This is a follow up to previously having used Shea Moisture Retention, although it had been incorporated into brands.This one has a very appealing and pleasant coconut scent to it. I have used it for one week and found it to be effectiveand indeed one of the best. For me it has a feeling of quality and luxury. It certainly reduces the thickness of the curland accompanying frizziness which is usually the result when using cheaper shampoos.A massive plus is that similar to their other products, it does not contain any potentially harmful or unpleasant contents.No paragons, sulphates which are present in other cheaper brands.It lathers up nicely but without it being too much and it left my hair feeling silky smooth.Again,

Both my husband and my eldest son have naturally curly hair and, my son especially, is always trying out new products that will help 'tame' it. This is a fairly pricey product, but you do get a reasonable amount (379 ml) in a bottle. The product states that it will 'moisturize and define curls' and it contains Coconut Oil to hydrate and protect, while reducing breakages, Silk Protein to give a soft, silky feel and Neem Oil to control frizz and add shine.This has a gorgeous smell and feels rich and creamy. It certainly does help reduce frizz, and leave hair soft, but I did not notice any definite change in the definition of the hair. I like the fact that the product has no synthetic colours or other additives.

I'd read a few reviews of this product online and was eager to see if it was as good as everyone claimed. I have thick wavy hair and this shampoo is aimed at "thick curly hair" so I was interested to see whether it would enhance my waves, it didn't, but the shampoo itself is exceptional!It smells wonderful and is quite a thin mixture which applies easily. My hair tends to be either shiny and smooth but lacking in volume or it has volume but is dry and frizzy. This shampoo has (so far) managed to strike the perfect balance of volume and shine and most noticeably I am now going three (and I think I could even manage 4) days between washes with my hair looking as good on the third day as it does on the first,

This is a nice creamy but low suds shampoo, that smells of delicious coconut and nutty shea. It gives the hair a nice shine, and make it smell lovely, however I cannot see or justify why this should cost nearly £10. In my opinion it is no better at cleaning hair than my usual brand costing around £2.50.I have very curly hair but did not notice any curl enhancing properties. To enhance my curls it would need to have some sort of oily base, or leave some sort of moisturising residue, which this shampoo didn't.It's a decent enough quality product but I have removed a star because of the price which I think is too much for what it is,

I honestly don’t want to use another shampoo I feel as though this is all I need for my long thick curls! Any product by this company is a yes yes yes! I will be re-upping on this once I run out but so far I have a lot to go!Such a beautiful smell and leaves not just my hair but my scalp so so soft too, I love having naturally soft curls without even any curl product in because of this shampoo!Would recommend using a conditioner from the same brand just to give your hair some extra tlc, and also use their leave in strengthen & restore deep treatment mask that comes in a tub and lasts a long time as the mask is thick and can distribute evenly! Just feel as though that would be a good trio to create the most luscious,

Worked well on my thick wavy hair. I'm a bit of a boring person and always stick to the same shampoo and hair products so it's nice to try something I probably wouldn't have considered myself, in fact I've never even heard of this brand but having tried a few of the products I think it's pretty good and not laden with the usual chemicals you see in shampoos. It probably doesn't lather as well as some of my regular products but it smells lovely sndmg hair doesfedl smoother and shinier after using it so I'm pleased. You don't need loads so although it's a bit pricier than standard high street stuff it does seem reasonable valid with the good results

I use this product on mine and both my daughters hair: mine transitioning and theirs virgin never retouched hair. We all have very thick curly hair. This shampoo smells nice, applies easily, a little at a time, I wash thrice and rinse. I feel our hair on the whole feels cleaner, softer and smells nice after using this shampoo. This is another fab product from the Shea Moisture range and I hope to keep using the range on my hair journey. The products are a bit on the expensive side but they have worked for us.

One of the best shampoos I have ever used! I absolutely love the majority of the products in the Shea Moisture range and this shampoo doesn’t disappoint. In fact it leaves my hair feeling that moisturized that you could easily mistake it for conditioner! It gives amazing ‘slip’ and you can feel its moisturizing ingredience working their magic. Its smells great (as do all their products) and I especially love the fact that there are no hidden nasties – sulphate/paraben/silicone free!

This shampoo seems to have a slight softening effect as after using it my fell into soft curls and waves rather than coiled up springs. I would say that it does tame my hair to a degree and it smells absolutely lovely, personally I would pay for the smell. In general my hair felt soft and clean and even softer if using the matching conditioner to. It is a bit expensive but you I found that I used less than if using a cheaper shampoo.

I have tried many shampoos and conditioners for my sons super curly hair and always try my best to opt for the most natural and not ridden with chemicals. I wash his hair once a month and if and when necessary and this is by far one of the best products I've used. HIs hair is not as tangled even weeks after washing. His curls are soft and defined and well moisturized and his hair stays cleaner for longer

I have thick, very dry hair without curls. This is the first shampoo I have ever used that has no lather at all. My first reaction on using it was that it seemed to be oil, not shampoo, and that my hair did not feel clean afterwards. However, my hair was less dry after using it. Four days later my hair is soft but not greasy. So I guess it works - if you can get over the lack of lather.

This shampoo is really lovely! My hair is naturally curly with extra frizz and it’s helped so much with this and dryness. You really can feel the difference in your hair when rinsing it out. It feels smoother silkier unlike regular shampoo that you get from the supermarket. When I brushed my hair afterwards it de-tangled so easily - I’m putting it down to this product! Just fab.

This leaves my 3B curls in amazing condition! I think that it must be the absence of sulphates and the addition of silk proteins. As soon as I started using this, my hair no longer frizzed at the back. Leaves my hair silky and soft and smells wonderful. I use it in combination with a Tresemme Naturals conditioner.

A rich shampoo that smells gorgeous - packed with natural ingredients and leaves my hair feeling moisturised and healthy. It helps to bring out the natural curl and cuts down on frizz. Not a product for everyday use but very good for a once-a-week moisture injection.

Gorgeous. My combination hair is less greasy overall and I can get away with washing every 5 days as the roots look shiny but not greasy for a lot longer. Smell isn’t as sweet as I like for coconut but it’s fine. That’s a minor detail. Overall very happy
