the touch of silver shampoo from the supermarket, I was still dealing with some brassiness leftover. My hairdresser recommended this product to me on my last visit and I have never looked back! All it takes is a 30 second shampoo with this and the brassiness is completely gone. Leaving it any longer than 30 seconds will leave purpley/grey tones to hair but I didn't mind that so much! The smell is absolutely amazing - like blueberries and vanilla. The only downside is it can stain your hands and nails very quickly..takes a few hand washes to get rid of!

This stuff is amazing and really works! Bought it and the milkshake silver shine whipped cream and I've only used them once together but the results are amazing far better than any toner! Got rid of all the nasty yellow mess up my hair dresser did to my hair in just one go with leaving the shampoo on 3 mins before finding out then putting the whipped cream all over my hair then hair drying as normal I couldn't believe how good the results are, couldn't be happier, 100% recommend to anyone wanting to get rid of the brassy tones from bleaching your hair, it's expensive but definitely worth the money and using both products together eliminates any chance of your hair going dry like some people

So i had my hair dyed at the salon a light grey/silver colour on top of bleached highlights and it cost me a fortune. After 2 washes my toner from the hairdressers faded and I felt quite upset that this had happened so I bought this after seeing a blogger write about it . Well I'm soooooo glad I did . I leave it on for 4-5 mins brush through the shampoo and it gives my hair the most amazing grey /slightly lavender colour . It also leaves my hair so soft and shiny . It looks super healthy and I've had so many compliments on it. Team this with the milkshake whipped cream leave in conditioner and trust me your hair will look like you've had it professionally done everyday !

I’m a hairdresser and I recently bleach my own hair dye to having bad roots and salons being closed. I usually have to double tone my hair as I like very pearly toners.I used this once right after bleaching all over my hair and rinsed it out immediately. The ends of my hair went the perfect pearly colour. Then the next day I used the shampoo on dry hair and applied it to my roots like a tint and left it for 3 minutes. It toned my very yellow roots down to a neutral blonde colour, so now the next time I apply it, they will match up nicely!Below I have put a before and after photo to show the difference!

I really like this shampoo. You can rinse immediately after lathering for it to wash your hair and prevent yellowing, or you can leave it on for a bit longer to get a more 'blue' tinge. Either way, my hair has a brilliant silvery sheen whenever I use this. The only downside is that during transit, the cap can come undone which means the shampoo leaks. This isn't too much of an issue as each shampoo is sent in a sealed bag and, when this happened to me, I didn't seem to lose too much product, but if it leaks badly I can imagine that you could lose quite a lot of shampoo.

It is an amazing product, I use it once or sometimes twice a week if I’m going somewhere special. The colour is an amazing light purple colour which is really stunning, I’ve had lots of comments saying they love the colour & is it dyed, I explain it’s just a very good shampoo & told them where they can buy it at a reasonable price. The only complaint I have is that when it arrived a lot of the product had leaked into the padded envelope, the top of it hadn’t been screwed in properly, this is the first time that’s happened so decided not to officially complain.

Amazing shampoo.. as you can see from my picture the results are amazing, this was over a week using it every other day. 1st picture is what my hair looked like, second picture after using it for the 1st time and 3rd after a week. I didn’t want to put my hair through another bleaching session at the hairdressers to get the bright blonde I wanted. So I decided to use this 1st before booking another appointment in a couple weeks but from the results I’ve had I don’t think I need that extra bleaching session on my hair. ?

This stuff does exactly what I wanted. Having recently gone a more silverly white colour of blonde, I noticed that after a week or so, it started to lose the brightness somewhat. Use this once a week and its amazing. So noticeable. It's a really vivid purple when it comes out the bottle, and it will stain your hands a bit (and make sure to wipe anything in the bathroom it gets on!), but it's great. I thought it was quite expensive, but it lasts a long time and does exactly what I wanted, so I'd say it's worth the cost.

As many others report, I also received this product which had leaked. It hasn't leaked much and it was contained in the plastic bag, but a bit of tape over the lid could easily prevent this.As for the product in short happy with it. I dye my hair at home and no matter how much I try, my roots always go brassy. This shampoo has helped massively. I do end up with violet streaks in my hair, but I quite like that. Am tempted to leave it on my roots for longer and maybe add some heat, but I'm not brave enough yet!

works really well! this is the best purple shampoo I have ever used, after just a couple of minutes on my hair, my yellow tones had gone to a silvery/grey colour which is what I really wanted.It did stain my hands a little, but it came off after some scrubbingAs others have experienced though, my bottle arrived and it had been leaking in the bagI will warn that if your hair is damaged, it will cling to that section more than others, and might give a slight purple tinge at first :)

I really like this shampoo, it tones down yellow/brassy tones and leaves highlights looking an icy shade. The only issue is the lid. The shampoo had leaked everywhere when I opened the package. I also find that a lot of shampoo leaks out of the lid when you open it in the shower. I’m not sure if the lid is faulty but noticed a few other reviews said the same thing. This wastes a lot of product and I wouldn’t mind if it the shampoo was cheap but it’s a bit more on the pricy side.

This product has been fantastic I bought this after a recommendation from my hairdresser and it was so worth it. My roots are starting to creep in and my colour was starting to go a little dull but since using this shampoo it has brightened up so much and made my roots less noticeable. This is perfect considering we are in lockdown and I can’t have my colour done. Hopefully it should be enough to keep me from going down the home bleach route!
