Bought for my grandson who's into aeroplanes etc. This kit is a mixture of plastic and metal parts but none the worse for that. Recommended for 8 yrs and up and certainly quite complicated to assemble ( I think an 8 yr old would struggle). I build quite a few various kits (robots etc) and found this quite challenging. The parts are well made and nicely thought out. Haven't had any Meccano since my childhood (over 60 yrs ago) but would recommend this modern version. As previous buyers have said only instructions for 3 models in the included booklet but more info online.

Nice meccano set. Quite fiddly to attach some parts. I was parts missing but contacted meccano and I received the missing parts 4 weeks later. Some of the models are quite long and time consuming to build but the overall product is good

Meccano was another thing, like Lego that’ll never go out of fashion. Kids need to put away their phones and start using things like this.Add on. Had to take away a star as there are pieces missing.

After the helicopter has been completed it can be dismantled and, I think15 other models can be made. A very good but for any child who likes construction toys.

Quality was of high standards and do a fantastic job! Definitely worth the price, if you need a great quality product then look no further than this product!

Bought it for hubby's bday. He loved it. A little complex for children, I'd say it's good for 10 yrs +. Great for daddy and kids time.

Great kit, age guidance is about right, I bought this for my nephew and he loves it. It is both versatile and challenging.

Good meccano set, best price around. Easy to find the instructions for building the other models.
