I bought this to carry a large DSLR camera and lens (weighing 3kg) on walks. I’ve had a few day packs over the years and this is easily the best. I have a bad back but don’t notice the weight when carrying this, even after a 3 hour walk. There are lots of useful pockets and features and it feels well made. It’s quite long and narrow, so doesn’t get stick out at the sides and get stuck on branches etc. The integrated rain cover is brilliant, although I haven’t had a chance to test it in heavy rain yet
